Charlie could not stop talking about Quinn. If the girl wasn't so adorable it would have annoyed Santana. It was always Quinn this or Quinn that or 'can Quinn come over?' Santana loved her daughter but she had to know that Quinn chose to leave them. After one particularly long story about how Quinn would be the perfect princess Santana finally had enough. Santana picked up her daughter and sighed, "We need to talk about Quinn sweetie," she said as she pressed a soft kiss to Charlie's temple.
Charlie looked up at Santana and smiled softly, "Did I do something bad mami?" she asked softly hoping she didn't upset her mami somehow.
Santana shook her head, "No…. Princess this is actually about Quinn." Charlie bit her lip and nodded, "Well you know how you're always asking about your daddy?" She took a deep breath and ran her fingers gently through Charlie's hair, "Well a long time ago Quinn and I used to date. And Quinn isn't like mami… she has parts that would help her be a daddy. Quinn and I were both so happy when we found out you were going to be born, but something happened that made Quinn want to leave. She didn't talk to me for a long time… until the other day actually. Does all of this make sense?" Santana wiped her eyes. She hadn't noticed that her eyes had filled with tears.
Charlie hugged Santana tightly, "I'm sorry that she made you sad mami… She seemed really nice to me." Santana smiled slightly and hugged her back. Charlie looked up at Santana "Does this mean that Quinn is my daddy?" she asked quietly.
Santana chuckled slightly, "Kinda… but I think if you called Quinn 'daddy' she wouldn't be too happy. She was always really sad when we were younger because she's different."
Charlie nodded, "Did she leave 'cause people were mean to her?"
Santana shook her head, "No sweetie… things got much better when we got into college… I think it had something to do with her parents but I'm not really sure. We started fighting over something stupid and then she broke up with me because of it."
Charlie nodded trying to understand why her mommy would leave them. If you really loved someone you shouldn't leave them no matter that. Charlie kissed Santana's cheek and smiled softly, "Can we go to the park mami? I-I can buy us ice cream too," she said hoping it would cheer Santana up.
Santana nodded and stood up holding Charlie, "Okay Charlie… you don't have to buy us ice cream though. It's your money."
Charlie nodded and Santana put her down carefully on the floor, "Mami is going to get my phone and my purse then we can go." Charlie nodded and sat down so she could try putting on her sneakers. Santana grabbed her phone while she was in her room and checked it. She sighed when she saw a miss text from Quinn. She didn't want to talk to the blonde. This morning had brought up too many painful memories.

Quinn sighed as she checked her phone for what seemed like the hundredth time that hour. Once again Santana hadn't replied. She wanted to text the girl again but decided against it. She knew the Latina wouldn't appreciate it.
Instead she picked up her phone and called the last person she probably should be talking to.
Puck woke up with a groan when he heard his phone ringing. He glanced at it quickly and couldn't help but be surprised when he saw Quinn's name on the called id. "Hello… Puckzilla here," he said with a slight smirk.
Quinn rolled her eyes slightly. She couldn't help but questioning why she called him, "Hi Puck… I know it's been a while but I need to talk," she said softly.
Puck bit his lip, "Oh… so for the last year or so when you don't call or text or anything you think you can just call me and it'll go back to normal?"
Quinn sighed he had a point, "It's only been a couple months for one. And secondly I'm sorry Puck. I just uh… well I…"
Puck sighed, "Spit it out Fabray or is some random sucking you off while you're on the phone?"
Quinn almost choked, "No Puck! Eww just no," she said with a sigh wishing she could hit him through the phone, "I ran into Santana and Charlie the other day…" she said softly.
The smile instantly fell off of Puck's face, "Shit… how did that go?" he asked knowing it must have been hard on the girl to see what could have been.
Quinn sighed softly, "It wasn't that bad actually… San was pretty civil all things considered and Charlie seemed to like be although I doubt she knows the full story at this point. I think San is going to let me see her though… maybe not at Mommy but at least as Quinn and that's better than nothing. It's more than I could have hoped for when everything went down."
Puck bit his lip and sighed softly, "I'm happy for you Q… San always did love you. I never got what she saw in you but still. You'll be fine. Charlie will love you okay? She's going to be so happy to have you back."
Quinn nodded, "How are you sure? I was a total asshole to her. She needed me and I left her," she said trying not to cry.
Puck frowned, "This is not the Quinn that I know and love. She would fight and get her woman and child back not lay down and worry about it. Okay? So just suck it up and work through all the stupid stuff and make her love you again," he said.
Quinn sighed, "I guess you're right," she said softly, "Thanks for listening Puck… I have a lot to think about now."
Puck chuckled, "Anything for you Fabray… go get your girl back. I'll talk to you later," he said before hanging up the phone.
Quinn smiled and put her phone down and she realized Santana had finally replied to her text. "I had fun too Quinn. Charlie can't stop talking about you. Want to babysit one night?" Quinn didn't even have to think as she typed out her reply, "Of course."
