Blind Destiny

Destiny Islands, those were the blissful days. Neither Sora nor Riku would ever forget how wonderful those days were. They were carefree they could be together as long as they kept it hidden from Kairi because she would tell on them for sure. They had just wanted some place better. Some place where they didn't have to hide their feelings from anybody. If they had known how much trouble was about to befall them they would have counted their blessings then, before they were torn apart forever… or at least what felt like forever.

Riku walked through the streets of the World That Never Was, blindfold on. He had been hallucinating lately. He kept hearing Sora's voice everywhere. "I must be going crazy." He thought to himself.

"Riku!" Sora's voice called.

"Not again." Riku thought. "Just keep walking."

"Riku! Is that really you! I've been looking for you everywhere! I went to all kinds of worlds and … Hey wait! Where are you going! Riku! Why are you ignoring me!" The voice came again but this time Riku felt a hand against his shoulder; a hand smaller than his own but still strong. Riku spun around sword in hand.

"Who's there!" Riku yelled probably to no one.

"Riku, it's me Sora! Don't tell me you forgot about me! I know you didn't! Come on Riku talk to me!" Sora yelled.

"Gowrsh, Sora I don't think he remembers you." Goofy said.

"Well, even if he doesn't remember me he'll remember this!" Sora exclaimed. Suddenly Riku felt a set of arms wrapped around him, then hands pulling up his mask. Riku saw for the first time in months and the first thing he saw was Sora in his arms, tears in his eyes.

"So it's truly you this time." Riku smiled.

"Yes, Riku, do you remember me this time?" Sora laughed.

"How could I forget." Riku sighed kissing Sora's hair. "And I won't let you go this time." Riku laughed as he picked Sora up and carried him off never to let him go again.
