Everyone voted for the fight scene so here it is! I'm not an epic writer for fight scenes but i hope you like it. Enjoy!

The thunder rumbled again, clouds darkening with the promise of rain. Sakura stood still evaluating and anticipating what was going to happen. He knew of her position before she walked out so she can guess he knew that a part of this was a genjutsu. And he also knew that she never attacked first so either he was going to try and wait her out and play on her nerves or he was going to go for it.

There was no way she was going to move first. She couldn't. She had nerves of steel in the village and she was gonna prove that she had nerves of steel on the battle field.

Breath…focus…stay alert.

He's a master genjutsu specialist make sure our awareness stays open.

Hai that's not a problem so far it's just a test of nerves.

Inhaling through her nose and out her mouth she kept her steady green eyes on her opponent. And despite all of her rigorous training it still took her off guard when Itachi was suddenly next to her throwing a punch right at her face. Using a little wind she twisted quickly out of the way taking a defensive stance.

A fierce taijutsu spar ensued and considering that she canceled her spar with Rock Lee today she was fresh as a daisy. And she did hold a good deal of gratitude because had it not been for those spars then she doubted she would be able to keep up with Itachi's speed. She'll definitely keep those sparring sessions with Lee until further notice. Maybe he would make a good husband.

FOCUS!

And a second later she suffered a strong upper cut to her chin that launched her a good twenty feet in the air and out.

Shit that stings!

Then focus because holy shit we're sparring against Uchiha Itachi!

She bounced back easily after landing unsteadily on her feet. Using the rainstorm above her she shot a bolt of lightning to separate the two when he flash stepped next to her again. Sakura took that moment to the break the first layer of genjutsu.

Chakra 71%. We used extra with the lightning bolt.

Right…next layer is about to commence.

The earth began to shake again. With a rough pull large pillars erupted out of the ground while Sakura disappeared quickly under the ground. She could sense his chakra atop a pillar, four down and two away from her current location. Using hand signs for precision she began her assault.

o0o

Clever, Itachi thought.

Squatting on the earth pillar he tore off a piece of the rocky surface.

Real, not a composite and infused with chakra. It'll make it difficult to sense him.

As he stood a misty fog descended rapidly cloaking the pillars. He smirked, this was going to be fun. A good test of his own stealth skills. Jumping lightly to the next pillar he worked his way to what he remember was the other side of the rocky expanse. The more he worked his way inward the thicker the fog became; this was definitely a disadvantage for him.

Just as he was about to perform a fire jutsu to try and clear the air a fist came out of the mist barely scraping his face. He jumped to the pillar behind him but Seito had already disappeared. He didn't even sense him.

Interesting. The fog obscures his signature when not in the pillars.

A very useful techniquebut currently using only two of the five elements. Until he heard the wind. Making his way quickly over to the edge he saw a simple ring of wind most likely surrounding their field which is prohibiting him from escaping.

Smart.

Had he been able to leave the arena he could use a large ninjutsu to try and destroy it. By limiting his field he would have to be more careful using jutsu that would now kill himself. The boy thought ahead and was very misleading, he admired that. Now he needed to amend his plan and for that he needed to keep moving.

Jumping from pillar to pillar he wove through the hand signs unleashing his dragon flame.

"Shit!"

Ah, so he's out of the pillar's protection.

Following the voice he found Seito putting out a small fire on his shirt sleeve. He immediately engaged in taijutsu before the boy disappeared into a pillar. Luckily his idea worked, fire evaporated the water in the mist clearing the area where it touched. It would take two or three more times before the mist was completely cleared. But it seemed the small man was on to him as the pillars began collapsing; left, right, he had stay light on his feet in order not to get caught in the debris. Luckily he stayed close to the edge and once the air wall was lifted he jumped out of the danger area only to dodge a large stream of water.

Then something shifted.

As another water arm shot towards him he noticed it was infused with lightening making it significantly more potent. Most likely a typical fire defense would not stop the lightening. But if he added an earthen wall after it…

Not waiting any longer her shot a traditional Uchiha fireball to stop the water then instantly used a copied technique of an earth wall which immediately stopped lightning attack. Luckily the fire lessened the impact of the lightning allowing the wall to remain intact.

Very good.

Using those two techniques so quickly in succession was quick, even for him. Any shinobi who couldn't perform as fast would've been hit by the lightning and it would be game over. One of the things that mildly irked him, even with his sharingan activated he couldn't copy the techniques. He didn't use hand signs which that in and of itself meant his chakra control was perfect and then beyond.

Walking around the wall he stood a few feet in front of Seito.

"What else would you like to see Itachi-taichou.?" Seito asked.

Itachi observed the mild hitch in his breathing, he was getting tired. It obviously took a lot of effort using multiple elements at once. He made it look easy but obviously it was difficult.

"I want to see the exact extent of your use of all five elements. Then attack me."

Seito nodded, spread his legs shoulder length apart, and placed his hands flat in the prayer position. First it was air, creating a protective barrier area his person. Water followed forming a ring; followed by fire and last by earth. But what surprised Itachi most was the lightning raining down onto the protective shield. Then once it stopped small sparks could be seen shooting out at odd intervals from the air shield.

With a twist of his hand all five elements shot up into the air swirling together before shooting straight down at Itachi. But he was prepared his blood red Susanoo creating his impenetrable shield. The force of the impact was about what he was expecting. Blunt force from the water and the earth, shock from the lightning, and heated whips from the air and fire. An impressive display of power and one that was probably very draining.

And he was right, Seito was currently bent over his hands on his knees.

Chakra at 8%.

Yeah I can feel that. And we're gonna feel it in the morning.

Yeah we better eat and drink and then soak.

Hai.

"How often have you used that type of attack?" Itachi asked walking towards his opponent.

"Not often," Seito took in a large breath, "One second."

With another shift Itachi found himself on the other side of the field with Seito across from him now on the grass still heaving in heavy breaths. The gasps from around the field along with a quick survey told him something he…he wasn't quite sure he could process. The damage done from the spar was erased and they were back in their original position.

Genjutsu? Was it all genjutsu?

"What did you do?" Itachi asked.

Seito looked up and smirked, "Multi-layered genjutsu. Base one," he coughed, "Covered the entire field so people could see the fight. Second layer was the use of the five elements. Third, two elements, and the fourth was for taijutsu." He took a drink of water Itachi offered him. "With each layer I could use different elements. With that I knew I had a specific amount of chakra I could use in each layer that way I couldn't run out. I was fighting you and unless I controlled the battle from beginning to end I knew I would lose. But considering the fact I can't stand and you can means I lost anyway. Oh well." He shrugged.

"Was it real?"

"Hai taichou I can actually do everything I performed."

"Very impressive display of power. Your father has instructed you well. I see why you stole his scroll and came in his place. What do you mean by not often?"

"That's the first time I've used it to attack someone."

Itachi nodded, "It's a shame your father kept you hidden. Our village would be greatly benefitted by your skills. Perhaps you could reconsider your place as a shinobi in our ranks rather than a private guardian."

Seito's eyes widened at his proclamation. Shit how do I answer that?

Father has to give his permission.

"I'll speak with my father when the war is over taichou. Thank you."

With another nod Itachi addressed the rest of the men, "Show's over back to your tents to prepare for tomorrow's training."

Barely!

Shut up…

No I will not shut up you will listen to my ENTIRE RANT!

Please I already know what you're going to say and I'd rather not have my peaceful relaxation ruined by your incessant ranting.

You will listen if it's the last thing I do. We were this close! 4% after you stupid little stunt with the five elements and releasing the genjutsu…4%! That is unacceptable. Everybody and their dogs were there, literally! Our own genjutsus would've been found out and exposed and then here comes the questions! Our anonymity is important. More important than showing off and getting us in trouble.

I got it. I hear you now will you PLEASE let me relax. Today was very taxing particularly getting into a spar with the Uchiha prodigy. So please I'm begging you to leave me alone!

That shut her up. After a well-deserved rant Sakura was finally able to have some peace. It was midnight, nobody was around, and she had the lake all to herself. Of course it had been planned. Wait until all the troops were asleep then sneak out to enjoy herself. Some of the clan boys offered to bring her with them when they bathed earlier but she declined. It was easy to blame it on exhaustion.

It did surprise her that after Itachi ordered a dismissal that many people came up to congratulate her. It was definitely unexpected and also kind of…nice? Kami-sama was she thinking that men could actually be nice! Scratch that some men were, like her father and some others, but she had to remain steadfast that all men were jerks. To back up her claim would be her near perfect recollection of the matchmaking session with that damn list! It really was hard to believe that they all thought that way. Annoying too; that men only saw women as property to be used when it pleased them.

Her mind did a brief flashback to that night oh so long ago now. She never really got her vengeance. She wasn't even sure who was behind it. Her father never spoke of it probably his way of blocking out those memories. Mother never pried she just liked to think it never happened except when the star reminders are in her face; like the time when she wore her make shift armor under her kimono to visit her matchmaker.

She really needed to think of something else. The water was nice and cool as she slipped in with her underwear, bindings, and armor. She really needed to change the bindings they were days old and probably began to smell. One thing she hated about this undercover thing, the scent she adopted reeked if left unbathed for more than two days. How does she know? Well after intense training and teaching usually one likes to forgo a bath when one is ridiculously tired. Hence the bad B.O. When she woke up that morning she made a mad dash to the lake for a quick bath and made it just in time to begin her teaching. Now she snuck out every other night, typically at midnight, to bathe so her own adopted smell doesn't knock her out let alone others. Just because she was playing a man doesn't mean she has to tolerate their terrible, nasty, disgusting, vomit inducing smell. She shouldn't have picked a farmer.

Swimming slowly through the water she came to the edge of the lake where it cascaded off into a small waterfall. The lake was the starting point for the Naka river that ran through central Konoha. Civilian geologists stated that there was an underground source that fed into the lake and when the water pressure became too high it created its own little waterfall and river in order to control its own pressure.

It was also the perfect spot to unleash her seal controlling her period. With a quick flash of chakra the seal was undone and the blood flowed easily out of her. So far the seal worked like a charm, no pain while using it and no pain releasing it. She may have to employ this technique on a regular basis considering she always got terrible cramps. Her mother would usually make her an herbal tea to counter the menstrual pains, apparently she got them bad too.

After resealing herself she decided to swim back over to where her clothing lay, they needed a good scrub so she could hang them up tomorrow to dry. Using her small bar of soap she got from the supply tent, she couldn't believe she didn't bring one for clothing, she scrubbed until they smelled like soap, rung them out, and hung them on a log.

Now it was time to bathe herself. Scanning the trees once again for any eyes on her she slowly slid off her underwear, armor and bindings scrubbed them then began to wash. She made sure, as a precaution, to only keep her head above the water. While she may have altered her body significantly the disguise only worked if they didn't see her chest. Not much you can do about boobs, they just kind of stick out there. Not that hers were large or anything, Hinata was definitely bigger, but they were a good size. Obviously men liked them as she caught them staring at them enough. Honestly, her eyes here a good six or so inches higher and she hated it when they tried to act all nonchalant. It so was not working, every woman knows when men are looking at their boobs. Annoying.

A whoosh and snap of a twig had her halting her bath. A small chakra flare later told her exactly who had intruded on her midnight bath. Thank all the deities above that it was only a half moon keeping the area relatively dark.

"Do you make it a habit of sneaking up on people?" Sakura asked keep her back to him.

"Only when their behavior warrants such action."

Turning to her side and keeping her body submerged Sakura met his onyx eyes with a small glare. "And taking a bath is suspicious?"

"On the contrary, bathing is a very typical practice. What I find slightly suspicious is that you're bathing at midnight," Itachi stated sitting on a rock by the shore.

"And what I find very alarming is you sitting here talking to me whilst I'm nude."

Itachi smirked, "We're both men. We have the same anatomy and physiology. I don't find it alarming in the least."

Sakura snorted, "Forgive me but I do prefer privacy."

"So you've stated."

"Then please give it."

He didn't answer but luckily he wasn't staring at her anymore. After a few minutes of awkward silence, on Sakura's end, she began washing again.

"Wouldn't that be easier if you were above water?"

"Actually it would be easier if you left."

"What is the reason behind your…squeamishness with our sex?"

Kami-sama!

Feed him a line of bullshit and get it over with.

"I finished my training young," she started then dunked her head, "Barely out of my little kid pants it feels like. Around ten or eleven when father told me he needed a guardian for our silk transports. So I told him I would do it and he wanted me to do it anyway. So I left. It was my first skirmish with nuke-nin. They wanted to show me that little boys couldn't be shinobi. I've never let anyone take advantage of me again. It was a very eye opening experience."

Itachi nodded in understanding, "I was a child prodigy myself. I was born into conflict and raised in it. I grew up by the age six."

Sakura gasped, eyes widening at his statement, "You were just a baby."

He nodded, "My father thought it would make me strong. Seeing all the blood and carnage had the opposite effect he wanted. Instead of becoming his version of a perfect shinobi I'm more of a pacifist."

"Seems contradictory considering your role in our camp."

"Just because I wish for peace doesn't mean I won't kill to protect my home. There are those in the world who think that total domination means peace. There are those who just want blood and carnage. I figure if what I want is peace in my home then I need to fight, protect, and kill in order to attain it."

Sakura nodded staring at the dark water.

"But it doesn't mean I have to like it."

"I know what you mean?" she whispered.

"Oh?"

"About not liking things that are. About wishing for change."

He tilted his head slightly, "What do you mean?"

Sakura looked up at him briefly before shaking her head, "Nothing important."

"Anything that is said between us will be kept in confidence. I'm not one for idle talk and gossip."

That made her snort, "What kind of conversation are we having now? Not idle conversation?"

He shrugged lightly, "I thought we were just having conversation about points of view. In a sense getting to know one another."

Again she was shocked, what's up with him? "So why me then? Unless you swing that way…"

"I assure you I do not…'swing that way', as you've put it. Merely I'm interested."

"Interested can be interpreted very differently."

Now he sighed, "I want to get to know you as a person."

"Like…acquaintance?"

"I was thinking more along the line of friends. I don't have many."

"Me either. So why me then? Something about my insubordination you like?"

"Heh," he smirked, "Hardly."

"…Well…"

"If I tell you my reason you might not want to be my friend."

"I doubt I'm the kind of person to hate you and turn away a friendship for a stupid reason," she scoffed, "You already think little of me."

"If I tell you it is in the strictest confidence, you cannot tell another."

She sighed but smirked in friendly way, "Your secret is safe with me."

It almost creeped her out how he just sat there and stared at her. She held in her shivers of unease. He had brought up a good point about being the same anatomy. Men don't really have problems around other men's nakedness. They bathed together at bath houses and such just like women so she forced herself to resume a calm demeanor while keeping her body strictly under the water. All it took was a little peep and shows over.

"I'm interested in your sister."

Her eyebrows shot up, mouth agape.

YOU'VE GOT TO BE SHITTING ME!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! OMG UCHIHA ITACHI IS ACTUTALLY INTERESTED IN US! Please let me take a moment to fan-girl here PUH-LEASE!

You may do so silently so I can fucking focus!

Speak in the third person if you can!

"What interest are you talking about taichou?" She asked in a rougher voice. Typical she thought if she were a real brother looking out for his sister. He would be automatically defensive about her and men interested in her. Not to mention her own feelings about being seen as attractive to another man and said man being Uchiha Itachi. Kami! This whole situation just went from weird to terrible!

"She went to see the matchmaker recently yes?"

She nodded, "She did."

"So she's eligible to be married?"

Green eyes narrowed, "That's typically why women meet with the matchmaker."

Itachi only nodded before averting his eyes to the dark water in front of him.

"Why her?" Sakura asked.

He arched a brow in question.

"Why Sakura? You don't know her, never spoken to her, you're the clan heir I'm sure you have plenty of women who will bow down to your feet? If that's all you want from her then I'm gonna tell you to leave her alone!" She had to defend herself. If she made it clear now then maybe his interest would sway and become non-existent.

"You asked why her?"

Sakura nodded.

"Because from the first moment I met her I thought she was beautiful." That statement made her gasp. It sounded pretty lady-like if she had to admit but it seemed as if he wasn't paying attention to the naked person in the water. His eyes were now fixed on the moon. "Being the clan heir there are certain things that are required of me. One of the things is to marry and have a son. All my life everything about who I am was always decided for me. My shinobi life is not one that I would've picked for myself. Before even starting out my parents gave me an ultimatum: either I chose the kind of shinobi I want to be and they pick me a decent wife, or vice versa. I chose the latter. I figured whether they chose my shinobi life for me or not I'd still be the Uchiha clan prodigy. But a wife…that will have a greater impact on my life and I'd rather have my choice of bride. Being married makes me responsible for another person whereas as a shinobi I'm only responsible for myself. I'd rather pick my own companion, someone I'm compatible with, than to have that chosen for me."

Holy…shit…batman…
Holy…shit…batman…

Tsunade-sama was right.

Hold your horses cowboy or girl whichever you feel more comfortable with. He just said he wants to pick his own woman.

No. He said he wants to pick a companion. Big difference in my opinion.

Well a little clarification is in order.

Hai.

"So…the marriage laws and standards, you just simply ignore them?" she asked in a slightly small voice.

"Tch," he turned his head in disgust, "It is outdated and demeaning. It's a pity that girls are taught that rubbish. It changes them from what they could be. My father showed me the list my first matchmaking season and I promptly burnt it. I even told him that if he's picking women from a list like that I will never agree."

"Has he?"

He nodded, "Hai, but I get the final say and I've always said no."

"Until my sister."

He looked back at Seito, "In a way. Mostly I've just been waiting for someone who reacts to that list the same way I did. But I have yet to find her. Unfortunately if I don't pick from this generation then I will have a bride chosen for me. Apparently it was my mother who convinced my father of the ultimatum. But he's grown tired of my stubbornness."

"I'm sorry."

"Don't be the same will happen to you and then you'll understand my predicament."

She snorted, "Yeah probably but I'm gonna tell my dad that if he doesn't find me a woman like my sister I ain't getting married and that's that."

Itachi chuckled at his declaration, "I envy your position. What I wouldn't give to not be a clan heir. To make my own choices, do things for myself and myself alone."

Sakura looked back up at him, "That's why this is so important to you. You want someone to understand."

He nodded, "Do you think Sakura would understand?"

Of course we understand! Tell him!

Undercover bitch.

"I think so," she shrugged, time to at least feed him a bone. If he's seriously considering negotiating with my father I'll give him my expectations. "Sakura likes people who tell her the truth. She won't be bought easily, but given our station and such if you were to negotiate with father he wouldn't likely refuse you. Kami knows mother is hoping for a match." She chuckled lightly, "But she demands respect. Sakura does have shinobi training, mostly for self-defense. She had a rough event happen ten years ago and it's stayed with her since. It defines who she is as a person."

That statement got his attention, "What happened?" He demanded.

"You heard of the blue lipped girls?"

Despite it being dark outside with only a half moon Sakura could still see the steely glint in his onyx eyes. That answered her question.

She took a deep breath, she couldn't believe she was actually going to tell him. Maybe it was because of the confidence they both were sharing with each other. She wasn't sure but something just felt…right telling him, "One of the men was a blue lipped rapist and had a past with my mother. He wanted recompense for her betrayal in her marrying my father. Mother told me that he tried killing her father over a business deal gone bad. My parents were out having a dinner with some friends. Sakura and her nanny were walking back into the house when they were ambushed. The nanny was killed, Sakura hid. She was found and then tortured. They decided it was fun to carve pretty pictures into her back. She tried fighting back but a six year old against a thirty year old man? Not even in the realm of possibility of winning. They had her stark naked, broken and bleeding ready to take her when father and mother returned. Father put them in prison maybe killing one of them."

Itachi blew out a long breath trying to control his growing rage from the story. "So her innocence, her virtue is intact?"

She looked him dead in the eye, "Would it matter to you if it had been taken? Would you rescind your proposal to her?"

"No," he answered automatically, "But it does explain a great deal of her personality."

Sakura smirked, "That it does."

"Where were you during this event?"

Hiding in the attic. They only wanted Sakura!

"I saw them enter the compound. I had a hideout in the attic and I was with the maids. So I hid there watching from the roof top. Saw everything."

He nodded accepting the explanation. "You didn't answer my question."

"She's still pure."

Itachi was relieved to hear that bit of information. Not that it mattered but at least this way he wouldn't have to compete with rape nightmares. Not to mention all the blue lipped girls died after their rapes. Sakura was lucky, lucky that her parents showed up to save her. At six years old too. He couldn't even think of it. She had seen the ugly in the world the same age he did. Not that that is really something to have in common but it's true none-the-less.

"Thank you for speaking with me tonight."

Sakura nodded, "Sure Itachi-taichou."

He stood up straightening his clothing, "Amidst our comrades address me as our leader. But as friends address me as such."

She gave a small grin in response, "Hai Itachi-san."

To say Itachi was surprised by the conversation he had just had would be an understatement. After making his rounds of the guards on watch he sensed the boy's chakra signature. It found it slightly odd that he would bathe at an odd time of night, but then again he had valued his privacy since he first entered camp. His skittish nature around other men was slightly amusing but after his story…

It honestly amazed Itachi that he had been so open with another being. The only other person he'd been open with was his cousin Shisui. And the fact that he barely knew this young man and had already had a deep conversation with him…it startled him. What was it about Seito that just made him talk?

Not wanting to linger on those thoughts anymore he entered his tent discarding all of his weapons. He needed some decent sleep considering his spar with Seito had taken more out of him than he intended. The boy was truly gifted, it was almost selfish of Haruno Kyodu to keep him to himself. But no matter, after his offer of working for the village, it seemed Seito was very open to the idea. He was ANBU worthy, especially being so young and already jaded to the world. He would recommend him to join his ANBU team once the war was over.

He walked over to the small desk in his tent to douse the light when he spotted a medium sized scroll sitting there innocently. It had been hand delivered to him by Tsunade's assistant Shizune. It surprised him when he received the scroll. He had been advised not to open it until he had sufficient time to read through it. He had also been advised to keep an open mind. The message was definitely cryptic but it was Tsunade that sent it so he wasn't very surprised.

He had time now so he sat and opened the scroll and began to read.

Itachi-san,

Despite my previous attempts at finding you a match I believe I have finally accomplished my goal. I've sifted through the other women that have been presented to you and have chosen a woman who is their complete opposite. So if this woman doesn't grab your attention then I refuse to try again. You'll either end up an old bachelor or you'll be stuck with some overly primped woman your father picks for you.

He chuckled lightly at that. Mostly because he knew it was true.

Please take this candidate into serious consideration. According to her, she has only met you once briefly. Yes I have also personally recommended her to you. And my own conscience will not allow her to go to another man that is if you are acceptable. I believe that together you will find happiness in marriage and you will also change the way our world currently views certain standards.

Please read through the typical matchmaking profile before continuing.

FEMALE MATCHMAKING PROFILE

Surname: Haruno
Name: Sakura

His eyes widened at that. She was actually being recommended to him? For some reason his heart began to beat faster. He quickly glanced over t her attached photo, she looked just as beautiful as she did on that day. She was dressed in her kimono, hair and make up done. But her eyes looked a little...sad...

Parents: Former ANBU Captain, Haruno Kyodu
Haruno Kyari

Family Business: Haruno Silk Trade: One of the largest distributors in Konoha and surrounding countries. Producers of high quality grade silk. Silk farmers and manufacturers.

He knew they were well off, noble in terms of civilian wealth. What he didn't know was that they actually farmed and spun the silk.

Matchmaking seasons: One
Former seasons: None

Childbearing Percentages: Sons born to family: 70% Daughters born to family: 30%

His father would like that, she's most likely to have a son than a daughter.

Homemaking Skills

Cooking: Fair
Signature dishes: Onigiri, dango

That made him smirk. Listed as a fair cook but makes the two simplest things to make. But considering if they were to marry her cooking skills would be unneeded since the family chef took care of all that.

Sewing: Poor, basic mending skills only

Tea Pouring: Excellent
Side note: Superb sake pourer

Only Tsunade would add that.

Cleanliness: Neurotic, she'll rip your head off if you leave a mess.

Good, no matter how compatible they might be he hated messes being left everywhere.

Fidelity: Good luck getting her to submit to you in the first place, let alone look for it elsewhere.

That made him smirk. It had just occurred to him that his father may have received something similar but it felt like Tsunade was making his a little less formal. This was her apprentice after all.

Presentation

Clothing: Prefers pants and loose fit shirts. Will only wear kimonos if forced on special occasions.

That made him smile.

Personal Hygiene: Very clean, showers regularly, keeps herself looking pristine.

Talents: Domestic talents: None.
Shinobi talents: See attachment below for complete outline of shinobi skills.

That interested him, considering her other qualities were pretty abysmal. He was now wondering if she was equal to her brother. It's possible considering her sleek entrance to meet with her matchmaker. But she asked him to read through this first then the shinobi skill. So he continued reading.

Personality: Stubborn to a fault, blunt and forthright, not afraid to stand up for what she believes is right, fearlessly defensive of those she loves, and when she loves she will love fiercely. Once you get past her hardened shell there is a vulnerable young woman underneath. Protect her, love her, respect her and you both will be happier than most of these arrangements that I make.

Itachi pondered the statement "vulnerable young woman". It probably had something to do with what Seito told him tonight, being a near victim to the blue lipped rapist. That would definitely change a person, and it was obviously the catalyst for her odd demeanor and reputation throughout the village. She didn't care what people thought about her. Probably because they didn't really know her or know why. Especially considering if she didn't talk about it, or her parents didn't talk about it. He wasn't even sure she ever got help for it.

Oh well, between his conversation tonight with Seito and with her master's personal opinions of her one message was clear. He had to love and respect her to win her over.

Now that you've completed the reading of a typical profile I can guess that you are probably less than impressed. Not many men would be in all honesty. Your father has also received this copy except my writing is a little more formal than I used with yours. And I may have exaggerated in order for him to not completely discount her.

Her reasoning for not being a house wife ready to buy is this: she is a shinobi, a kunoichi of incredible power. She is my apprentice and when I say apprentice I mean in every sense of the term. Her ninjutsu and genjutsu skills are jonin or higher rank. She is an intelligent medic and poisons specialist. And she in the only person I have met with chakra control as perfect as my own. With her perfect chakra control skills Sakura has been able to master the secret to my immense strength. If she is ever able she will surpass even me in terms of shinobi skills. Now here's your detailed description of her abilities.

Shinobi Skills
Reserved section only for those who are of a clan or are trained civilians

Taijutsu: Complete mastery of Konoha style taijutsu. Complete mastery of my own amended form to suit the use of my immense strength.

Ninjutsu: Primary chakra form: Earth; Secondary: Water; Tertiary: Lightning; Quaternary: Air; Five-nary (science only goes to four so whatever the hell the fifth set is called): Fire

Yes I can assume that this surprises you. Sakura is indeed a rarity in the ability to use, successfully, all five chakra types. Fire took her longest to master but I'm sure she could still benefit from a fire master herself. She has mastered the uses of all five to chunin or jonin rank.

Amended note: Sakura can also mix chakra types together to form attacks. Her exemplary chakra control allows her to use ninjutsu without the burden of hand signs.

This is why Sakura is a piss poor homemaker on paper. Due to circumstances not permitted for me to disclose and you to not ask until she wills it, Sakura has spent all of her time growing up in training with her father. She not the same as them Itachi-san, she is different and gloriously so. This is what I think you were looking for. This is why you never accepted those other girls. If I am wrong in my assessment of you and what you want then let me know, Kami knows there are plenty of other women out there just begging for you.

Regards,

Senju Tsunade
Matchmaker of Konoha

Impressive. Sakura was just as talented if not more so than her brother.

Brother?

He quickly looked back towards the beginning of the scroll in search. No name. Strange, usually family members are listed under the parents. Maybe because he is younger Tsunade didn't see fit to add him. No she wouldn't do that. The other résumés that he received always had all the family members listed, even the married ones with their family. So why wasn't Seito added?

Strange, very strange. The only explanation that made sense was that she was so focused on promoting Sakura to him that it simply skipped her mind to add her brother. She probably barely knew the boy so did not feel inclined to add him. Still there was something in the back of his mind that wasn't letting this go. It seemed like a slight on Tsunade's part not to mention him.

They were remarkably similar though. Sakura could control all five elements and so could her brother. Her genjutsu was all the way to A-rank and her brother's was at least that. Their chakra control was perfect. Both persons were perfect. Their control was so superior that her brother Seito never used hand signs during their spar; Tsunade said Sakura didn't need them either.

What were the odds that both siblings had the exact or near exact same abilities? Not likely. He was a prodigy and while Sasuke was not he was still a very gifted shinobi. Could a former ANBU Captain and civilian noble woman produce two genius shinobi with perfect chakra control?

He rubbed his eyes and rolled the scroll closed. It was getting to be too late at night for this type of in-depth thought. He needed to rest.

Please leave a review. I'd love to know what you think!

FYI all italics at the end are the written parts of Tsunade's letter to Itachi. I made sure not to add "thoughts" which i usually use italics for.

Keep on reading it's about to get good!
