***Chapter 23***

Kagome couldn't help but marvel that this school was bigger than her last and at first she was a little worried about now finding the right classroom. But luck was on her side when the woman in the office had another student lead her to her class which by the time she got there had already started. When she knocked on the door she stood back a little as the teacher opened the door and looked at her.

Not even reacting to the look the teacher gave her she held out the paper she had gotten in the office and watched as the teacher looked it over, before looking at her and nodding and motioning for her to follow him inside.

Once inside the classroom Kagome couldn't help but notice that in the back of the classroom was a boy with long whitish silver hair and seemed to have a hat not far from him. She looked to the other side of the room and saw a woman with really short brown hair who even in her uniform Kagome could see her muscles and knew this woman was a fighter.

Kagome didn't even really react when the teacher said her name and told everyone to treat her well, when the teacher asked her if she wanted to share anything about herself. She looked at him and raised an eyebrow and hardened her eyes which made the teacher flinch before telling her to sit at the desk beside the silver haired boy.

Kagome didn't really pay attention once class started after she saw that everything the teacher was going over was things that she for once already knew. Instead she went ahead and started reading ahead and didn't notice that she was spinning her pen very quickly in her hand, but there was two that noticed.

Kagome couldn't help but sigh and glad that most of the classes seemed really easy to her and was looking forward to her next class which was phys-ed she was actually looking forward to it. As she was getting ready to change clothes she looked out the window and saw Kenichi one the roof of another building fighting someone.

Kagome didn't even think before opening the window and flipping out before moving quickly across and heading toward where Kenichi was and hoped she could help him. She quickly moved and got to the roof and sat on the top of the roof where the door was and watched, she couldn't help but notice a large guy on the ground not far away and figured Kenichi or this boy with the pony tail knocked him out.

Looking over she watched and noticed that the boy fighting Kenichi never removed his left hand from his pocket and couldn't help but wonder why. When they started fighting she knew right away that this boy was a boxer by the way he stood and punched, when he never used his left arm she knew he couldn't use it. When he started beating Kenichi she couldn't help wonder if Kenichi would figure out a boxer's weakness is their legs since in boxing they never truly use them other than to add power to their punches.

Kagome sat on the edge and watched and raised her hand and rested her head on it and couldn't help but smile a little when Kenichi finally figured it out. When he started really laying into the other guy she couldn't help but notice out of all the teaching he was getting he was really relaying on Apachai's style of fighting with his knees and elbows. And she couldn't help but notice that with a few good pressure points hit he would be in trouble with that style of fighting.

So caught up in her thoughts she almost missed Kenichi kneeing the guy, but quickly froze when the ring of an alarm went off. Kagome raised an eyebrow wondering what was going on till she heard Kenichi speak.

"The bell. Three minute break right?" he asked while pointing at the clock and she couldn't help the sweat drop that appeared.

It seemed the other guy wasn't expecting that either and laughed while calling Kenichi an idiot. Before correcting him.

"It's one minute! One minute break!" before moving away from Kenichi and that was when Kagome finally noticed the chalk lines and noticed that they were in a box. Tilting her head she couldn't help but think she had seen it before, closing her eyes she started to think where she had seen it before. Opening her eyes quickly she smiled when she remembered her old school, it was a boxing ring. Feeling proud of herself she hadn't heard most of the conversation since she was lost in thought, she was pulled from her thoughts when she finally heard Kenichi ask something.

"Why did you stop boxing?"Kenichi asked

Kagome closed her eyes and wondered if Kenichi ever heard the term don't ask the unspoken question? When the other guy glared at Kenichi she looked at him and couldn't help but wonder herself why someone with that much talent, even with one arm would give up their sport.

"You…You ask that matter so flatly? If you're not careful your friends won't like you very much." He said.

Kagome couldn't help but shake her head when Kenichi looked startled and meekly answered back.

"I won't ask again next time." And judging by the look on the other's guy face she had a feeling hers' looked the same slightly startled she turned her attention back to the other guy when he spoke.

"Oh well, it doesn't matter if they don't like you or not…? If they're the kinda bastards…Who abandons the friend who comes to save them and runs away by themselves! Besides thing like friends, you're better off without them…..Then you won't lose anything… Like I did!" He said while looking quite serious.

Kagome understood then what had happened he went to help a friend and ended up hurt while his friend went on without him she honestly didn't understand how people could be like that. Thoughts of what had happened in the past and how she and everyone was betrayed by one they thought was a friend, and the pain from that betrayal.

As she listened to what he said about his friend she couldn't help but think of how his friend basically used him since he knew he was the better fighter. She was slightly surprised when the bell went off and how quickly he hit Kenichi, this guy really wanted to finish it quickly. She couldn't help but wonder why he was in such a hurry till she say his leg quivering and the quick flash of pain in his face. He was trying to end it before he couldn't fight anymore.

She listened as the guy told the rest of his story before beating on Kenichi before Kenichi used Apachai's move a knee to the face and knocked him back, and through the broke fence. Kagome moved quickly and grabbed Kenichi as he grabbed the other boy.

"K..Kagome!?" Kenichi yelled while looking back at her.

"Don't worry about the how or why right now Kenichi pull him up." She said while holding on to him as he told the other guy to use his other arm.

"Kenichi he can't use that arm, you are going to have to pull him up and hurry you two are not light." Kagome said while moving to get a better grip.

"What how!?" Kenichi asked while still trying to pull him up.

"Right now is not really the time to find out Kenichi!" Kagome said while giving a tug to pull him back over the side.

When Takeda started mouthing off about how friendship wasn't truly wroth it and Kenichi not agreeing with him, Kagome was starting to get pissed at the time they were both wasting.

"If you don't stop talking and start pulling I am just going to let go of both of you." Kagome said while glaring at Kenichi as he turned his head and looked at her with wide eyes.

When Takeda was close enough and was holding himself up with one arm, Kagome gave a huge pull on Kenichi and pulled them both over before the tall guy Kenichi knocked out appear and grab Takeda. Leaning back Kagome leaned back on her hands while Kenichi laid on the ground looking like he would pass out. She was getting ready to say something Miu kicked the door open and saw, how everything looked.

Moving quickly before Miu could attack the boys she appeared in front of her and hit the pressure points in both arms, and legs making her freeze in place.

"K..K..Kagome what are you doing they hurt Kenichi!?" Miu said while looking at Kagome not understanding why she did what she did.

Kagome gave a sigh a looked at Miu before looking back at the guys.

"Yes, Miu they did fight Kenichi, but he won right now he is in shock over pulling the long haired guy back from over the side of the building. So please calm down and I will let you move again ok?" Kagome asked while looking at the younger girl who started to blush when she realized that she had jumped the gun.

"Okay, Kagome I won't do anything I was just worried I saw them from my classroom and then when I got here I guess I jumped to the wrong conclusion." Miu said while still blushing and looking at Kagome with sad puppy dog eyes.

Kagome gave her a smile before moving her hands and releasing the points she had hit before turning and moving toward the guys.

"It's ok Miu I can understand and if I had shown up like you did I would have probably done the same as you, but right now these three are hurt and I think need medical attention so why don't we take them to she uncle and get them fixed up." Kagome said while giving Miu a smile over her shoulder before looking at the guys and smiling at them.

It didn't take them long to get the Akisame's office and Kagome and Miu had an arm from one of the guys over their shoulders. Miu was helping Kenichi while Kagome was stuck in the middle of Takeda and his friend helping them along. When they got to the door Miu opened it, once they all walked in they saw Akisame standing their looking them over, before frowning at the two guys beside of Kagome both with an arm around her.

"So what happened?" Akisame asked while still frowning.

Kagome could tell by the way he looked and sounded that her uncle wasn't happy and decided to try and defuse anything before something happened.

"Uncle Aki, can you look after these three they got into a fight and this is how we ended up here? I figured you are the best so why not take them to the best." She said while smiling up at her uncle and seeing that he puffed up in pride at hearing her say she thought he was the best.

"Okay let's get started." Akisame said while moving forward to help get the boys off of the girls, well the two off of his niece really.

It didn't take long for Akisame to get the big guy patched up and letting him sleep it off before moving to Kenichi and working on him. Once done with Kenichi, Akisame looked over at Takeda while wiping his hands after washing them.

"The problem is…with the boxer looking guy over there…" Akisame said while looking over at Takeda and Kagome could tell her uncle saw what she saw right away.

"I'm okay…I am use to these kinds of injuries." Takeda said while touching his face.

"He wasn't talking about those he was talking about your arm." Kagome said while moving forward to stand beside her uncle.

"How did you I never said anything to him so how would he know?" Takeda asked while looking shocked.

"It is because I am a professional." Akisame said while moving forward and touching his shoulder between the neck and shoulder. "You was treated by a quack who only manages to set the fracture in your arm! But the reason why your arm doesn't move is because your spine is bent putting pressure on your nerves!" He said before putting pressure on the spot which caused Takeda pain and immediately used said arm to swing at Akisame before pain set back in and made the arm useless again.

"What the hell happened? It moved right!" Takeda asked while looking at everyone to make sure they say him move his arm.

"Well yes your arm moved, because my uncle just removed the pressure on the nerve in your neck and shoulder for a short amount of time. Like he said the doctor who healed you was a quack, because every good healer knows you must take everything in while healing, from nerves, muscle tissue, tendons, bones, blood flow in the area, to even the skin itself." Kagome said while still looking at him and giving him a smile.

Takeda still looked shocked before looking a little hopefully before asking.

"By…any chance, it can be healed?...My left arm?" he asked.

"Of course it can be healed! Naturally…To me, it's a treatment with a low level of difficulty." Akisame said.

"Uh…but still boxing is still too much right?" Takeda asked while looking at Akisame.

"Boxing!? Don't joke around!" Akisame said while Kagome was smiling softly to herself knowing that her uncle could heal Takeda's arm better than new. And the looks on Kenichi's, Miu's, and Takeda's faces when he said that.

"You can even become a world champion of arm wrestler." Akisame said while the three looked happy Kagome looked up at her uncle and gave him a smile.

"You scared them for a little while there uncle Aki." Kagome said before leaning and giving him a hug.

"True, but sometimes people need it." Akisame said while returning the hug before looking at her, "So since I take it you aren't going back to school what do you plan on doing now?" he asked while looking at her.

"Well I plan to go back at least long enough to get my bag and homework I guess then I might wonder around and explore some more." She said still not really ready to tell him about Shogo since she saw how he reacted to her just helping the boys, she didn't want to know what he would do if he learned she was actually seeing someone right now.

"That's fine just be safe and call me if you need me alright?" He asked before kissing the crown of her head gently looking at her.

"Always Aki, and I will call if I am going to run late for supper tonight." She said before moving toward the door and waving at everyone before leaving.
