Olivia didn't know how she stumbled upon the situation in front of her.

To recap, she was just an ordinary commoner living peacefully with her parents. Sure, she was taught some magic by a passing scholar, but she never even had a shred of thought about entering the world of the rich and nobles.

But she ended up getting a scholarship to Holfort Academy after showing an aptitude for healing magic. Being a commoner in a school full of nobles was tough. She had to face noble girls mocking her status and looking down at her daily. Still, she persevered. If she endured three years at this Academy and graduated, her options to help her parents would be limitless.

That was right. Olivia's motivation to face the jeers aimed daily at her was simple; she wanted to help her kind parents.

She did not expect to stumble upon a weird flying cat who could talk. She definitely didn't expect that. The cat, who called herself Fragrance, told Olivia that she came from Hope Kingdom, a kingdom in another dimension. Hope Kingdom had fallen to the force of Dysdark. She was given the Princess Perfumes and tasked to find the Legendary Princess Precures.

Her explanation was cut short because Dysdark's general came and crashed the scene.

So here she was, on the opposite side of the general, who introduced himself as Steal. Fragrance was in her arms, shivering as she looked up at Steal floating in the sky.

"How about you give me that cat, and I'll be out of your way, Miss?"

Olivia was scared.

However, the cat in her arms was even more scared of the flying freak in a gothic outfit! There was no way she would ever hand over Fragrance to Steal!

And so, even if she was scared, Olivia found her courage.

The courage to say no.

"N-No. I will not hand her over!"

The pleasant expression on Steal's face turned ugly as he scowled. "Che, stubborn girl. Alright, if you want to play hard..."

Steal looked around and found something because he smirked. Olivia didn't like his smirk. What could he be planning?

"You're good enough," he pointed at something. "Steal your dream!"

A red keyhole suddenly came and struck a random girl in the chest. In an instant, a cage confined the girl's unconscious body. Olivia gasped in surprise at what had just happened. What kind of magic was this?

"Oh no, it's bad-fura!"

However, she was even more surprised when she was assaulted by a vision. It was the vision of an elegant room inside a around in confusion, Olivia saw the caged girl with a curvier body wearing an ornate red dress. On the table was a case full of money.

"My dream is to be the richest person in the world, fufufu!" the girl said as she unfolded the fan in her grip.

"This is..."

"This is the girl's dream-fura! Steal is stealing and trapping the dream in the Cage of Despair-fura!"

Olivia gasped at the explanation. "What will happen to her?"

"She will fall into despair and be locked away for eternity-fura!"

Before Olivia could say anything more, the vision ended. In front of her was a gigantic monster with the appearance of money with arms and legs. On the center was the head of the monster, a black lock with a single ominous glowing eye from the keyhole.

"Oh no! A Zetsuborg-fura!"

Olivia was frozen in fear. A monster? Here? They were in the vicinity of the Academy. While it wasn't a wild forest, there were no monsters because the staff regularly patrolled the area. And yet one appeared before her, and it wasn't a normal monster, but a gigantic money one.

"If only the Princess Precures are here-fura..."

"Princess Precure?" Olivia couldn't help but ask despite her fear.

"Legendary warriors who use the power of Princess Perfume and Dress Up Keys to defeat the Zetsuborg and hold back despair-fura!"

"Princess Perfume? Dress Up Keys?" More terms she was unfamiliar with. "Can I help?"

"I don't know-fura. Our records about the past Princess Precures were destroyed when the Dysdark invaded-fura! All we know is the Princess Perfume and the Dress Up Keys are needed-fura," Fragrance answered. She opened her briefcase, showing Olivia four perfume bottles, which must be the Princess Perfumes, and a miniature pink dress toy with a daisy flower ornament; she supposed it was the Dress Up Key. "Any other knowledge is missing-fura."

The distress in the cat's tone was visible. When Olivia tried to imagine what happened to Fragrance in a short time, she sympathized with her. Having your Kingdom fall, being chased to another dimension, and having a random bystander involved. Now she was going to die because Fragrance was clueless about her task.

"What should I do-fura?"

Seeing the tears in the corner of Fragrance's eyes, Olivia clenched her fist. A sad expression did not fit a cute cat like Fragrance. She really wanted to help her.

But...

Looking at the girl trapped inside the cage, Olivia was familiar with her. She was Belle, one of the bullies who loved mocking her status as a commoner. It was alright to leave her to suffer for eternity, wasn't it? It was a karmic retribution for always tormenting her. Olivia clenched her fist as if a devil was on her shoulder, whispering what she wanted to hear.

The Money Zetsuborg started to wreak havoc on the surroundings, catching the attention of the nearby students.

"What is that?"

"Monster!"

"Kyaa!"

Chaos.

All around her was chaos. Some students tried to throw their magic toward the Money Zetsuborg, but it was a futile effort.

"Zetsuborg can't be harmed using a normal attack or magic-fura. It has to be an attack that contains the power of hope and dreams-fura."

"Princess Precure..."

"That's right-fura."

The situation was dire now that the threat of the Zetsuborg was clear. The doubt about Belle being worth saving was cast away from Olivia's mind. From now on, all she thought about was how the tools to save them were near her grasp. Princess Perfume and Dress Up Key.

Olivia made her decision.

Without any more hesitation, she took them out of Fragrance's briefcase.

"Fura? What are you doing-fura?"

"I don't know what will happen, but I have to try."

Suddenly, the Dress Up Key glowed a pink light. It enveloped her entire body.

"Fura! What is happening-fura?"

"Hm? That pink shine... It can't be!" Steal remarked in surprise. "Lord Dyspear have told me about the tale!"

Inside Olivia's mind, a cheerful voice asked,

"Hey, hey, what is your dream?" Olivia looked to see a brown-haired teen looking at her with a curious expression. "For me, I wanted to be a princess!"

"Princess?" Olivia blurted out.

The girl pouted before she giggled. "If it was the past me, I would've cried for being made fun of like that. But the me who has met with everyone isn't like that. In the end, I achieved my dreams, you know? I know you can too. So tell me, what is your dream?"

"I..." Olivia hesitated. "My dream is to help my parents. They are really kind and deserve better."

"I see," the figure smiled. "That's enough, I think. Thank you for telling me about your dream. It's a nice dream."

The figure grabbed Olivia's hand, which was gripping the Dress Up Key and the Princess Perfume. She guided Olivia's hand to press the button on the Dress Up Key and insert it into the top of the Princess Perfume, perfectly fitting the keyhole there.

"Now, repeat after me."

"Precure! Princess Engage!"

Olivia shouted as she pressed the button on the Dress Up Key, allowing the key to coming out of the dress. With confidence, she inserted the Dress Up Key into the Princess Perfume. Pink liquid filled the perfume bottle, and when it was full, Olivia sprayed it around her body. She sprayed on her feet and high-heel boots took place. Around her arms, now it was enveloped by elbow-length white gloves. She spread it on her body, and a frilly dark pink dress took the place of her school uniform. Next, she sprayed it on top of her head, and out came a golden tiara. Full of determination, she took the floating tiara and put it on her head. Her shoulder-length light-blond hair grew longer in an instant, flowing gently until it reached her waist in length. The tips of her bangs changed color into darker pink, not unlike the shade of her dress.

Her boot-covered feet touched the ground, and she curtsied. She then regained control of her body and looked.

"Eh? This is..."

"How was it?" The brown-haired figure smiled at Olivia. "Your first transformation as the Princess Precure."

"Princess Precure... me?"

"Of course, now follow me," the brown-haired figure struck a pose, which Olivia reluctantly followed.

"Princess of the Blooming Flower, Cure Flora!"

"Excellent!" the brown-haired figure clapped her hands in excitement. "Now you're ready to face Dysdark. Do not worry; as long as you hold tight to your dreams and never give up hope, you will achieve greatness. I guarantee it."

Olivia nodded. "Thank you, miss..."

"Pardon me, I haven't introduced myself, have I?" She curtsied. "Haruno Haruka. A pleasure to meet you, Cure Flora."

"Thank you, Miss Haruka."

The figure, now known as Haruka, blinked. "Oh my, excuse me. It seems that the land you reside in has the custom of first name-last name instead of last name-first name. Let me reintroduce myself. My name is Haruka Haruno."

"Ah..." Olivia blushed. "A pleasure to meet you, Miss Haruno."

"No, no, you can call me Haruka. I just want to clarify that it's my first name."

"...right. Thank you, Miss Haruka."

Haruka's body suddenly glowed. "And so my job here is done. The rest will come to you naturally. Even if you feel like you're lost, as long as you hold on to your hope, you will find a way."

Olivia tried to reach the lit-up body, but she found that her hand had gone through Haruka's body.

She sucked her breath at the scene.

"I've been long gone, do not be surprised. Now..." Haruka looked on towards the horizon. "I'll leave the rest to you, Senpai."

"'Senpai?'"

Haruka didn't answer. Her lit-up body flashed and turned into a dust of light.

When Olivia opened her eyes, she found herself back at the Holfort Academy facing the Money Zetsuborg. However, she was now wearing her Princess Precure outfit instead of the school uniform.

"Huh? This is..."

"Princess Precure!" Steal shouted in shock.

"How did this happen-fura?! Olivia turns into Princess Precure?" Fragrance was also shocked at what happened in front of her. Olivia, the kind girl that stumbled upon an injured cat (actually Fragrance) was the Princess Precure all along?!

With a new burst of confidence she gained from her meeting with Haruka, Olivia looked at the Money Zetsuborg and glared.

"O dream entrapped within the frozen cage! I shall reclaim you now! Do prepare yourself!"

Leon fou Bartfort was 'enjoying' a day at the Academy. And by enjoying, he meant he was doing nothing to gain attention or stand out from the crowd. It was the best for him; after all, he was a mob character in this otome game world.

That was right. Leon was not just a normal noble; he was the reincarnation of someone from 21st-century Japan. He thought this otome game world was another world entirely like the isekai light novels he read occasionally. However, when he met Luxion, his entire outlook changed. Apparently, this wasn't some random middle-aged-inspired Kingdoms. Holfort and the neighboring nations were founded by New Humans, who exterminated the Old Humans ages ago. Leon, a reincarnated person from 21st-century Japan, had the DNA of Old Humans.

The implication was clear. At some point in the future, after his death, a new race that could use magic appeared and eradicated the old race, and the result of the war was the prosperity of the New Humans. Luxion, a Lost Item, was a relic of the war age.

However, Leon had a small worry inside his heart when Luxion told him about New Humans. It was born from simple knowledge. A knowledge that only a select few knew.

In another dimension resided an entirely different but not dissimilar race than humans. He didn't know much but knew they had pointy ears and could use magic. Leon saw proof of them in his second year of middle school. Having an entire world shrouded in thorns as the sky turned darker than black would leave an impression on you. Seeing your junior and acquaintance transform into bright, colorful warriors of love and justice would reinforce the image. And finally, seeing them triumph against the evil force would make your heart feel an almost unbelievable relief.

Not that he ever doubted them, of course, no way.

That was one of the most memorable things in his previous short life. After that, his quiet life continued, graduating from middle school. His life ended when he fell down the stairs because he was too tired to go out a few years later.

But it seemed that the New Humans weren't the race who had helped them before, considering the normal ears he and his new family had, so he did not voice the worry to Luxion.

With the discovery of the Lost Item (which was actually a paid DLC in the game), he had enough clout to avoid being married off by his father's legal wife and gained the Barony title. (Which he didn't want, by the way.) However, being the first noble in his name (a new branch of Bartfort household), he had to attend the Academy. Since he knew this setting as an otome game, he decided to not muddy the storyline by standing out.

However...

When he heard a big thud coming from near the Academy and students running away in a frenzy, Leon couldn't do nothing. At the least, he had to assess the situation considering he had Luxion's help.

And so when every other student ran away from the site of the battle, Leon went against the flow and ran towards it instead.

When he arrived at the scene, his eyes were greeted by the sight that made him gasp in shock.

How wouldn't he? When the sight he saw back in his previous life appeared again in front of him. A gigantic, ridiculously-shaped monster, and a warrior in pink dress fighting against it.

"Haruno?" He couldn't help but whisper, seeing the girl dodging a swipe from the comical big hands coming at her.

Does Master know her? He heard Luxion asking him.

Not exactly, he replied to the AI.

There was no doubt that it was Cure Flora, the Princess of Flower. In other words, Haruno Haruka, his junior in middle school, was there in front of him. But how could that be? Haruno Haruka was an existence from his previous life. There was no way for her to survive until this life. Unless she was also a reincarnated person like him?

No, Leon shook his head. The point was, the appearance of a Zetsuborg and the Princess Precure wasn't something that happened in the otome game he played! This was reaching into unknown territory! Most likely, the Cure Flora in front of him wasn't Haruno, but another girl. If that was the case...

Leon observed as Cure Flora jumped high into the sky and drop-kicked the Zetsuborg in the head. He saw flower petals blow in the air as the kick landed. However, instead of continuing the barrage of attacks, Flora just looked at the downed Zetsuborg. Could it be...?

Soon, the Zetsuborg stood up. Sensing no other perfect opportunity, Leon shouted at Flora without hesitation.

"Now! Use Mode Elegant!"

Of course, entering the scene so suddenly, he was bound to catch attention. Goodbye, life as a mob character, you will be missed. However, he owed Haruno his life. Helping this new Flora was a way to repay his junior. He gathered his resolve.

Master? Is it wise to suddenly enter the scene?

Probably not, He replied to his familiar.

"Mode Elegant?" Flora questioned. Her voice was somewhat familiar to him. However, he needed help remembering where he had heard it before. What was clear was it definitely wasn't Haruno's voice.

"Use your bottle!"

Flora looked down at her waist before she nodded. Inserting the Dress Up Key into the Princess Perfume bottle once more, Flora twisted the key.

"Exchange! Mode Elegant!"

Covered by bright light, in an instant Flora's dress changed. The dress skirt became longer and layered. In her hands, flower petals gathered into a sphere.

"Dance, O Flowers! Precure, Floral Tourbillon!"

The swirling petals rushed toward the Zetsuborg. It purified it into the essence of dreams in a shower of petals.

"Farewell," Flora said as she curtsied.

"Tch, this is really unexpected. Lord Dyspear will not be pleased," Steal remarked as he opened a keyhole-shaped portal and left the scene.

There was a pleasant silence as Flora looked at her own hands.

"You did it-fura!" a talking cat ran towards Flora and jumped into her arms. "You purified the Zetsuborg-fura!"

"Ah... I was helped by someone..." Flora looked around to see Leon approaching her. "Thank you for your help."

"No need to mention it, Cure Flora," Leon replied, casually namedropping Flora's name.

The cat on Flora's arm glared at him. "Who are you-fura?! How do you know about Princess Precure-fura?!"

"Are you connected with the Dysdark?" Flora questioned but immediately shook her head. "No, I don't believe so. You helped me, after all. Thank you."

"There's one more thing you need to do, Flora. Open your Key and release the girl from the cage," Leon ordered.

Flora followed and inserted her key into the cage's lock, returning the essence of dream to Belle and releasing her from captive. Flora then put the unconscious Belle on the ground.

"Now then..." Flora mumbled as she looked at him. "May I have your name, Sir?"

Leon looked at her. Yeah, just from personality alone, she wasn't Haruno. He relaxed slightly.

"Leon fou Bartfort," he answered. "A pleasure to meet you, Cure Flora, the Princess of Flower."

Flora seemed to be thinking for a while before she closed her eyes and untransformed herself.

"Good afternoon, Leon. My name is Olivia," she greeted with a smile.

"Fura! Olivia, what are you thinking revealing yourself like that-fura?!" The talking cat shrieked.

"Leon is my classmate, and he helped me. I trust him. Besides, he looks like he knows things, Fragrance."

Leon was floored. Here in front of him was the protagonist of the otome game, Olivia. Olivia, who had just untransformed from Cure Flora. That meant Olivia was Cure Flora, right? Hold on. Since when was the protagonist of the otome game a Princess Precure like Haruno?!

He ended up massaging his temple to alleviate the forming headache. "Yeah, yeah, I'll answer some things. In exchange, I want to know how a Zetsuborg appears here in Holfort, of all places. Shall we have a tea party?"

"Yes," Olivia nodded.

Tea party. It was an activity that was encouraged in the Academy. The purpose was to get to know the other parties better, but since the crown prince was in his year, all the girls flocked to the prince's tea party and left all the other boys' tea parties barren. Leon had intended to host one tomorrow, but he decided to host one today instead, just for Olivia and Fragrance.

"Sorry, it's a little barren here," Leon presented two cups of tea he had brewed himself to Olivia and Fragrance. "I had intended to host one tomorrow, but I decided, why not now?"

Olivia shook her head, "It's okay, Leon. I understand."

Pouring one for himself, Leon took a seat and prompted. "So, before I explain things, I want to know what happened to Hope Kingdom. How is Dysdark here?"

Fragrance, who looked at him full of suspicions before, seemed to mellow a little when she sipped the tea. "...It's a magnificent tea. I lost..."

"Oi, answer my question first."

"Right-fura. Hope Kingdom has fallen to Dysdark's forces-fura," Fragrance started, failing to hold back her frown. "My Prince entrusted me with the Princess Perfumes and Dress Up Key and told me to find the Princess Precures-fura. The problem is that I honestly don't know anything besides the bare basic knowledge about the Princess Precure-fura. I'm just a newbie apprentice, and yet I'm the one that survived-fura..."

Right, so the situation was worse than it was before. Leon remembered that one of the Cure, Akagi Towa (he forgot her Cure name), was actually from the Hope Kingdom. There were survivors in the previous time. But now, it seemed that nobody survived, even Fragrance's prince. The situation looked bleak.

Leon sighed.

"Before I explain myself, I want to hear something from you, Olivia. Being a Princess Precure means you're responsible for thwarting Dysdark's attempt to encroach on this world. Are you prepared?"

After a few seconds, Olivia nodded. "Yes."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes," Olivia replied with more conviction this time. He didn't know what thought was running inside her head, but he would respect her decision.

"I see," Leon then stood up and offered a plate full of snacks for the two guests. "Then I'll begin my explanation. First, I remember memories from another time before humans could do magic, and all they could rely upon was technology."

Understandably, Olivia's expression turned into one of confusion. There was no way somebody would immediately accept the fact that he was a reincarnation, so he softened the blow by saying he remembered memories. This was really outside of his plan, telling anyone else about him being a reincarnation. But he moved forward, anyway.

"That wasn't the important part, though; I just want to give some backstory. In that memories, I attended a school called Noble Academy. It was a school not unlike Holfort Academy here. Truthfully, I didn't want to enter such a strict place. But my little sister in the memories wished to attend, so she persuaded me to attend first to know how it was there. If I recall correctly, she did not want to attend after knowing how hard it was, the little gremlin. All my effort went to waste," Leon clicked his tongue. "Anyway, when I was a second year there, unknowingly, I was saved by the Princess Precure."

Fragrance gasped at Leon's explanation while Olivia covered her mouth with her hand, eyes widening.

"I was left blind to the situation until Dyspear appeared and took hostage of our school. You see, the Princess Precures were actually students of my school. To drive them into despair, she attacked the city starting from Noble Academy. If it weren't for several miracles happening on top of each other, there was no denying that we'd lost."

Leon's mind was back on the memories of that time. How he got trapped in the despair limbo for the second time and clawed back outside after hearing Nanase's heartfelt plea. Unconsciously, Leon clenched his fist.

"Long story short, Dysdark was defeated, and peace came upon our world again. Hope Kingdom was restored by the effort of the royal siblings, Kanata and Towa, with the help of the Princess Precures."

Fragrance's eyes twinkled when he mentioned the royal siblings. He supposed the two would become a legend considering it happened millenniums ago.

"After that, we, as in the ones involved in the final battle, sought an explanation from the Princess Precures. They explained enough things to give context to the scene we saw. I, however, wanted to know more, so I personally asked some things to the one I knew the most; the previous Cure Flora. She was gracious enough to explain things in more detail to me," Leon finished his explanation with a sip of his tea. "So that's how I know about the Princess Precures. I was fortunate to have memories of their previous incarnation's struggle against Dysdark"

"...you know the previous Cure Flora?"

Leon nodded. "A cheerful and sincere girl with a dream to become a princess," he smiled at the onrushing memories of their small amounts of interactions.

"Heeeh, I'm sorry to disturb you, Senpai."

"Thank you, Senpai."

"Noble Academy is famous for being a prestigious school. Why did you enter this school if you're aimless, Senpai?"

"Is that so? Isn't it kind of a waste, Senpai?"

"Senpai, can you please help me?"

"What is your dream, Senpai?"

"That's a nice dream, Senpai."

"Senpai..."

"Senpai."

"Senpai!"

"Senpai?"

"Sen...pai?"

He didn't keep contact with Haruno once he entered high school, so he didn't know what had happened to her or the other Precures. He hoped they achieved their dreams.

"...does she have brown hair?" Olivia suddenly inquired. It instantly caught Leon's attention, breaking him out of his thought.

"You met her!?" Leon grabbed Olivia's shoulders.

"Y-Yes!" She squeaked. That made Leon aware of what he just did. He went back to his seat and avoided looking at the blonde girl in front of him.

"Um, excuse me."

"No, no, it's okay. I saw her when I first transformed, I think? Haruka Haruno, right?" Olivia sought confirmation.

Leon nodded, "Yes. So her spirit lingered inside those tools..."

"She is gone, I think. Before she dispersed, she said something about 'leaving the rest to senpai.' Do you know what's a 'senpai'?"

Hearing that question, Leon couldn't help it. He laughed uproariously. Leave it Haruno to inconvenience him even after thousands of years of passing. But well, he did owe her some things, as he said before, including saving the world.

Okay, Haruno. I accept.

"It means that she really is Haruno. Don't worry, Olivia. I'll help you. That's basically what Haruno asked me for."

"Thank you, Leon," Olivia clapped and smiled. Ugh, that smile was cheating. Being an otome game protagonist came with several perks, it seemed.

Once Olivia and Fragrance were gone, Leon poured another tea for himself. After taking a sip, he let out a sigh.

Is it wise to disclose your origin to the girl like that? Luxion asked him.

It should be fine. I never talk about the Otome Game, after all. Me telling her about being a reincarnation wouldn't affect the storyline. Leon replied before sighing again. What will definitely affect the storyline is her being a Princess Precure.

I found no data about the 'Princess Precure' and 'Dysdark,' Luxion stated.

That's because it is hidden from the masses.

I see... Not long after, the AI continued. I've never seen you being this proactive, disregarding the time you found me.

Putting the cup on the table, Leon looked at the ceiling of the room.

Haruno saved my life twice. If she wanted my help this time to guide Olivia, you bet I'm gonna do anything I can to help her.

Sounds like you were in love with this Haruno.

You're kidding me? She has too many suitors. Leon chuckled. My joining would've just broken my heart.

...Wait just a minute.

A normal girl entering an elite academy. In the process, she gained the trust of several important people (Kaidou was a textbook modern noble while Amanogawa was a celebrity) while attracting interest from multiple handsome guys (that tennis guy, that punk hawk from Dysdark, Prince Kanata, and him if he excluded being handsome to the criteria). It wasn't all smooth, as a villainess stood in her way (Akagi before being befriended). Nonetheless, she persevered and came out stronger than before.

Haruno Haruka's life was a straight fucking Shoujo Otome Game in real life! How could he have missed it the first time?!

Master?

Not now, Luxion. I'm having an existential crisis on whether my previous life is also an Otome Game or not.

...Huh?

A/N: Go! Princess Precure is the peak of anime. It has everything from awesome animation, fluid battle, fun characters, interesting exploration of simple story themes, kickass OST, and one of the greatest arc (Revived Princess) in Precure history. More people need to watch it.

Anyway, this story is born because GoPri actually has a thick shoujo influence, but did everything in the most shonen way possible. Leon's summary of Haruka's life was not incorrect. The plot follows shoujo manga/otome game tropes closely, and because of that, I want to cross it over with one of the otome isekai. My sight fell to Mobuseka for no reason, but once I made Leon a mob character in Precure, everything fits. OG Leon is a mob character, a second year in Noble Academy where the GoPri events happened. Fast forward and he died, reincarnated in the far future, when Dyspear come back and attack Hope Kingdom again for the eternal battle between Hope and Despair.

Leon: Ah shit, here we go again.

But this time he was not just a mob. He was the mentor!
