Author's Notes: That was nice!!! anyway, back to the story...
Full House
Day Delights
Mimi groaned in impatience. Another set of fireworks went off the sky as TK and Hikari cheered. Can these two get any cornier?! She looked at her watch. She was really getting sleepy. They were waiting for Hikari's brother. I wonder what that rock star's doing…
"Hey guys!" out of nowhere, someone greeted, it was masculine and playful. Mimi looked at her back to see a handsome man with brown hair and kohl eyes. Yagami Taichi was wearing a shirt with a T on it and an exploding graphic behind. He wore jeans and a pair of Chuck Taylors. And this is the executive of Zen-Kei Records.
"Onii-san!" Hikari enveloped her arms around her brother as he welcomed it.
"Hi Tai!" TK greeted with a smile. He smiled back.
"Hey Teeks!" Taichi's eyes then hovered over the woman next to him. He grinned. HAWT!!!!
"Oh, and who is this young, beautiful lady?" he asked with a mischievous smile.
"She's Tachikawa Mimi, the one Yamato's living with now!!!" Takeru replied. Taichi smiled as he sat beside Mimi. Mimi looked up to see who it was. This guy is a CEO?!
"Hey Ms. Tachikawa! I'm sorry for setting you up with Yamato!" he apologized with a look. Mimi couldn't help but to smile, she tried to hide it.
"Forgiven…" she managed to say.
The music began to play, as couples stood up from their tables and danced. Takeru and Hikari joined the floor, leaving the table for Taichi and Mimi. Taichi couldn't help but to wonder his eyes on Mimi's face. She noticed him eyeing her intently, this made her awkward.
"I shouldn't have gotten that contract…" he mumbled. Mimi somewhat heard him, shocked.
"Gomen, iu nani deshite ka?" she asked. (Sorry, what did you say?) Taichi looked up to her and flashed an apologetic smile. "Iie…nanimo…" he replied.
"So, how's your first day with Yamato?" he asked with so much curiosity. Mimi cocked a brow and rolled her eyes.
"Yamato-bakero. He thinks I'm like other girls who will drool over his feet…" she answered as Tai chuckled.
"Is Yamato really that annoying?" he asked although he already knew that it was true, he is Yamato's best friend after all.
Mimi couldn't help but to smile at his charm. They talked casually as they became friends.
"C'mon Yamato, I don't think she's that bad!!!" Sora insisted. Yamato had this piss off look on his face. "She's so annoying!!! I wonder what had gotten into Taichi's big bushy head!" He exclaimed. Sora shook her head with a laugh and popped a shrimp on her mouth. They watched a set of fireworks fade above them.
"Yamato… is she really…that bad…?" she repeated. Yamato noticed her voice with seriousness. He looked at her with a blank expression.
"No she's not…" he answered. That was the truth. However, he couldn't help but to feel a bit angry at Mimi. He saw her doodle. Was he really that bad?
"No she's not…she maybe juvenile like, but once you get in a serious talk with her…that's when I say I like her." He confessed.
"Like her as in what?" Sora hesitantly asked.
"Friend. That's really all." He sincerely said. It is true.
"If she considers ourselves as friends, anyway." He added nonchalantly.
This successfully convinced Takenouchi Sora. She just smiled.
"Sou desu ka…" (Pronounced as 'so ka', meaning 'I see')
"Yamato said you were the one who bought the last house as Tankei…" he reminded. Mimi nodded with proud on her face.
"Hai…demo, while I was fixing my stuff, Yamato-baka knocked on my door and that's when kami finally told me I wasn't destined to live at Tankei!!!" she dramatized.
"I think kami told you that you weren't destined to live at Tankei alone!!!" Taichi revised with a laugh. She giggled and looked at him.
His face then turned into seriousness, his eyes on her in such trance.
"Oh! Hey, can I get your number?" she asked. Tai grinned as he took out his CP (cell phone) out of his pocket.
"Sure, as long as I get yours too!" he kidded. She laughed and took out her CP.
"Okay, here's my number…0922…" Mimi notified as Tai keyed in her number in his mobile. He finished it and put an asterisk on Mimi's name.
(In Tai's phone, putting an asterisk on someone's name means important)
"Thanks…I'll text you…" Tai keyed a message to Mimi and sent it on her number. A little while, Mimi's phone rang with a new message. She keyed in and read his message.

U'r kawaii…honto.
She reddened and looked at him. Taichi laughed as he saw her reaction. "KAWAII!!!" he praised. Mimi saved his number and keyed in his name in all caps. TAI-KUN.
She put on revenged, keyed in and sent it to Tai. Four seconds later, he received it and read it.

I think u'r hawt.
Now it was Tai's turn to blush. He naughtily smiled at her.
"Kimi ga yugi soccer-u?" she asked. (do you play soccer?)
"Do I? I love soccer!!!" Tai exclaimed. Her eyes sparkled.
"Mou ore wa suki soccer-u!!!" ( I love soccer too!)
An hour later, the TK and Kari went home, as it was a right time for now to rest. Taichi insisted Mimi to bring her home. She couldn't refuse, she agreed.
Tai parked out his silver car. He went out and opened the door for Mimi. She thanked him for the ride as she stood in place at the front of their house.
"When do you think I'll see you again?" he asked. She was completely stunned, but she had a great time with him.
"I don't know…" she answered. Taichi looked at her for a while as a light bulb appeared on top of his head.
"There will be an anniversary party this Saturday at the Jigoku ka Tengoku Reservoir. Yamato would be there, but…would you come with me?" he offered. She couldn't resist, she instantly nodded her head. Tai grinned at her approval as he went in the car.
"Oyasumi, Mi-chan!!!" he greeted as he started the engine and left.
She could feel her cheeks burning as she opened the door and entered the house.
Yamato's not home yet… She looked at her watch. It was quarter to midnight and Yamato still hasn't come back.
She sat on the couch. She kept on eyeing on the clock. The phone next to her rang. She answered it.
"Moshi moshi…" she lazily answered.
"Hey Mimi…it's Yamato," the voice said. She then alerted.
"I see you're home, well anyway, I don't know what time I'll come back, Sora's still having fun with herself lately…don't wait for me, okay? Ja." After his brief call, Mimi sighed. She was sleepy and tired at the same time. But she still waited for him.
It was already midnight and still he hasn't come back. She fell asleep all the sudden as she lie her head on the couch.
A black convertible entered the garage. Yamato went out of it as he entered a door to the kitchen. Lights are still on? He wondered himself why the lights are still open. He went to the family room, seeing Mimi had fallen asleep without changing her dress. He bit his lip. I told her she shouldn't have waited for me… He knelt down to her figure and gently put his hand on her cheek.
"Nah…I can't wake her up…" he said to himself. He carried her on his arms as he went upstairs to her room, and laid her to her bed. He covered her with a blanket and fluffed a pillow up. He put it under her head and closed the lights.
"Oyasumi…" he muttered and closed the door.
The following morning, Mimi, in such surprise woke up in a very early time. She looked at her wall clock; it was six in the morning of April 22nd. I wonder how did I get here…must've been me sleep walking again! She rose up as she went inside her bathroom to bathe herself. After she groomed, she went downstairs then to the kitchen to prepare some breakfast.
"Jikan Yamato kitashite nani desu ka …" (What time did Yamato come?) she asked herself as she looked for something to cook in the cupboards. She cooked a wide bowl of rice and put some chopped vegetables on top. Hm….what else… Mimi then took out a small sack of flour to make some strawberry pancakes. She opened the refrigerator and took out a maple syrup, some eggs, macadamia and crushed strawberries. She mixed them and cooked it.
She placed two pancakes on each plate and drew a happy face with chocolate syrup. After that, Mimi wondered what to drink for breakfast. She went for green tea. Looking at the clock, it was seven.
She arranged the table setting and after she was done, Mimi wore a proud look on her face. Now if only Yamato would wake up…I guess a little wake up call won't hurt the noisy rockstar!!! She skipped on her way upstairs and knocked on his room. "Yamato!!! Breakfast is ready!!! I made it myself and-" however, she was cut off when the door was already open, revealing Yamato, who just finished taking a bath and clothing himself.
He just smiled. "You made breakfast?" he asked. She nodded triumphantly. He went out of his room and went downstairs with her. He went to the dining room, his eyes staring hungrily at the food.
"Are you sure you made this?" he asked doubtfully. She playfully punched him on the arm. "You're so mean!" Yamato had an idea. He turned to Mimi. "Let's eat outside." He suggested. Mimi was shocked and at the same time sad. "I prepared breakfast and now you want to eat outside?!" she demanded. He shook his head, which made Mimi even more dazed.
"Let's eat outside at the garden." He said, as he took his and her plate and went outside. Mimi made an "oh" and took the teapot and their cups with a tray and followed his way.
When Mimi reached outside, she was awed at the sight. There were two metallic silver seats and a glass-made roundtable good for two and a panorama of the soccer field. She remembered Taichi. Yamato then went back to get their rice.
Yamato placed their bowls on the table and sat on the chair. He looked at their plates with their names on it. He weirdly smiled. "Why does our food tagged with our names?" he asked, he noticed that he got the wrong pancake, because Mimi's name is written on it with chocolate syrup.
"Shiru dame desu." She answered absentmindedly. (I don't know)
"Ittekimasu!" she said.
"Ittekimasu!" he said back. They firstly ate their rice.
"I told you not to wait for me." He suddenly said. She looked at him intently.
"I went inside the house with you sleeping at the couch." She blushed at the thought of Yamato carrying her to her room. She quickly shook it away.
"Next time, don't wait for me. And sleep at your room." He said with a stern voice as he put a spoonful of rice on his mouth.
"So, how was your night?" she asked, changing the subject. He looked at the soccer field.
"It was okay, as usual. Sora got drunk though." He said. He noticed Mimi giving him the look.
"No I did not do that!!!" he said defensively as he put his hands on the air. She giggled at his face.
"Okay, okay…so, who is Sora?" she asked in curiosity.
"Sora's my designer for my clothes. She's also a friend of mine. But I think…that's all. Why, jealous?" he naughtily asked. She shook her head.
"You think I'm-" Mimi was cut off by Yamato.
"One of your fans who would drool over your feet. Woah what a line." He quoted Mimi's famous line sarcastically.
She glowered at him.
"What does she look like?" she asked nonchalantly. Yamato took out his wallet and opened it for her, revealing Sora' picture. He didn't want to let Mimi see that he nicked her photo!
Mimi eyed on it. She sincerely smiled. What Mimi liked most on Sora was her nose.
"Kirei na!!!!" she cheered. (Beautiful!)
"I won't mind you two being married!!!" she added. Yamato glared at her.
He just sighed in defeat.
"Okay…I like her…but…I'm not getting on the verge to love and all the corniest fluff in the world." He saids. Mimi just kept her cheeky smile at him.
Yamato awkwardly smiled back. "So, what about your night?" he asked.
"Well, Takeru, Hikari and I went to the seashore. I met Hikki's brother there. His name is Taichi, he's very nice, funny and kawaii. I didn't know he's the CEO!!!" she narrated.
"Kimi ga suki kare o ka?" he asked. (Do you like him?) It wasn't as if he was jealous, it was just a matter of his curiosity and cockiness of being great.
"I don't know…he's really nice and fun to be with…and not to mention, HAWT!!!" she said with a daydreaming gaze. Yamato saw her expression and forced a smile. It was just the thought of someone being greater than him, not that he loved Mimi. He thought about it. Do I even love Mimi? Truthfully, no.
She took out a spoonful of her pancake, and so did he. They went silent until there was no more to eat.
"You're going out somewhere?" he asked, changing the subject.
"Yeah, I'm going to the preschool…" she blandly asked. Then she looked at him.
"Why, you're going out?" she asked. He shook his head.
"You want to go somewhere?" he offered. She anxiously looked at him.
"It depends on the place," she answered.
"Oh, I don't know, at the mall? Watch movies and stuff…" it sounded like he was asking her out. It's just so we can get to know each other!!!
"With whom?" she asked, getting very uncomfortable of his actions.
"You and me." He replied. She nodded, although, she was hesitating. This…is something new…
He then turned to smile at her. "I hope you don't think that I like you as if I love you," he explained casually. She shook her head. "You just shocked me because you're kinder today." She retorted. He laughed.
"I guess, to avoid being enemies and problems under the same roof, we should be at least, friends." He suggested. She nodded in agreement. "Tashika na." (Sure)
Yamato then stood up with their dishes on his hands. "I'll wash the dishes up, you get dressed." He told her.
She confusedly looked at him. "But I'm going to Central Tokyo…" she said. But he smiled at her. "Don't worry, I'll go with you." It caught her off guard. She softly blushed and coyly smiled and went upstairs.
She went inside her room and changed her clothes. She was wearing a pink shift dress with two inches above her knee and a pair of white sandals. She didn't tie her hair today. She wasn't wearing any make up either. Her lips were pink enough and her skin was absolutely flawless.
She went downstairs, to see Yamato was already dressed up. She blinked at him. "That was fast…" she complimented. He rolled his eyes. "C'mon let's go, I already locked the house." He said as he went to the backdoor that leads to the garage. She followed him. He opened the car door for Mimi to seat in the passenger seat and closed it. He went inside as well and started the engine... they left Tankei Meiji Garden.
"Yamato…don't you think people will wonder why you're with me?" she told him. He rolled his eyes. "I'm used to it anyway. Besides, sooner the media will find out that I'm engaged with Tachikawa Mimi." He explained. Mimi just sighed and looked at the window.
"It's only a married contract, right?" she hopefully asked, eyeing on her finger, enclosed with a 46 diamond-karat silver ring. He nodded.
"I just hope…we can figure a way of getting ourselves out…or…even if I hate to say it…" he suddenly trailed off as an undesired thought came across him. Mimi waited for him to say it.
"Even if I hate to say it, to fall in love with each other. Hopefully not." He said, mumbling the last line. Mimi nodded in agreement. Hopefully not.
"Where is the preschool you're working at anyway?" he asked. "It's in Central Tokyo, near Minato, Famikatte Naru Academy, private one. It has preschool, elementary and middle school." She answered.
"Famikatte? I used to go there when I was a kid." He said with a laugh as if it was a coincidence.
She just smiled.
"So, what do you do there?" he asked, he knew it already though.
"Pre-K teacher." She answered nonchalantly.
"How much do they pay you?" he asked. Mimi glared at him, it seemed mocking. He nervously looked at her.
"I'm sorry; I didn't mean it to be that way. You can't answer if you don't want me to know it." he told her, just to relax.
Mimi smiled as she looked outside the window.
"I like Peter Pan," out of the blue, she said. Yamato held his laughter.
"Really?"
"Hai. I know your insides are laughing, but it's not that I'm still childish you know," Yamato rolled his eyes. How would he believe that? You're still childish to me. "I just really like the story, and the ending wasn't really a happy one either. For me, I guess." Mimi said hesitantly.
"Okay…have you watched the play before?" he asked.
"Several times, Yamato!!! I even went to New York because there's going to be a huge play!!! I just have to watch it!" she exclaimed joyously. Yamato didn't show he was shocked, but he was really stunned hearing that.
"Ah…" truly he was speechless. Mimi is the weirdest girl he ever known.
After driving for minutes, they reached Famikatte Naru Academy as Yamato parked the car on the parking lot. Without waiting Yamato to courteously open the door, Mimi went out of the car as she carried a paper bag and swiftly went to the building.
"Matte!!!" Yamato followed her as he ran. (Wait!)
Mimi went two stairs up, Yamato trying to keep on track. Without waiting for him, she opened the first room of the floor and entered.
"Ohayou minna-san!!!" she greeted with a smile.
Kids on the age of six filled the room, as toys, storybooks and picture books packed the colorful shelves.
"Ohayou gozaimasu Mimi-san!" They greeted back. A little boy approached Mimi, with tears in his eyes. "Mimi-san, Mamoko took my glasses!" he moaned as he hugged her leg and glared at the girl in silver ribbon ties.
Mimi sternly looked at Mamoko. "Mamoko, you know that's wrong, right?" she said as she approached her and knelt down to her. She shyly nodded. Mimi apologetically smiled. "Say sorry to Junpei and you go to the Bad Kid Corner for half an hour." She instructed as she pointed to a corner with a sign, "Bad Kid Corner" and a seat. Mamoko obediently went to the corner.
Mimi then smiled as she drew three circles in different colors. The first one is red, then yellow, finally, green.
"Okay, can anyone tell me what red means in a stoplight?" she asked. Two kids raised their hands. Mimi was about to call someone when the door suddenly burst out open, Yamato was breathing heavily as he glared at Mimi. Everyone, including Mimi, looked at him.
"Mimi you-" he was about to say something, but Mimi cut her off.
"Oh, and kids, I'm sorry to forget but we have a visitor today! This is my dear friend Ishida Yamato!" she introduced with an innocent smile. Yamato just went speechless as the kids greeted him.
"Okay minna, why don't you do whatever you want for the rest of the day? Playtime???" she said with an excited voice. The room erupted with cheer as the children went straight ahead to the toys corner. "No fighting, minna!" she reminded them as she sat on her chair and glared at Yamato.
He took a seat beside her and watched every kid play.
"You deal with these rascals?" he sarcastically asked. She glared at him.
"Hey, you were once a kid." She retorted.
"They're so…genki…" he described.
"It's not like you're genki when you were a child," she said. Yamato shook his head.
"I was not genki when I was a child, though." He said. She weirdly looked at him.
"Why?" she asked.
"I don't have friends that much. I only have Sora and Taichi. Though, I reckoned those two would end up together though." He informed.
Mimi frowned at him.
"I think Sora would be better off with you…" she commented. He sighed.
"You just hate the fact they're better together than you and Taichi combined…" he said. She cocked a brow in his annoying attitude. She playfully punched him in the arm.
"Hehe…you're just jealous!" he teased.
"Ha! I'm beginning to think you're just jealous because Tai-kun and I are better together!" she retorted. Yamato rolled his eyes.
"In your dreams!" he exclaimed.
"Wah!!!! You're so mean!!!" she snapped. Yamato laughed.
"You think you're so hot that you think I'll drool over your feet!" Ah…and there's the famous Mimi line.
"You really love those colorful words for the wise of yours, dontcha!?" he teased.
"Oh shut up!"
