Chapter Two

Bloom arched her brow as she gawked at the sobbing blonde with a nose that could put a particular reindeer to shame and back to the space-out hippie that was biting her nails down to the nub. "Our ratings? What about our ratings? Last I checked they were alright…not NCIS fantastic, but decent for a Nick show." She placed her hands on her hips, as she waited for one of the emotional messes of actresses to pull their act together long enough to explain.

Flora let out a snort as she took of her wig and played around with her short, asymmetrical black hair. "Yeah it's great that we are neck-and-neck with dear old sponge-head." Automatically this made Tecna and Stella sob more, prompting Bloom to shout Flora a 'thanks-a-lot-now-look-what-you-did' look. "Don't be a hater Bloomie, after all this is basically 'The Bloom Show'."

Bloom's eyes widened and her hands made themselves into fist as the bottle ginger lunged forward towards her co-star, "Watch it! You know that I tried to walk after we wrapped season four, don't go there."

Flora shrugged, "Not my fault you only have a middle-school education and didn't think to read the fine print of your contract."

Bloom slapped herself in the face, she did have a point there. Back a few years ago when she was asked to return to the series she was too excited to even think to read the fine print- a mistake on so many levels. But what could she say? Even though at best she got along with her co-stars, she loved acting and the series. It was her comfort zone- that is whenever she wasn't in spandex or skimpy clothing. Before Bloom could serve Flora with a comeback, Aisha and Musa joined their own group. Unlike the dark, alternative and snide Flora, emotional mess known as Stella and the hippie Tecna; Musa and Aisha where the most normal of the entire cast. Musa was your typical southern small-town girl with a big heart, love of all things country and had a mighty big appetite; in fact she even grew-up on a real working farm before being discovered in Nashville. Then there was Aisha, who was just as sporty on-screen as she was normally, a third generation Olympian. Or rather Olympian hopeful, during practice one day she fell and injured her back severely forcing her to quite gymnastics. Needless to say her family was disappointed and let down when she went into acting.

"Hey girls," Musa said. Even after working with the best vocal coach in the city, Musa still had a light linger of her southern accent. Luckily it was light enough to understand-or everyone had gotten so use to it that it no longer stood out.

"What's up?" Aisha chimed in cheerfully, slowly and completely by chance she turned her head to the left to see Tecna and Stella's sad state. Automatically the tall athletic actress winced.

Musa covered her ears as she turned to face Bloom and Flora, "Do I even want to ask?"

Flora leaned against the wall, "Bloom made them cry."

Quickly Aisha and Musa threw their glances at Bloom who shrugged as she raised her hands in defense towards her friends before making a face at Flora. "Liar."

"Eh?" Aisha pressed as she folded her arms and gave me a dark glare.

"It wasn't me, honest- or at least it wasn't me this time…you let your temper get the best of you just once and no one ever forgets…"

"Well, you did send half of the crew to the ER…"Musa began, only to cut herself off short when she seen Bloom's fist a few inches from her face.

"Enough," Aisha declared as she dived Musa and Bloom. "What has them so upset? Did we run out of foundation and someone forgot to turn the water off?"

Flora laughed, "Wow, do you two ever forget anything?"

Aisha shock her head, "You nearly flooded the studio out!"

"I wanted to go swimming."

A collective groan formed and head-slaps proceeded. "Tecna and Stella started freaking out about our ratings." Bloom slowly explained, "But I don't see what the issue is, our ratings are fine."

"T-t-there no-not fi-fi-fine," shuddered Stella as she blew her noise loudly. "Th-there ba-ba-ba-baddddd….."
