Takuya leaned back in his seat with a quiet sigh, listening to the rumble of the train over the tracks. After their initial introductions, the four occupants of the train car had subsided into silence, each wrapped up in their own thoughts. Takuya found his mind wandering to the strange long-haired boy from earlier. From the moment he'd first seen him, he'd felt strangely drawn to the boy. He'd followed him, even though he'd had no real reason to, except for the vague suspicion that the boy had received the same strange text message as him. All his attempts at conversation had fallen flat. It was clear the boy had no interest in talking to him. At that point Takuya should have just written the whole encounter off and forgotten about it. But there was just something about that boy... Something he couldn't quite put his finger on. Who was he?
Takuya shook the thoughts away. He was overthinking this, and anyway, there were more important things to think about. Like, who sent him that weird message? And where was this train even going? As he turned his mind to other matters, he spared one last thought towards the boy. Will I ever see him again?
