Disclaimer: I Do Not Own -Man or Allen Walker. But I do own Eva.

His boots crunched underneath him as he walked in the newly fallen snow. The moonlight made the snow sparkle like diamonds. He sighed in contentment. Everything was so peaceful and quiet.

Usually everything was noisy and chaotic with Komui releasing his robots, with inventions going amuck. It was especially noisy in the cafeteria when everyone was in there. It was hard to get peace and quiet. This was one of those moments he wouldn't take for granted.

That was when he saw her standing under a tree. One small hand placed lightly on the bark. She gazed up at the moon.

Allen drew closer to her. She heard his footsteps and turned around with a smile on her face. Allen came up to stand next to her.

"It's beautiful." Allen said.

"It is. You know it's very quiet out here." Eva said.

"I like it."

"You should."

"How so?"

Eva giggled. "With you and Kanda bickering all the time it's never quiet."

Allen's face darkened at the mention of Kanda's name. This in response caused Eva to giggle some more. Allen snapped out of it and listened to Eva. Her laughter was enough to make him forget about all the crap he had to go through daily, enough to forget about all of his problems and just make him smile. Allen truly appreciated these moments for they were scarce.

Just like how the snow will melt in the morning her laughter will melt his heart.
