When Maya and Katy came out of the hallway to rejoin the party, those included in the planning looked up expectantly. Cory and Topanga were holding hands and sitting comfortably on the couch, Shawn was sitting on one chair, and Angela was sitting on another. Riley was standing near the couch, eagerly awaiting their arrival.

"Shawn?" Katy said as she walked to the group.

"Yeah?" he answered.

"I'd like to talk to you, if that's alright."

"Yeah, sure," he said. Many thoughts were going through his head. Was Katy going to scold him for something with Maya? Was it going to be about Maya at all? Mostly, however, he was worrying that he would say something stupid in front of Katy.

Shawn stood and went over to Katy.

"Can we go to your room please?" Katy asked. "Just looking for a quiet place."

"Okay, let's go," Shawn said. His heart was beating fast and he led her into the hallway to his room.

Riley looked at Maya and saw her raise her eyebrows in excitement. This made Riley excited as well. Riley smiled in response and began wondering what was going on.

Then Auggie went to Riley and asked, "Can you play with me? I haven't gotten to play all. Day," he said dramatically.

"Sorry, bud, but I think Maya and I need to talk," Riley said, still maintaining excited eye contact with her best friend.

Auggie then went to Angela and asked, "Will you play with me?"

Angela was surprised that he asked her, but she wanted to leave a good impression on him, so she said, "Okay, sure, Auggie!"

"Don't you want to play with us, Bubba?" Cory asked.

"You're my parents! I see you all the time. I'm looking for new games," Auggie said, as if it were obvious.

Angela laughed and stood.

"So what do you want to play?" she asked him.

"Hmm, I don't know. I'll show you my car collection first!" he said, grabbing her hand and leading her to his room.

After they were safely out of earshot, Riley said, "I'm going to go talk to Maya."

"Don't you think we could all talk together?" Topanga asked.

"Mom, I'm her best friend. I have to know all of this before anyone else!" Riley said, walking to her room.

"Well, I guess that leaves just us," Cory said.

"Yeah," Topanga said enticingly. "I don't know what to do!"

Cory raised his eyebrows and then leaned in to kiss her.

"Cory!" Topanga said. "We're not actually alone! Everyone's just in the other room!"

Cory made a face and then sat back against the couch.

Topanga laughed at him and leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Are you sure you're happy about the baby?" she asked.

"Topanga, I couldn't be happier. I love you. And I'm so excited! I'm going to be a daddy again!" he said, grinning at her. "Thank you for making me a daddy again."

"Thank you for making me a mommy again," she said, looking up at him.

"There's just one thing. What are you going to do about work?" he asked.

Topanga sighed. "I don't know. I mean, obviously I'm going to have to take time off. That's unavoidable. But I don't want to. I'm excited to have the baby, but I'll miss work."

"I know, honey. But I'm proud of you."

"Why are you proud of me?" she asked, confused.

"Because all you think about is the family. You didn't even say anything about that until I brought it up. And even now, you're dismissing that as if it were nothing. You're so brave," he said, looking lovingly at her.

"Well I have to be," she said, laughing. "I let you talk me into too much stuff!"

"Yeah, I do that sometimes," he said grinning. "But really, Topanga. I can't believe how brave you are sometimes. Even after knowing you for all these years, you continue to amaze me."

Topanga felt tears coming to her eyes at hearing those words.

"Are you crying?" he asked her, chuckling.

"Yeah," she answered, laughing.

He reached his thumb to her eye and gently wiped away a tear.

"Don't cry," he said.

"I can't help it," she said, still laughing. "Can hormones kick in this early?" she asked.

"I don't know," he continued laughing.

"Cory, you're the one amazing me," she said. "It's every girl's dream to have a husband say those words to her. And somehow, I'm lucky enough to be the one that gets to live a fairytale. I actually have a Prince Charming."

"Don't even try to make me cry!" he said, smiling at her. Then he looked down at her stomach, which would be expanding with room for his future child in the next few months. He put his hand on her stomach and said, "This baby is going to make us even happier, loving each other even more." Topanga smiled at his sweetness.

Suddenly he realized that they had moved closer and closer during their conversation and were now nearly nose to nose.

He decided to take his chances- of either being scolded again or being even more appreciated- and slowly leaned the small space to kiss her. He took his hand off of her stomach and lifted her chin.

It worked in his favor, as Topanga kissed him back softly. They continued their careful kiss until-

"Ahem," Shawn said from the doorway. "Yeah, I'm the one that's in danger of making out on the couch," he said, chuckling.

"Shawn, you ruined a perfect moment!" Cory said, obviously frustrated. "And it's my couch! I can do what I want!"

Topanga started laughing and said, "Yes, it is." She leaned forward and gave him a quick kiss before standing up from the couch.

Cory frowned and watched her stand, upset that this time was interrupted.

When Cory still didn't say anything, Topanga looked back at him. He was still leaning toward where she was sitting, as if she could slide back into her seat and continue the moment.

She grabbed his chin and said, "Hey. You'll get your moment back eventually."

"You hear that?" Cory said to Shawn. "Eventually. That means in a long time. Thanks, Shawn!" he said sarcastically.

"So what did you guys talk about?" Topanga asked.

Cory asked, "Wait, where's Katy?"

I completely adored writing this chapter simply because of the Corpanga. I'm a big Corpanga shipper, so this made me super happy to write.

Also, big cliffhanger!
