***Chapter 22***

Kagome believe how time seemed to fly bye as she walked with Kenichi and Miu toward school for her first time. To say she was a little nervous would be the understatement, but she wasn't so nervous when she started thinking back to the last few days.

Flashback

Kagome couldn't help but smile as she explained what had happened on her date with Shougo and laughed at how dreamy eyes Miu had gotten. After she had left for the night Kagome had taken out her cell phone and decided to text Shougo and see what he was doing.

-Hey just getting ready for bed. I just wanted to tell you I really enjoyed myself today.- She said while smiling at the text before sending it.

She didn't have to wait long before it went off and looking at the text she couldn't help but blush.

-Like I said next time you won't get away I will kidnap you and keep you to myself.- The test read. She really couldn't help but thinking about what it would be like to be kidnapped by someone like Shougo. She could already see herself being tied to the bed and begging for mercy as he teased her.

She blushed as she thought about where her thoughts were going but had to admit she didn't really mind idea as much as she should. The more she thought about it the more she realized that what she is feeling now at this moment was hundred times more than what she ever thought she felt for Inuyasha. And it made her finally see that what she felt for Inuyasha was nothing but a crush or idolization since after she first met him thought him a hero. But she knew that wasn't true in the least he was actually worse than Naraku had ever been.

Picking her phone back up her looked at it and decided to text Shougo.

-Are you free to get together tomorrow?- she texted and waited for him text her back. She was letting her down when her phone went off but couldn't help but be a little bit sad when she read the text.

-I wish I could but I can't I have some business to do.- the text read and she hoped he wasn't wanting to not see her anymore. But before she could text anything back she received another text.

-I might be able to see you this weekend but since you start school on Monday how about I meet you after school and we hang out then?- the text read and she couldn't help but smile since he had just cleared any of her doubts from her mind.

-That sounds great it will give me the weekend to spend time with my uncle and finish getting settled in.-

She texted back while smiling and laying back on her bed before looking at her phone and deciding to say good night to him before she did go to sleep.

-I am going to go ahead and go to bed. So this is good night but I do hope you text me tomorrow. Night Shougo.- she texted before rolling over and setting the phone on the bedside. She was about to close her eyes when her phone went off again reaching over and lifting it up enough to look at it she couldn't help but smile before setting it back down and closing her eyes to sleep.

-Sleep well angle I will text you in the morning. But know you will be on my mind all night.- the text said.

The next morning Kagome couldn't help but wonder what to do then she started to get up and get ready for the day. Putting on shorts and a tank top and pulling her long hair up into a ponytail she walked out and headed toward the back training area.

Going toward the tree she sat near the base, it wasn't the tree of ages from her shine but it would do to help her focus. Taking deep even breaths she relaxed her mind and started multiplying her powers circle inside of her body, she knew better than to let it out since she didn't know how anyone here would react to it.

Letting her powers go through her whole body she let out a sigh at feeling she knew that if she truly wanted to really train she would have to either go somewhere away from everyone or tell her uncle everything and she wasn't ready to do that just yet.

Pulling her powers back to her center she stood with her eyes closed and moved toward the middle of the yard even though she hadn't been there long she knew nothing was anywhere near her. With her eyes still closed she started going through the fighting stances she had learned in the past keeping her eyes closed. She didn't open her eyes as she caught the pebbles that were thrown at her she easily caught them all in her hands, before standing up and opening her eyes and looking at old man Hayato and gave him a smile before speaking.

"You do know it isn't really polite to throw stones at people." She said while still smiling at him while tossing one of the up in her hand and catching it.

Old man Hayato gave a small laugh, "It is true never should any cast the first stone without reason." He said as he sat on the pouch and stroked his beard with his eyes closed.

Kagome tilted her head to the side and gave him a smirk, "And what would be your reasoning for casting the first stone?" she asked really enjoying the word play, she knew from when she first met Hayato that she would really enjoy his company and she was proven right.

While still stroking his beard while looking like he was truly thinking hard about her question before finally speaking.

"To see how aware of your surrendering you truly were. Not many even some masters when in a state of mind like you were are aware enough to no someone was near them let alone catch multiply objects thrown at them. And even knowing that the objects thrown weren't truly weapons, not many would catch things thrown at them with their eyes closed." He said while opening his eyes and looking at Kagome were she stood still smirking at him.

"That is true but still not many have that talent even fewer who can catch weapons thrown at them with their eyes closed. I had to learn the hard way about that so now I don't really react to anything thrown at me because wither a weapon or a rock I was taught to catch it without hurting myself." She said while looking away from Hayato and looking up at the sky while still tossing the stone in her hand.

Hayato gave a humming sound before speaking, "And why would you do such a thing not many let alone someone as young as you would train to be a master at such a young age?" he asked while stilling looking at her.

Kagome gave a dry laugh as she thought about Sesshomaru and how he trained her. She really didn't think even some of the masters here could survive what Sesshomaru called training. Still looking up at the sky she decided to answer him. It really didn't bother her that she knew the other masters and her uncle were ease dropping while the two talked.

Looking back at Hayato she gave him a smile even though she knew it didn't reach her eyes and judging by how his eyes widened just a little he saw it.

"Like some many I was trained by someone else and well let's just put it like this, he was very old fashion he didn't believe in using practice equipment. While I trained under him everything truly was life or death, learn and survive and live or fail and maybe be injured or even dead." She said while looking at him and this time he didn't even try and hide the widening of his eyes she couldn't help but laugh as she could feel the horror in the other master's auras as they listened.

"Let's just put it like this it is true I basically risked my life to have the training but in the end it was worth it. There are some things I wish I could have differently but I know I can't change the past only learn from it." She said while moving the stones through her fingers before flicking her wrists and sending the stones rushing and hitting all the areas that the others stood near.

"All of you can come out now since you have been the"re since before he threw the stones." She said while smiling at seeing all their auras turn too shocked. She watched as they all came out and looked at her she couldn't help but give a laugh at their expressions before moving forward and looking up at her uncle.

"Uncle Aki I think I would enjoy sparring with you today if you are to it." She said while still smiling up at her uncle.

Akisame reached up and rubbed his chin after seeing his niece fight two other masters he was truly wondering how skilled she was and decided to test her.

"That is fine my dear do you want to spar not or after breakfast?" he asked even though he was hoping she would decide to wait so she could eat and rest just a little bit.

"After breakfast would fine uncle Aki." She said while giving him a smile before smiling at the others and giving them a quick bow before hurrying off to help Miu make breakfast.

After everyone had, had breakfast and she helped Miu clean everything up she was once again back outside, but this time she was getting ready to fight against her uncle. She already knew he had seen her fight three times and would have an idea of how she fought so she knew she would have to handle him differently. She also remembered from when she was younger and he taught her he was a master of Jujitsu and would be able to handle turning her own body against her.

Once she was ready she decided that this time instead of waiting for her opponent to strike first she got into a fighting pose while watching him. She quickly could find the only weak spots she could see and moved quickly.

Running forward she acted like she was going to aim a kick at his body when he moved to block she threw her weight down and slide on her hands and aimed a kick at his feet. When he moved quickly but not fast enough she still got his foot as he moved. Quickly moving her hands and weight she pushed off the ground and aimed a kick at his head again he dodged but again not fast enough and she caught his chin sending him back a few feet.

Landing back on her feet she didn't wait and rushed forward and grabbed his shirt and kicked his ankle before using the momentum and throwing him over her shoulder. When he landed he was quickly back on his feet and rushed her. She could see her uncle was finally starting to understand he couldn't treat her like a normal opponent and she knew he would try getting close to her and decided to let him.

Once he was on her like with Sakaki she dodged his attacks with speed and watched his moves to have a better understanding of his fighting style. Once she had an idea she decided to see if he could dodge her again moving quickly she brought her arms up and started blocking him. Moving with a quick strike she hit the pressure point on his right shoulder making his right arm useless. Deciding to finish it quickly she hit the other pressure points in his left arm, sides and stomach making him freeze since he couldn't really move his body.

Jumping back from him she looked at him and gave him a smile, "Don't worry uncle Aki I didn't put enough pressure on those points to do any lasting damage just enough to freeze your body." She told him while giving a laugh at the look on his face, he was shocked but had a question look on his face and she decided to answer his unasked question which she knew the others were wondering as well.

"I studied the human body while I was learning and was learned all the pressure points in the body that can either stop someone for a short time, do major damage, or if I had no other choice even kill someone." She said before moving toward him and jabbing areas again and watching as he stood quickly and moved and rubbed his arms to get feeling again.

"Kagome I have never seen anyone ever fight like you some of your movements I see so many different styles in your fighting. Which should even be possible it is true some fighters can use two maybe three different styles but, yours there is many different styles. How is that possible?" he asked while staring at her in wonder.

Glancing over she noticed that the others had similar looks on their faces as well. She gave a sigh before reaching up and rubbing her neck while rolling her head before looking back at her uncle.

"It was just the style I was taught uncle, but you have to remember all fighting styles started from the same somewhere down the line but turned different with different people till you had a whole different and new style." She said while looking up at him.

"That is true but still whoever taught you taught you to a skill that I have never seen before. But I would love to have a better understanding of it if you don't mind?" Akisame asked while moving forward and putting his hand on her shoulder and smiling at her.

Kagome gave him a smile, "Not really much to learn Aki. When I asked about the style myself my master told me it was the one he was taught from his father, and his father learned from his father. He truly never really spoke much about it just enough to correct any errors I had at the time." She said.

She knew she couldn't tell him that the style was actually the first true style but humans who had seen it copied it and over time made their own styles of fighting over the years. She really didn't think her uncle or the others would understand just yet how she could learn something like that.

Not really giving the others time to ask questions she told her uncle that she wanted to finish getting everything ready and getting settled in. After he nodded his head she spent the rest of the enjoyable weekend trying to avoid certain questions which was actually easy by making them change the topic of their own free will.

End Flashback.

Kagome smiled and laughed as she walked with Miu and Kenichi going to school. Really it was mostly laughing a Kenichi moaning from what her uncle and the other masters did to him during training. She really didn't have the heart to tell him what he was doing would have looked like heaven to her when she was learning from Sesshomaru.

Once the arrived at the school Kagome waved them off as she went to pick up her schedule as she walked toward the office, she couldn't help but wish that school was over already so she could spend time with Shougo.

He wouldn't tell her what they were doing after school just told her to bring extra clothes to change into after school. And promising that it would be worth it and she would like if not love it, she couldn't stop smiling as she thought about it. Just thinking about it made her think that the first day would be great since she had something to look forward to. With that thought she opened the office door to get her schedule not really worrying wither something could go wrong or not.
