Hey there, everyone! This is an idea I got, that is kinda based off of Rihanna's song 'Russian Roulete' If you've heard it, you might understand this a little better. Also, this chapter is just a preview, and is actually part of the end of the story. So, yeah, here's the preface!

I couldn't see for the blindfold, nor could I scream for help because of this stupid gag. Where was I anyways? I sniffed the air, trying to get some type of scent that would help me, perhaps give a clue as to where I had been tied up.
Nothing. Not a single scent around.
I fought against the chains that held me to the chair, hoping with all of my might that they would break.
Nothing. Again.
"Tsk, tsk. Isabella, why do you waste your time trying to break them? Just face death. You know it's coming" a voice sounded from somewhere around the room. I jumped when I felt hands on my shoulders.
But the hands didn't try to kill me, didn't do anything. Then they moved again, to the blindfold. After a few moments, it fell to the floor. I blinked a few times as my eyes focused. My eyes met an ordinary human, whom was walking in silent circles around me.
Next, off came the gag, and as soon as it hit the floor, a few feet away from the blind fold, I asked, "Who are you?"
"My name is Matthew Volturi." he smirked. So they finally knew my secret...
"Why do you have me here?"
"Oh, young Isabella, I think you know exactly why I have you here."
I did, though i wished I didn't. Playing dumb might not be easy, seeing as I'm a horrible liar. I choose a different route - smart talk him. I might not be able to lie, but I sure have great snappy come-backs/
"So, what if I do? What are you going to do, talk me to death?" I asked, following his every move with my eyes.
"Nice try. I have my ways. Now, you can either die, or die. Take your pick." Damn bastard.
i pretended to think it over, but I soon found out he had made the decision for me. A cold gun was placed to my temple.
He pulled back the trigger.
