Hey everybody so this my attempt to write a story on here uh I'm very new here so hopefully I'll be able to get this out to you guys uh I had one on here actually but you won't be able to read it because I accidentally published it and there's nothing really on there so I'm so very extremely very sorry for that like I said I'm new on here and this story is a new one that I'm working on as well and this is for all you Chavez's fans out there this one is for you guys and it's called Thor The Regulator and it takes place during the first Young Guns movie and I don't own anything of Young Guns or Any of the characters I wish I did but I don't I just own my character Thor who is a German Shepherd dog by the way I hope you'll enjoy this story let me know what you guys think of it and if you have any story ideas or suggestions please email them to me at thanks again and now here is the first chapter enjoy it
Chapter 1. Prologue
John Tunstall an Englishman living in Lincoln County New Mexico was in Lincoln checking on his general store and everything else in between it was a beautiful day outside in Lincoln and John was admiring every moment of it tomorrow was going to be one of his Regulator's birthday that young Regulator happened to be Jose Chavez Y. Chavez John always called him by his first name even though he preferred to be called by his surname which of course is Chavez he had been through a lot in the following year starting from an early age as well his father was never the best man for him only his mother was in the best interest for him John remember the day He first met Chavez he was tall had long black hair and dark eyes he was trying to kill Lawrence Murphy for what he had done to his family and John decided to take the young boy in a teach him a better way in life and ever since then he has been a changed boy he's still kind of quiet and shy most of the time but over time he had grown and John knew the perfect birthday present for the boy and John knew that he was the most responsible person of all of his Regulators aside from Richard Brewer of course who along with Josiah Gordon Doc Scurlock were with him in town Jose stayed back at the ranch John had hoped that Dirty Steve and Charlie Bowdre would leave Chavez be but they probably wouldn't Jose had a violent temper at times when he got very upset then he would go off to be on his own and that was how everything was for Jose
Mr.Tunstall? A young man named Josiah Gordon Doc Scurlock asked and John happily turned to the boy with blonde hair and blue eyes
Yes Josiah is everything alright young man? He replied trying to be cheerful
Chavez's birthday is tomorrow and I don't know what to get him for his birthday Doc replied looking rather bummed than joyful
Ah well my dear boy I'm sure we can find something for Jose's birthday tomorrow come on young lad let's go see what we can find in my general store John suggested as we walked into his general store
After they checked everything at the store it was time to head home but before they headed back to the ranch John had to pick up Chavez's birthday present it was at a small family farm six miles outside of Lincoln John was very familiar with the owners of the farm they became very good friends of his Richard and Doc stayed in the wagon while John went and got the birthday gift for Chavez John knew Chavez would love it he was a very responsible young boy and was very good with animals as if the animals trusted him John met with owner of the ranch his name Herold Wright and his wife Margaret they are very nice people and they had dog that they named Nattily or Nat as they sometimes like to call her they found a male stray German Shepherd dog and they asked John if Chavez would like to have him and John told them that Chavez would like to have him and that he very good with animals especially with dogs
Are you sure he'll love this dog Mr.Tunstall? Margaret
Oh I'm absolutely certain that he'll love the Mrs Wright John replied
John Tunstall was a very respectful man and he taught his Regulators to the same John loaded the dog onto the wagon and rode off to John's ranch Richard and Doc were sitting up front with John while the dog remained in the back of the wagon
Where are you going to put the dog so Chavez doesn't see him until tomorrow on his birthday Mr.Tunstall? Richard asked
Richard "Dick" Brewer was the foreman of the Regulators and he was very good at his job he and Doc were the first two Regulators that John had ever had he was a big guy with short black hair he was tall as well and came from Vermont and gruffness in his voice and liked to get the job done and done right Doc on the other hand was short with blond hair and blue eyes he was described as a sensitive young poet who loved to poetry every chance he could get
Don't worry about that Richard the dog will be in the barn until tomorrow morning after breakfast I'll reveal him John said simply
Do you think he'll like this Mr.Tunstall? Doc added worriedly
John smiled at him he smiled a reassuring smile to the two boys sitting next to him Doc was known to worry about the little things he cares about the people around him and will stick by them until the end of time John told the two boys that Chavez was going to love having a dog that he could his very own John had noticed that Chavez had thought about having a dog but wasn't sure with going through with it until when they pulled up to the ranch they noticed that Chavez wasn't in sight so Richard and Doc snuck the dog into the barn
I sure hope he doesn't make any racket during the night Richard told Doc

After they got the dog into the barn it was time for dinner and Chavez had come back after being down by the river all day after dinner it was time for their usual reading session then it was time for bed and they couldn't wait to see the look on Chavez's face when he sees what they did to make his birthday extra special just for him
