Sitting on her desk looking outside, Regina was more than happy over this five minutes of silence. It had something peaceful the autumn in Maine, she thought to herself. For a strange reason, she felt like dressing up today. She smiled while thinking about the story of the blouse, she really had liked it on Emma, but since she had given it back, whenever Regina would wear it she would feel, different, at least to say. The black high heals, would fit her legs perfectly, it was a perfect combination with the skinny black trousers that would make her round curves look stunning.

It wouldn't be an other minute, hearing loud footsteps going towards her office. There was only one person that would walk like that and still be able with a simple gesture to warm her heart. More than that, but for so many reasons, neither Regina or Emma would change something about the status quo.

She only could roll her eyes thinking that of all of the people Emma would have chosen this filth of a men to be her partner. But it was long ago that Regina decided that, there was no road that would lead them somewhere.

The door opened and Emma walked in head down, voice low. She looked like always, this red leather jacket would probably follow her to her grave, Regina thought. Regina really tried hard to see her face and she could bearly understand the blond beauty.

'Emma dear, be kind and speak up. I can bearly hear you and it's getting annoying.'

At the second Regina ended the sentence, Emma began to break down, crying. She was more than crying, she was trembling. It too Regina but a minute to stand up and place herself on the side of Emma holding her.

'I am here, please, please Emma stop crying. Tell me what's going on?'

Regina was desperate, she never had seen Emma in such manner. Never had Emma presented herself, weak and vulnerable in front of her.

Lifting up her head, looking at Regina, Emma could see the change of expression on Regina's face. From surprised to deadly angry, Regina hugged her even harder, not letting her go.

'I know exactly whom I have to kill, yet still I need you to confirm. Did 'Gayliner' did this to you?'

'He, he did. I was, am still so shocked.' Emma trailed of with her thoughts leaving a more angry and slightly desperate Regina behind.

'We have to bring you to the hospital, this is out of any kind of discussion. Once I know you are alright, I will have a 'talk' with your fiancee.'

'Ex-fiancee, I could never trust him again.' Regina wasn't used to such a cold, emotionless voice. Now Emma made her truly worry.

'Good, I am informing your parents, with Henry we will talk later. Can you stand, darling?'

'Darling?' Emma replied with a confused voice. She never thought that Regina would call her anything like that, the moment was long gone that she had hoped for more.

'Answer the question Ms. Swan!'

'Oh ok, for a moment I was worried that he had punched you in the face.'

Regina's eyes went nearly dark, she really had to put all her strength together not to teleport herself to the location of this mice of a men and finish him right than and there.

'I will transport us I think it's faster, hold on.'

'Bossy as ever, Madam Mayor. Oh come on don't look like that, I am only trying to, cheer you up.'

Regina was, astonished, at least to say, such a moment and Emma thought that she needed to cheer her up?!

'Hold on.'

A purple smoke covered them both, bringing them straight into Dr. Wahles office. The surprise having suddenly Emma and Regina in his office, was more than clear on his face.

'Regina, Emma? How? What?' A very surprised voice would try to find some answers, poor Whale.

'Listen, the pirate, he. He, he hit Emma and I want you to run every check, every exam that you deam right. I want to know every detail!'

'As what?' Whale said back with a stirn voice.

'I back your pardon?' Regina started to get annoyed with this attitude that the Doctor would have towards her.

'Listen Regina, as far as I can see Emma was attacked. You can be sure that, we will do for our Sheriff whatever is in our power. But I still do not see, why I would have to report any of this to you. And when I said 'as what', I ment that through Hospital regulations I can only report to family first grade or and fiancee and spouse's.'

Regina looked caught of guard, there was little she could say back. And than something happened none was expecting, Regina's eyes started to fill with tears.

For Emma it was to much she had gone through some shit today, but seeing Regina like this was more than she could bear.

'Don't be such an Ass Whale, if you desperately need a status quo, than I am telling you you are speaking with my fiancee!'

Now both looked shocked Regina slightly more than Whale.
