A/N: Do not get confused here. But I have decided to re-do the story for the most part so I am editing the f*** out of it while I still can.

Just as Hailey, spelt with an I had said before, the next day at school she and Jake had seen each other again. Jake could easily pick the girl out from the crowd today, because she wore a dark purple halter top with a wavy H on it, dark-washed capree-pants, and matching ballet flats. Eh, a normal enough outfit, and yet it still seemed to make her stand out. Though it might have been the duplicate next to her who looked just like her only her top and shoes were pink, her jeans light-wash that made her stand out. Funny, they were almost like those Bizzaro copies from one of Spud's weird comics.

"Hm, that must be Kati." Jake figured as he made his way over to the two girls.

Upon arriving, he rose his hand to wave at them, only to be cut up mid-wave(?) by the two girls turning and smiling before uttering their own greeting.

"Hello." Both girl's greeted in unison, in a way answering his question as the identity of the second girl.

Hailey smiled and put a hand on her sister's shoulder. Despite hardly knowing the boy in front of her, the over all way that Hailey held her posture during their greeting gave off the impression that she was in fact on friendly terms with him. Kati on the other hand, was a bit more conserved when it came to this newcomer, her way of holding her body was that of one who is unsure as of yet.

"Kati this is - Jake right?" Hailey began, stopping briefly as she tried to recall the name.

"Right and nice to meet you Kati." Jake responded, holding out his hand and shaking hands awkwardly with the other girl.

Her hold on his hand was firm like how a teacher would but it was also loose, like she wanted to let go as soon as possible. It only last for two seconds though, so it was difficult to really tell which one it was. Anyhow, Kati did seem to brighten up a tad now that she knew that this newcomer (Ironic) was friendly.

"Nice to meet you as well." She said sweetly, but then frowned and quickly turned to her sister. " I forgot my gym uniform in Baron's car! I'm going to go ask him for it. Talk to you later sis."

And with that Kati turned away and raced off, stopping a piece away from the two other teens when she came to a rather tall male with tan skin and black hair much like theirs (minus the red streak he had). He really looked like he didn't want to be there, but upon seeing Kati rush over, a ghost of a smile appeared on his face. It could safely be assumed that this was Baron.

"Brother?" Jake guessed out loud.

"Yeah, but its hard to tell sometimes." Hailey answered, giggling a bit at her own answer.

"Cool." He muttered, not really knowing how to respond but not wanting to end the conversation yet.

"Yeah." She muttered running her fingers through her ponytailed hair before gesturing to their homeroom class.

The other nodded in some kind of response but neither teen moved at first. After about a good minute of silence Hailey spoke up quickly and started off on her own.

"Bell is going to ring soon, so we should probably-." She paused when Jake looked up at her, finally realizing what she was getting at.

With that he stuffed his hands in his pockets and started off down the hall. They were silently judging one another for most of the walk. That was until the long, grueling walk down the hallway finally got to the two of them and Jake finally spoke up, picking the first topic that popped into his head.

"So... You read Madame Blue Jay?" He said completely at random. "You know my friend Spud reads those books also."

"Is he the one that wears that green hat?" Hailey asked, receiving a nod for an answer. "Yes, I met him, he let me borrow his copy of Book Four."

"Is it any good?" He mentally slapped himself at least six times.

Those books were intended for young girl's or creepy 47-year-old stalkers who watched My Little Pony and/or Strawberry Shortcake, not for a fourteen year old boy who already had low street credit.

"Honestly?" She sounded surprised that he was even asking.

"My sister reads them, she's stuck on book three." He lied quickly, shrugging his shoulders a bit.

It was his sister he was talking about after all, and he never knew what she was reading. Regardless, the lie did save him from embarrassment, and it did keep the conversation flowing.

"But in all honesty no. Its pretty bad so far compared to the other books. So you can tell your sister that much." Hailey responded simply.

"Whats so bad about it? Can't just tell her its bad without a reason." Jake stated next, shrugging his shoulders a little bit.

"Well Rochelle, which is the main character of book three makes another appearance as the guardian over Tarax shortly after Phoenix's apparent death which would be impossible because in book three she gets ensnared in the Ace of Hearts trying to protect the group from the Siege. Its kind of stupid also because Ebony is now part of the Siege and they trust her even though she is clearly a member of the order. Oh and don't tell your sister this but spoiler alert the secondary leader of the Order is really Phoenix." Hailey said rather quickly and only paused once to take a breath.

"Wow. That truly is stupid." Jake said, dumbstruck. "You've really got your material down."

"I've been reading them since book one and I've seen all of the movies, so you can kind of call me a fan of them." She shrugged simply. "But they're not as bad as everyone says they are."

"Yeah right." Jake muttered rolling his eyes.

"Its true though. Here, borrow my book One." Reaching into her backpack she pulled out a blue bonded book that almost looked like a very old diary and handed it to him.

"No thanks." He politely declined, nudging the book away. "Come one, we should get to class now."

She nodded and was about to put the book away but stopped and handed it back to him.

"This is the original manuscript for the book. Your sister might be interested in it." She said handing it to him. "Especially if shes a fan of them."

Rather then declining the book again, this time he took it and put it into his backpack and continued on to class. When they got there Hailey went to her seat and he went to his. Pulling the book back out he flipped through the first couple of pages and desided to at least take a glimpse at it.

'Phoenix growled at Camilla, a new fire burning in his eyes. It disgusted him that such things could even come from the woman's mouth. Her attempt at making him seem like the enemy left a bitter taste in his mouth as he shot back his own insult. "That's where you're wrong, whore! I would never place my hands on Rochelle! She is my little sister and I love her. I would never do her any harm in any way shape or form!"'

There was a list of things going through Jake's mind at that first passage. 'Looks like we've got a badass over here', 'Wow, that escalated quickly', 'This is kind of dorky and I wonder what this guys deal is', and the most important thought. 'Look sharp! Teachers here.'
