A/N: Good to be back on writing. I really had missed it. I had an awful writer's block and I still can't get what to write for the next chapters of my two other stories but my inspiration for Queer As Folk has returned. Here's a one-shot about the whole bashing incident and the thoughts of Brian and Justin. Hope you'll enjoy.
Disclaimer: I do not own Queer As Folk or its characters, I really wish I did though, because it would have been great to own Justin and Brian, especially Justin. =D
CRASHING WORLDS
It was as though his whole world was crashing in front of his eyes. Just minutes ago he was dancing with the love of his life and now he was trying to win an already lost battle. Why was he even trying to fight? What would he have after this incident? Because of Brian. You can't leave him. a voice said in his mind. Although it was hard to believe that voice, he knew it was true, he knew he couldn't leave Brian there, not after what happened. As he began to lose his consciousness, he stopped hearing Brian's lovely voice and there was nothing but blackness.
Brian Kinney never thought he would see a day that he would lose all his control and cry for someone else. But he also never thought of falling in love mindlessly. It was all new to him and he couldn't understand why this particular blue-eyed boy made him feel like this. As the doctors got his lover, not his lover his trick, he also began to fall in blackness.
At the same time, Michael Novotny was thinking how strange it was to see his best friend like this. The Brian he knew for almost twenty years was acting like him. Brian Kinney did not attach himself to a trick. No, he certainly did not. However, this particular trick made Brian get all shook up. He was actually crying on his shoulder for Justin, sitting in the corridor of a hospital, feeling helpless and hopeless. At first he saw Justin as a threat but now he was slowly seeing the improvement. It was really good to see that his friend actually had feelings on this particular subject. He just wished to God, don't let anything happen to Justin, Brian can't take it, he won't be able to handle it and it will only worsen the state of his feelings.
After a month Michael's preys were accepted and Justin was awake for the first time and he was safe and sound, except for the fact that he couldn't remember the prom or what had happened to him. When he woke up, he couldn't see Brian, he wasn't there. He thought it was devastating when he heard he had been in a coma and his brain was damaged but the fact his lover was not there for him at this particular moment was more devastating. His world was almost crashed.
Author's Note: Thanks for reading, guys. And please review because this is my first story on Queer As Folk and to improve my writing on this show I really need your advice. Tell me how you feel, loved it? Hated it? Thanks already.
