Chapter Three

"Stella, you need to pull yourself together," Musa began softly as she draped her arm around the sobbing blonde's shaking shoulders. "Take a few nice deep breaths; in and out. There we go."

"O-o-oh kayyyy," Was all Stella could manage as she slowly followed her co-star's directions.

After permitting Stella to calm down some, Musa slowly tuned her focus to Tecna. The tall pink-wigged actress sat cross-legged in the corner, her eyes closed as she chanted under her breath what sounded like gibberish. "Naw, nee, no…"

"Um," Bloom began as she watched Tecna perform a series of hand gestures. "Tecna…"

"Don't call me by my Earthly name when I am channeling the great beyond, red flame dancer. Only they know our fates."

Flora let out a chuckle, as she made a face at Bloom. "Red flame dancer, hum, why didn't I come up with something like that?"

Automatically Bloom groaned as her hands made themselves into fist that she began to shake willfully at Flora. Oh how she wanted to whip that grin off her smug little mug…

"Stella, what do you mean our ratings are bad?" Aisha began in a soothing tone as she gently rubbed her friend's forearm. "What would make you so?"

"I heard some people, our staff, say that the new numbers where in." Stella slowly began as she started to dry her eyes. "And they were so bad that the executives where laughing, laughing girls!"

"That doesn't sound good, but maybe they weren't talking about our show?" Musa pondered as she looked at her friends. "After all there are some pretty disturbing things on this network…"

"Agreed," Bloom and Aisha nodded their heads remembering their first introduction to the other network properties. It wasn't a pretty sight.

"No, they said Winx. And that we are on our last leg!" Stella's lower lip began to tremble and her voice lowered, "They said we might not even make it to renewal, we might get canceled."

Everyone frozen, canceled. Every 'toon's worse nightmare come true…

"No, no, no. I refuse to believe they would do such a thing." Bloom folded her arms and shock her head wildly. "There is no way our ratings are that bad. For Dragon's sake we have our own flipping theme part back in Italy. There is no way on Earth they can do that to us."

"I wouldn't be so cocky, Bloomie. If the bubble- brain blonde is right we might really be on our last leg around here. After all the staff has been quite lately, too quite."

"Things have been off, but that seems really drastic. You don't think they would actually pull us, do you?" Aisha started biting her nails, "I mean if they do what will happen to us?"

"I don't know, whenever a series is pulled off the air everything along with it vanishes and is never seen or heard from again…I don't even want to think about us ending up that way…alone, and forgotten somewhere far, far away…" Musa's eyes began to widen, suddenly she started to grip her chest. "I think I am having a panic attack."

"Everyone needs to calm down, all this is a joke. It has to be, you know how crazy our staff is. They network loves us and would never discard us. I refuse to believe it."

Flora shorted, "Someone is sure smoking something."

"But what if they are planning on getting rid of us, where will go? What will happen to us?"

"Everyone will forget us, it will be like we never existed."

"There is one way to find out," Tecna's eyes opened. "We go to the vault."
