Wishing a Life away

When Rose went on her first date, she wanted a man with a northern accent to come and tease her about always picking pretty boys.

When Andrew got down on one knee one Christmas eve, Rose wanted someone to whine about her becoming too domestic.

As Rose walked down the aisle she prayed for a man in a long brown coat to come and promise her that she would always be with him.

On the birth of her first child, Rose wanted a friendly voice telling her that if he believe in one thing he believed in her.

When her first grandchild came in to the world, Rose wanted someone to remind her that some things are worth getting your heart broken over.

As her husband took her last breath, Rose could hear a voice saying "People are dying and Rose would care"

As Rose took her last breath she didn't wish for a man in dark leather or someone who was rude and not ginger. Rose was glad he was in a different universe so he couldn't watch another person wither and die. She did, however, send a silent thank you to the man who had kept his promise and had always been with her if only in her memories. Just as Rose slipped away, she thought she heard a beloved voice whisper..

"And I suppose.... if this is my last chance to say it.... Rose Tyler.... I Love You"
