Chapter 2
Adam pulls away again.
''okay I should really get up and get showered and dressed.'' he tells her
''mmm nooo why?'' she whines questioning him
''because you want to go and get coffee at Luke's?'' he asks her
''mmm why?'' she whines trying to kiss him again ''you already have coffee here.'' she tells him
''I know but you love going to Luke's and I don't want to screw up your thing.'' he tells her
''my thing?'' she asks him
Adam just rolls his eyes ''ugh your morning routine or schedule or whatever you call it.'' he tells her
''I don't have a schedule or routine and we're married now you can just drink the coffee that I made you here.'' she tells him
''but you want to go to Luke's.'' he tells her
Lorelai just shakes her head ''no I don't I just want to spend time with my husband right here in our bed.'' she tells him and leans down and kisses him again
Adam just gives into what she wants and kisses her back running his hands up and down her back softly.
Adam thinks ''ah I get it.'' he says
''get what?'' she questions him
''get why you don't want to go to Luke's because he doesn't know and he will get jelous.'' Adam says
''no.'' she says and shakes her head ''that's not the reason and he knows we got married.'' she tells him
''then what is the reason?'' he asks her
''because I'm just not up for everyone in town coming up to us just yet. I just want to spend time with you right here in the privacy of our own home right now.'' she tells him
''okay whatever you want.'' he tells her
''thank you.'' she says and goes back to kissing him
