Summary- Sasuke is now a little bit older and starts to see that he's an Uchiha and has to keep their clan alive, as does his older brother Itachi. Following after his older brother, Itachi get's a sense of what his real younger brother is. How far can Itachi last until Sasuke completely pushes him off the edge?

"Itachi, Itachi, Itachi, Itachi, Itachi, Itachi, Itachi!" snapping his attention to his younger brother his eight year old runs into his legs and clings on so he won't fall,
"What is it Sasuke!" Itachi hisses, Sasuke whimpers and whispers.
"I don't like going into town when it's dark," Itachi growled and shakes his brother off his right leg.
"Snap out of it and hurry up, or Father will be angry." Sasuke shutters from the thought of his father sighing in disappointment and punishing them. Well more like punishing Sasuke than Itachi, who was the perfect son out of the family?
'Darn you Itachi, why can't father notice me for once in my life, I'm only eight, I can't give that much. But you…oh no, you can give a lot more. More than father ever could have wish for," Sasuke hurries to catch up with Itachi and mutters,
"Why does Father want so much from me, when he knows I'm too little to give him what he wants?" Itachi slows his pace a fraction but keeps a good one, making Sasuke pant to catch up still.
"Sasuke, the reason father wants us to show more, is because he wants to brag how he has two young yet strong boys that could out beat the other boys, but when your slacking like this-" Itachi points at him, "we'll never make him proud," Sasuke groans and runs faster.
-Itachi Pov-
I turn a corner and stand in front of a door; I perform the sign of an Uchiha that approaches. Sasuke stands at my side and I couldn't hold back the urge to run my fingers through his hair, but the sound of opening of a door, catches my attention back to our task.
"Who is it?" and raspy voice hisses at my brother and I, I growl in a warning tone and the voice snaps to attention, "Uchiha Itachi ," the door opens wider and allows us to enter. Taking a step forward I spread out an arm stopping Sasuke in his tracks.
"Stay." and we leave him in the dark…alone.
-Sasuke Pov-
I silently took a seat on the step and hug my legs. I was terrified of being by myself, I never was left by myself, and mother was determined to keep me by her side at all times. If it weren't for the fact that Father and Itachi pulled me away from her I wouldn't be here right now. Now I wish I had stayed with her,
Trembling I wait for my older brother come back for me.
10 minutes go by…
"'Tachi," I murmur,
-Itachi Pov-
"Hn, stupid baka." Walking home was silent, I couldn't wrap my mind around it, why was…
Oh crap…
"SASUKE!"
-Sasuke Pov-
"Where are you 'Tachi," I shudder against the cool breeze, that's when I hear it,
"Sasuke, Sasuke where are you, come here now!" I turn my attention to the voice and get up running for whoever was shouting my name. Running smack dab into my older brother Itachi.
"Itachi," I sigh and hook my small arms around his leg and does not let go of him.
"Come on little brother, lets…go home." Lifting me up onto his back I lock my arms around his neck now and sigh.
"What took you so long?" Itachi looks up at me and says,
"Things,"
