RWBY and Pokemon is owned by Rooster Teeth and Nintendo respectively
At an attic in a port town, a teenager enters it. He is holding a steel briefcase, looking at it in shame. He kisses it and places the briefcase down. He places a key on top of it. "I'm sorry guys but this is goodbye. The family will take care of you. Take care."
He walks away until he hears shouting. The former trainer turns to sees Lucario in spirit form. The Aura Pokemon is pleading for his trainer to not leave him and his friends. "Lu. Lucario!"
"I am sorry Lucario but I don't deserve to be your trainer. My sisters are better than I'll ever be. Tell them I'm sorry." And so he walks away, leaving his Pokemon for his family. Luciario's spirit cries and disappears. The teenager is crying but he still walks away. His flight to Vale is leaving soon.
(Five Months Later)
The Vytal Festival is going well so far. Team RWBY won against Team ABRN and people are excited for the Team JNPR vs Team BRNZ match. The victorious team is celebrating by having giant noodles, giant fish in Blake's case. Weiss gives her SDC card to the Shopkeeper though Blake is slurping on her fish before she pays for it. However the card latches next to her and they see that it is decline.
"What decline? But I barely used my allowance." Weiss wonders if she has been cut off. Blake tries to sneak a fish to her mouth but the Shopkeeper grabs all the bowls including her own, making her sad.
"Hello there!" Pyrrha comes out with her teammates Jaune, Nora and Ren. Jaune looks at his sad friends. "How about we pay for this?"
"Oh you don't have to." Ruby declines but Blake quickly gets in Ruby's face. "But he can!"
Jaune and his team sits and orders as well. They pay on their behalf with Jaune sitting next to Blake and she gives him a big hug. She blushes once she realizes what she is doing. Jaune feels embarrass and quietly eats with them. Unknown to the others, Team BRNZ are playing a goldfish vendor together and it is across from the noddle shop.
"Excuse me, are you Team BRNZ?" A beautiful woman in a white dress with wing-like shoulder pads comes to the Vacuo students.
"That is right. You're looking at the winners of this tournament." Nolan Porfirio gloats which have his teammates sigh. She looks at them and smiles.
"I would like to make a bet with you four." She said and pulls out a Pokeball. This confuses Team BRNZ but they are interested.
The crowd cheers as Team JNPR comes out for everyone in Amity Colosseum to see them. The match is about to start and Nora is ready.
"LET'S DO THIS!" Nora shouts and Ren has to calm her down. Pyrrha looks for Team BRNZ and notices they are not here.
"Jaune, what happen to them?" She whispers to her leader and he shrugs, not knowing a thing. Port and Oobleck are looking around the stadium. They don't know where Team BRNZ is and so Port tries to hype the match.
"Ah… This must be mind games Shade's best students are going against for Beacon's own JNPR." Port said while Oobleck is getting a call from Ozpin. What the headmaster says confuses the doctor but he announces the news to everyone.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Team BRNZ has forfeit and a new competitor is fighting in their stead." Doctor Oobleck declares and everyone is confuse, especially Team JNPR. Ruby points at the entrance to the arena.
"Guys look!"
Someone comes out and (J)NPR is confuse by the woman in a white dress shows herself. Blake, sitting with her team, can see Jaune thanks to her Faunus vision and notices he is… Sweating? As if he knows her. She waves at the crowd and Port announces this mysterious woman.
"Folks, this is the former Kalos champion: Diantha Arc!"
Now this makes the crowd more restless. A single competitor is going against a team? Most of them want their money back. However Team JNPR and RWBY are shocked by this woman's name. Jaune's team looks at their leader and seems to be scared. "S-sister? What are you doing here?"
"Hello brother. I miss you. Good to know you are safe and well. I have come to give you back your friends back." Diantha pulls out a steel briefcase and Jaune is sad once he sees it.
"Please Diantha, don't show me them. I don't deserve them." He pleads with her but she shakes her head. The arena changes the terrain to show a forest and mountain. The match begins as Professor Port counts down: "Three. Two. One. Fight!"
Nora gets angry seeing her leader appear scared of this stranger. "No one makes Fearless Leader cry and gets away with it!"
"Nora stop!" Jaune tries to make her cease but she still runs at Diantha. Ren runs after Nora to get her to slow down. Diantha throws a Pokeball and a humanoid white creature shape like a woman pops out.
"Gardevoir use Shadow Ball!"
"Gardevoir." The Embrace Pokemon creates a ball of darkness and launches it at Nora but she dodges out of the way. However because Ren was behind her, he couldn't see the ball and so he is hit by it instead.
"Ren!" Nora yells, seeing her best friend launch out of the ring.
"Lie Ren has been eliminated!"
"Nora, go up to mountain and get summon lightning." Jaune gives the Viking girl orders and she nods, preceding to run up the mountain. He then looks at Pyrrha. "Pyrrha, distract Diantha and Gardevoir."
"Very well Jaune." The Mistral champion takes out her spear and turns into a rifle. She fires rounds at Diantha, who nods at Gardevoir which she returns. The dust bullets stop in the air and drop to the ground. This makes Jaune's eyes widen as he realizes the move.
"Telekinesis. Okay Pyrrha you know what to do." Jaune said and Pyrrha throws her shield at Gardevoir.
"Reflect Gardevoir." Diantha said and a barrier hits the shield and it comes back to the Mistral Champion. She catches it and the sister of Jaune declares the next move.
"Shadow Ball!" Gardevoir launches a ball of darkness at the two. Jaune and Pyrrha raise their shields to block the ball however they are both sent flying and getting closer for a ring out. Pyrrha uses her semblance to stop Jaune's movement and he falls to the ground but she falls out of the ring.
"Pyrrha Nikos has been eliminated!"
No one can believe it. The Mistral Champion has been defeated by this mysterious woman. Diantha can't help but be impress. "Excellent Jaune. Your friends remind me of your team. You clearly trained them well. However they are not like the others. Don't think you can replace them with this Team JNPR."
Jaune gets up and sees Nora on top of the mountain. She gets zap by lightning, giving her muscles a boost. The sister of the former champion shakes his head at her words. "No! They are all my friends and I am not replacing anyone. Nora, bring down the hammer!"
Nora fires six grenades and they form into a heart. Diantha claps as they get closer. "Such majestic power. Gardevoir use reflect!"
Gardevoir creates a barrier and the grenades go back to Nora. Jaune tries to warn her. "Jump off the mountain Nora!"
But it is too late as the mountain is destroyed with a mighty pink explosion. Nora can seen dropping from the pink smoke and crashes down.
"Nora Valkyrie has been eliminated!"
"What in the world is going on?!" Weiss doesn't know what is happening. "How is she beating everyone?"
Blake is curious about the creature. "That creature is named Gardevoir. She seems a similar semblance to Professor Goodwitch. Please be safe Jaune."
"Oh trust me." A teenager in a blue jacket is sitting next to Team RWBY. "Gardevoir doesn't have an equal when it comes to her psychic powers. Diantha will win this."
"Oh yeah? Well I believe Jaune's got this." Ruby disagrees with this stranger and cheers for her fellow team leader. "You get her Jaune!"
The cat Faunus nods and gets up. "You can do it Jaune!"
The teenager looks at this team cheer for Jaune Arc and he smiles. 'You have good friends Jaune. I know you can beat her but you must reignite your passion for Pokémon.
Jaune finds himself alone with his sister and her psychic Pokémon. She holds up the steel briefcase for him to see. "Please brother. They want to be reunited with you. They miss you."
"I can't. They need a better trainer then me. I let them down." Jaune remembers his failure to protect them and so he gave them to his family so they can have a better trainer. Diantha doesn't care and throws the briefcase. The only Arc male is shocked by her action and catches it. "Why did you do that?!"
"Open it Jaune. I know you have a spare key." Diantha gives him a glare that basically says, 'Do it or else.'
Jaune pulls his necklace from his clothes to reveal a key attach to the necklace. He unlocks it to reveal two Pokeballs. This shocks and enrages him. "What have you done with the others?! The other four!"
"Why are you angry brother? You abandon them." Diantha said and Jaune grabs the Pokeballs. He feels the Aura coming from them. He can't help but remember when he had the love of Pokémon. When he got his first Pokémon.
"There you have it folks. Say hello to the reigning Kalos Champion: Diantha Arc!" The announcer shouts for all to hear as the victorious champion waves at her fans. Mostly at a small child that is jumping up and down.
Diantha is at her locker room, getting ready to go home when her little brother Jaune jumps at her and she hugs him. "Big sis, you won! You are the best!"
"Haha! Thank you Jaune, I couldn't have done it without Gardevoir. Oh! Speaking of that…" She pulls out a Pokeball and gives it to her brother. He looks at the Pokeball and throws, where a small blue turtle comes out.
"Squirtle! Squirtle!" The Tiny Turtle hugs the child. He picks him up and spins him around with them both cheering and laughing.
"Come out Blastoise!" Jaune throws the Pokeball and a giant turtle comes out with two cannons on his shell. He roars for everyone to hear. Jaune hugs his starter and he returns it.
"I'm sooo sorry Blastoise." He apologizes to the giant turtle for leaving him behind. Blastoise is happy to see his friend. Diantha smiles at her brother letting go and gives her a look of determination.
"Give me back my friends." Jaune orders his sister.
Diantha and Gardevoir stand against him and Blastoise. "I'll tell where the others are, if you can defeat me. Are you ready Gardevoir?"
"Gardevoir!" The Fairy Pokémon shouts, ready to fight. Jaune looks at Blastoise.
"Will you fight with me again?" Jaune ask his starter Pokémon and he roars as his twin cannons fire water in the air.
"Blastoise!"
"I'll take that as a yes!" The Arc brother said as he feels alive again. "Former Kalos Champion and Galar's Steel Gym Leader is back!"
Screaming is heard from the crowd and everyone turns to see a teenage girl with a green and white tam o' shanter hat standing from her seat.
"Fucking finally! I was getting a tad tired with your meek self! You better got a pair and fight!" The Galar Champion Gloria shouts at Jaune and he is shocked to see her. Someone that defeated him and was in fact the last person he fought in a Pokémon battle.
The Arc siblings are going against eachother and they are excited for this match.
Within the Headmaster's office, Ozpin is looking at the battle about to start. He can't help but reminisce of his Pokémon adventure when he was reincarnated outside of Remnant. 'To think I would see Pokémon once again. Those adventures were the happiest of my lives. I miss you Klinklang.'
His thoughts are broken once Ironwood enter with an agitated look. He takes his scroll out and shows a video of Diantha and Gardevoir defeating Team BRNZ. "Ozpin, why did you order me to not arrest that Diantha? She harmed Team BRNZ and took their place!"
"Now now James. She challenge them for their spot in the tournament and defeated them. This is acceptable and allowed."
"What are these creatures? They must be some form of Grimm!" Ironwood's paranoia is showing and Ozpin does his best to appease him.
"Trust me Ironwood, they are not Grimm. They are called Pokémon and they will protect their trainers if you try to harm them."
The General of Atlas is calming down but is confused. "How do you know these creatures?"
Headmaster Ozpin doesn't answer and simply watches the battle, waiting for one of the Arc siblings to make the first move.
