July 1 2052
Another new month has begun and things have begun moving. According to Juliet, Arthur has slowly been regaining his magic so there is the possibility that in a few months he will be able to use the spell on Iceland, and then all of us might regain our memories through a chain reaction. I have yet to meet anyone besides my brother that is suffering the same thing I am, though I have asked if I can meet Arthur at some point this month. According to Juliet, their house should be livable by the end of the month and completed sometime end of August, and then we can all go over there to celebrate with them. I hope that's true because I would like to meet the person that all hopes of remembering my family are resting on. I have come to another possible decision too...I still want to think about it more but I think I really can't wait any longer to see my other two children and really act like part of the family again. I started actually thinking about my situation and realized that I'm no different than a normal human who had lost their memories through some form of accident. Most of those people go back to their normal lives and become ingrained in their family again. I'm sure that not being able to remember them bothers the person but they don't let that stop them from treating their life and the people they love as they would have before. I think that I should be able to do that as well. I know that if I ask Ludwig what he thinks he'll immediately agree with me because he wants me to come home, so this has to be my decision alone. Arthur made it...so I should be able to as well right?
July 2 2052 (From the journal of Matthew Williams)
Yesterday was my birthday and I got surprised when I went to the house in the woods. Courtney and her family were there waiting for me with birthday greetings. I never told them that my birthday was coming up because I figured they would just forget it like everyone else seems to. Yet there they were already prepared with some of my favorite treats. I'm really starting to feel like I believe their crazy insistence that I belonged to their family before. I'm still not sure that I believe that they and I are parts of the world, that's just too crazy to accept. Anyways at one point during the night Gilbert took me aside and asked me a very important question. He asked me to move back into the house with them. I didn't know how to respond. I tried to give excuses about school but he just kept looking at me with that brilliant grin that makes me feel rather weak and asked me to just consider it. I told him that I would so...now I do have to consider it. I can always just bike farther to school and my roommates wouldn't really notice if I just up and left, apart from the change in rent price for them, so there's no issues there...it's a tempting decision. I do love Gilbert and his children...our children? But if I don't quite believe their story and remember them fully...am I willing to make this step? Writing it down is helping slightly, Courtney suggested that I try and write down my thoughts on this situation so that I can think better on them. She's right I guess. But currently I still don't know what to do. I guess I'll just keep writing down my thoughts during the coming days and read back through what I've written to try and ultimately make my decision.
July 5 2052 (From the journal of Arthur Kirkland)
According to my younger brother Peter, his girlfriend's papa who is in the same position as me keeps a journal. I had never considered that idea but perhaps it might be a good way to keep track of how quickly my power seems to be growing.
Well I'll start off by admitting that I made a mistake yesterday. It was Alfred's birthday and he wanted to spend the day as just the two of us so I got it off work and went with him wherever he wanted. Right after it had gotten dark I thought that I would surprise him with something exciting and fun so I used my growing magic to create fireworks in the sky. I thought he would be thrilled but I was sorely mistaken. He was bloody angry! He grabbed my hands and told me to stop and how dare I waste my power before it was fully recovered.
"Now it's going to take even longer to recover!" he shouted with his eyes flashing furiously.
I'd never seen this side of Alfred before and I have to say that it was quite shocking, but also a little relieving to find that the one who I was with before I died actually does have more to him than the energetic, grinning idiot that I had been experiencing so far. He seems more real now I must say. But anyways...
Alfred told me that I can't use my powers for anything trivial again until I recover them fully and hopefully remember everything. I would have protested and told him that he couldn't order me around but he used the excuse that it was his birthday present from me. So I relented and agreed. So now it'll be back to building the house and recording my magic as it increases. Chances are the house will be done long before. But then I will be surrounded by a familiar environment with spell books around me again so hopefully that will speed the process up. For my sake, as well as the other seven who are counting on me. Even though only two others know that.
Also I feel the need to put that it's Andrew's birthday in two days. I need to think of something to give to him without using magic again. What do you get a young man who is actually a capital?
July 7 2052 (From the journal of Toris Laurinaitis)
I've decided to finally make the next uncertain step. Dimitre came to visit me again today and during our chatting he let slip that his ojciec (I think that's how you spell the Polish word) has a birthday at the end of the month. July 22. We were both silent for awhile after that, with him just watching me while my mind tried to process my thoughts. Finally I spoke what I'm pretty sure he was hoping for and I was surprised that I was actually saying.
"Why don't you bring him by on that day then? And your interesting brother as well I guess. I don't have work so I'll be at my apartment. You still have that address right?"
I'm seriously questioning my sanity at the moment. Why did I go and do that?! I don't even know if I believe their story yet. I mean...how can I be a country?! Lithuania is a landmass! It's just not possible! Personifications don't actually exist! Do they...?

Reparations on Alfred and Arthur's house are taking longer than anticipated due to Alfred's responsibilities and Arthur's job. But good news! Arthur's magic has come back a good deal now. Though, according to Andrew he was kinda stupid and used some to impress Alfred on July 4th, his birthday. Yeah...that didn't go over well. But I guess he made a promise not to use his magic again until it all returns, unless absolutely necessary of course. So things are going well on that and we've arranged a day for us older Vargas kids, and Papa, and Vater, to go over and help them with reparations at the end of the month so they can move in then to at least a partially finished house. Plus it means that Papa and Arthur can meet. Maybe just being around Arthur and his slight amount of magic will trigger something in Papa. So the date planned for that is the 28.

He was going to go dump a bouquet of roses and carnations in the sea by Naples, but on his way he stopped in at the pizzeria to get some lunch. Well his waiter was mama. Of course he was so shocked at first but surprisingly he kept his calm and got through his lunch. Then he placed a rose on the table and walked out.

Apparently papa had been planning on returning back to the pizzeria again, just to see mama. And apparently it did have really good pizza too, something to keep in mind for another day. Oh maybe we could go on a large family outing with you guys and Courtney's? What do you think?

Well anyways, when papa went back to the pizzeria he didn't see mama and when he asked about him he was told that he had quit yesterday.
Rather discouraged, papa went home and thought about what he might be able to do next.
Well, what he did was start going to Naples whenever he could and eat at every little trattoria and pizzeria in the city. He probably would have gone back to some again but on April 20 he found mama once more.
He was really depressed on the 19 so I think that's why he immediately went the day after
Anyways, he overheard shouting from beside the pizzeria he was approaching and after the one guy stopped shouting he heard mama's voice start shouting back
Well papa went in after that and mama, looking very irritated, waited on him again, and recognized him from the month before. The guy that had left a stupid rose on the table was the phrase he used. Lol

So the way that we found out was by papa suggesting that we go to Naples for dinner. He said there was a great trattoria there that he wanted to take us to.
Well my stupid sister goes and calmly states, "Serefino and I are forbidden from Naples."
Papa's smile fell instantly, even as his eyes looked utterly surprised. Then he turned and asked Sienna to leave the room and go get herself ready so he could talk about something important with her older siblings.
Well once she had left the room he turned to us, shook his head, and then headed for his study, motioning for us to follow him.
We did and once we were inside the room, far away from Sienna's room, he turned to Roslyn and placed his fingers before his face, taking a deep breath before he asked,
"Exactly what did you do to your madre to have him ban you from Naples?"
I started babbling that it wasn't our fault. That uncle Feli was the one that couldn't stop himself from running to his brother and blurting out everything and...that's when I realized that I was answering a question that papa should know nothing about!
Well that's when Roslyn stepped in and pointed her finger strait at papa and started stammering,
"You know! How the hell do you know?!"
Well that's when papa told us everything. And then we went to dinner at that trattoria like planned. Like nothing had changed. Apparently since he's not aware of being a country at the moment, mama can't actually keep somebody out of one of his cities. So we can still go to Naples!

But papa is too happy to jeopardize what he has by introducing mama to his kids. Except perhaps Sienna, since she looks relatively young. That's why he's debating on whether we should tell her or not.

Much like your papa, Greece has known for awhile now as well. And not too long after he found out, Athens found out by accident by going to Hokkaido with him one day.
They've been keeping it from the rest of the family just like Kazumi and Yuki were
They all found out that the others new quite by accident today. Namely, by the whole family going to Hokkaido and seeing him. Calais was about to start shouting in complete shock when Perseus clapped a hand over her mouth and Kazumi began explaining things to her. Then they both realized in shock that they had both reacted and after they dragged Crete away everything came out.

Arianna already knows! Little sorella has been keeping this secret for about a month now. And we know this because of papa. Here's the story:
So today papa asked something that Vater has been waiting for actually. He asked to at least see pictures of his two younger kids. So Vater happily showed him. As expected, he found Michael absolutely adorable and really can't wait to see him in person now. Not as expected, he's already seen Ari at work a couple of times. Apparently she showed up a month ago and has made it a weekly thing since then. She just comes in and orders a cream soda, then takes it outside and stares at the canal while she drinks it. Papa said that sometimes they would talk, and she's got quite a sharp wit for someone of her age. He said that she always made him feel cheerful when he would talk to her. Now everything makes sense to him.
Well when Vater came home tonight he called Ari, me, and Lor and Laz, into his study and questioned Ari on why she had been keeping it a secret from us. She of course countered with asking why we had been keeping it a secret from her. Basically the discussion ended pretty quickly, but we asked her to continue to keep it a secret from Michael. She didn't really understand why but when Vater told her that papa had requested it, she agreed.
So scratch Ari off the list. With just 3 not in the know I texted Sofia to tell her to just go ahead and tell her far. I guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow to find out if she did and what his reaction was, cause I need sleep now.

Ok I decided to make a list now.
I'll put each lost country's name and then what I know regarding them
Here goes:
Iceland - Kou is going to get a restraining order put on him soon if he doesn't let up. Emil is aware that he's been being stalked quite often in the past month. He just confronted Hong on it yesterday. Isolf agrees that his Fùqīn is quite an idiot.
Finland - (This makes me laugh) Sofia talked with Forseti before they agreed to tell their far about äiti being alive again and working at the animal shelter. His response..."i'know. i own th' shelter. Sry fr not tellin' ya." So that makes that entire family in on the secret. Which isn't such a secret anymore I guess...
Lithuania - When you're dealing with someone who has lost their memory and is hesitant about meeting you, it's probably not the best idea to go wrap your arms around their neck and kiss them. But it worked out for Poland. In complete surprise Toris said that it felt right, almost natural, so Feliks and their boys spent the night at his apartment, and have not left since. Toris found it hard to argue with, "We're moving in, like, got a problem with that?"
Canada - Uncle Mattie is also going to move back in with his family! He finally talked himself into it, but not until the start of next month so he can pay this month's rent.
Japan - Not much to say here since I already wrote about Greece and Athens. According to Kazumi, they're working on a plan but she won't tell me what it is. I guess I'll have to wait and see
Italy! - We're all counting down the days till we can go work with Alfred and Arthur on the house. And we finally convinced Ari that she has to go with Michael to uncle Toni's place that day, so that Michael doesn't get curious why only he doesn't have plans for that day. Vater is claiming a special day with his oldest boys, and I said I have a date. If Ari also said that she had plans then our quite intelligent little Michael would surely get suspicious. Ari once again had to agree with us. Papa is really excited to see Arthur, and Vater is also anxious for them to meet as well. We're all hoping that Arthur's growing magic might trigger something. Some memories.
Romano - My uncles went on their date and things are going really well for them. But Roslyn is no less happy and when her sister asked her why she seemed so annoyed lately she told her to ask their idiot padre. Well Spain's response to the question was hormones. So Ros got really pissed off at that, and Seffie laughing, that she screamed out the truth at her little sister. Poor Sienna was really shocked that she's been being kept in the dark, but she's so absolutely happy that her mama is alive again and that maybe someday she will get to see him. (This makes Michael the only one that doesn't know now and that makes me feel bad. Maybe I'll ask papa about it at the reparations. Michael has a right to know!)
England - Since I'm going to see them soon I haven't talked much with Andrew and Aaron lately. They've also been pretty busy helping with the reparations. But I do know that Arthur has gotten all of the magic back that he lost on the 4th, so that's really great news! If he keeps up this pace, we should at least have Emil remembering by the end of the year! (Please! PLEASE!)
