(A/N: I don't know…I was talking to one of my friends who mentioned mirrors, and of course I got inspired…enjoy!)
Mirror
Leah refuses to look at herself in the mirror.
If she sees herself, she'll see what she's become.
If she sees herself, she'll see her too short hair, her dirty, tired face, and her lonely eyes.
As long as she keeps avoiding mirrors, she can pretend.
She can pretend that she's still the same person, with long hair, a face that she always gets compliments on, and bright, happy eyes.
But even without looking in the mirror, she knows that she isn't the same person, both on the outside and on the inside.
Even without looking in the mirror, she knows that she'll never be the same again.
Leah refuses to look at herself in the mirror.
So why can't she pretend that she's still the same?
