Hi guys! Sorry I updated a bit late again, I'm so tired and have a ton of homework and projects I have yet to get started on and tests I need to study for, also I have new nephew! He was born 1 February he's such a cutie o/o However despite having school, my internship to worry about first I wanna blow of some steam and write a chapter for you! Of course I'll try to add more Amuto moments, let's just get started.

Ikuto's POV
"Guys, where's my bathing suit?" Dia yelled through the house "Yaya can't find her lollipop!" Yaya cried. "AMU GET OUT OF THE BATHROOM I NEED TO CHANGE!" Utau shouted angrily. "BECAUSE OF THAT DAMN SHOUTING IT'S GONNA TAKE EVEN MORE TIME!" Amu shouted back just as angrily.
"Why does this always happen when we try to go to the beach?" Kukai sighed. "Because girls are such complicated beings" I explained. "Indeed they are" Kairi agreed.
"Don't worry, I learned this from Ran" Daichi said and then got up walking towards the staircase. "GIRLS HURRY THE FUCK UP OR I'LL THROW AWAY ALL THE CHOCOLATE!" Daichi shouted up the stairs. "WHAT?!" The girls all shouted in unison. "YOU HEARD ME!" Daichi shouted back.
"Wow, language Daichi" Yoru said. "Trust me it always works" Daichi winked at us. "Dude, that was so gay" Kukai said in disgust and I chuckled a bit.
"S-Shut up!" Daichi said a bit flushed. "What tsundere…" Kairi muttered. "Man, don't give me this crap" Daichi sweat dropped.
"Tsuntsun" Nagi said and we all laughed. "We shouldn't tease him so much guys…" Tadase started. "Thank you!" Daichi said satisfied.
"After all tsunderes are very hotheaded" Tadase teased. "Seriously, even you Tadase and I thought you were the nice guy!" Daichi cried. "Gomen, Souma-kun" Tadase apologized. (A/N Ah I forgot to mention, Daichi is Kukai's older brother)
"Okay, were ready" Miki said walking down the stairs with all the girls following.
"R-Rima, what's with that huge sun hat?" Ran asked. "Tanning is bad for your skin, it destroys the fibers in your skin that keeps it looking firm and smooth and that causes freckles, blotches and wrinkles and tanning or sunburn can cause skin cancer" Rima explained.
"Wow, is it really that bad for you?" Utau asked a bit worried, being such a beauty queen and all. "Mashiro-san is right, tanning and sunburn are indeed bad for your skin" Kairi agreed. (A/N It's true, it's really bad for your skin).
"Okay, whatever let's just go to the beach" Dia sighed. "Yeah, I'm hot" Amu agreed. "Yes, you are" I smirked. "Shut up you pervert!" She blushed.
"Please explain, how am I a pervert?" I asked. "You looked through my underwear and you tried to look under my skirt once, you also always make perverted comments" She explained. "Okay, you win…" I sweat dropped.
"Are you lovers ready or not?" Kukai sighed. "WE'RE NOT LOVERS!" We shouted in unison. "Sure you aren't" Utau rolled her eyes.
"Who would want to be lovers with this pervert?" Amu asked absolutely disgusted. "Any sane human, but who would want to be lovers with such a feisty kid?" I teased. "I'm not a kid!" She yelled. "Sure you aren't" I rolled my eyes. "We're only like 5 months apart" She scoffed.
"By the way Amu, when is your birthday?" Utau asked. "This Sunday" She said. "Oh, that's so soon Yaya needs to by a present and set up a surprise party and get cake and invite people and-" Yaya panicked.
"Yuiki-san it's no use setting up a surprise party when Hinamori now already knows" Kairi sighed. "Yaya, will definitely surprise Amu and Yaya told you to stop calling her Yuiki-san" She whined.
"No, that's okay I don't like my birthday anyway" Amu explained. Who doesn't like their birthday? Must be a reason behind that…
"Let's just go to the beach already!" Ran cheered. "Ran's right we should get going" Daichi stated already heading for the door.
"I'm gonna swim like my life depends on it" Kukai stretched himself. "I bet I can swim faster than you" Utau dared him. "Bring it on" He grinned and ran towards the beach with Utau while exchanging competitive glares.
"They're always the same" Nagi sighed. "Even though they're dating they're still each other's worst enemies" Yoru chuckled.
"Su aren't you coming?" Tadase asked. "I'll come later, first I'm just going to prepare some snacks and drinks for everyone ~desu" Su explained.
"Well I'm heading for a beach walk anyone care to join me?" Tadase asked. "Sure I'll go I've been wanting to explore this place so might as well do it now" Nagi said. "What about you guys?" He asked glancing at Yoru, Amu and me.
"Well I'm gonna go to Miki" Yoru walked off. "I'm good" Amu said. "Me too" I agreed.
"Well, see you guys later" Tadase waved and walked off with Nagi.
"So…" I said trying to start a conversation. "What?" Amu asked. "Well, it's just the two of us… What now?" I asked. "Dunno" She shrugged.
"How about I learn you to swim?" I offered. "Nope" She said. "You rejected so fast…" I mumbled.
"I-I don't want to learn how to s-swim from a pervert l-like you" She stuttered. "Oh, don't tell me you're scared" I smirked. "I-I'm not!" She denied.
"Little Amu is scared…" I teased. "Shut up!" She punched me in the stomach. "Oof- So much for wanting to help you" I tried to catch my breath, damn that was one hell of a punch.
"S-Sorry, I'm just not sure about this…" She mumbled shyly …Wow, that was really cute.
"You can trust me" I gave her a reassuring smile. "But you have to stop punching me" I smirked and she giggled.
"Erm… Okay, but you better not let me drown" She agreed a bit hesitantly. "Wouldn't dream of it" I said.
"Pinky promise?" She stuck out her pinky finger. "Pinky promise" I said and wrapped my pinky finger around her small one.
"Okay…" Amu took a deep breath. "Let's go" She said, tied her hair up and cracked her knuckles. "We're just going to swim y'know, we're not going on a battlefield" I sighed.
"I feel safer in a battle stance" She said. "How so?" I raised an eyebrow. "Because like this I'm on guard and I'm ready for any danger" She explained. "I see" I nodded.
"Let's just swim" I grabbed her hand and headed towards the ocean. "Okay, you ready?" I asked. "Yeah" She nodded.
"Okay now turn around so you're facing the beach" I let go of her hand and she turned around, I then put my hands on her back.
"What are you doing?" She asked. "Go lay on your back so you'll float on the water, I'll hold you so you won't drown" I instructed.
She just nodded and laid on her back, wow even upside down she looks beautiful.. Ugh- What am I thinking?! Lately I get kind of nervous around Amu, I don't know why I just feel so self-conscious when I'm around her.
I wonder how she feels about me… "Hey Amu, how do you feel about me?" I widened my eyes right after I said it. Shit! I didn't mean to say it, it just came out like that.
"I like you" She answered, and it seemed my heart skipped a beat, no way… Could it be?
"What do you mean?" I asked. "Well, you're a total pervert… But you are very sweet and caring, it's also really easy to just talk to you. Y'know I just don't feel any pressure. In the beginning I did but when I became friends with you I found out you aren't such a bad guy, after all. I like you, you're a great friend" She smiled.
You're a great friend… You're a great friend… You're a great friend. Wow, that hurts. I feel like she just stuck a dagger in my heart.
Yeah, dammit I fell in love!
A part of me feels warm and happy and just wants to hold her and kiss her, but another part just wants to forget about these feelings since Amu's a good friend and she obviously doesn't feel the same way.
Unrequited love, I suppose.
Amu's POV
"Alright, I'm going to let go now Amu" Ikuto said. "W-Wait don't let go!" I said grabbing onto his arm.
"Are you scared?" He asked. It's not that I'm scared, I just don't want him to let go I feel so warm and comfy when he's holding me…
"F-Fine let go, I'll prove I'm not scared" I stubbornly said. Though when he let go and the warm and comfy feel left and I kind'a regretted saying it, damn stubborn character that I have.
"Look Amu you're floating on the water!" Ikuto smiled. "Huh?! Am I?" I asked. "Yeah, good job… How does it feel?" He asked. "It feels nice, as lying on a cloud" I closed my eyes.
"Not that I know how a cloud feels or anything, I'm just guessing…" I corrected myself nervously. "Okay got it" He laughed.
"Alright now move your arms and legs in circular motion" He instructed. So I tried doing it and I swam forward. "Ikuto! I'm doing it! Look I'm swimming!" I smiled.
"You're a fast learner but now how about swim on your stomach, so just turn around" He said. I got back on my feet turned towards Ikuto. "So, am I just supposed lay flat on my stomach?" I asked. "No, silly" He chuckled.
"Look here's what you do…" He paused stood behind me and put his hands on mine and intertwined our fingers.
"First you move your arms in circular motion like this-" He whispered in my ear.
His voice sounds husky and his hair is brushing against my cheek. My cheeks heated up. "Got it?" He suddenly asked.
"Huh? Sorry I didn't catch that last part" I apologized, crap I wasn't even paying attention!
"You move your arms in circular motion like this, then when you launch forward you also move legs in circular motion, heard it this time?" He sighed. "Y-Yeah" I nodded.
"Alright I'm going to let go… Now" He said and let me go so I could swim, I followed his instructions exactly and I did it. I, Hinamori Amu can now officially swim!
"Ikuto look I'm doing it! I can swim!" I said proudly. "Good job, strawberry" Ikuto chuckled and ruffled my hair.
"Thanks Ikuto" I smiled and gave him a hug, he hugged me back. I backed off and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Then I blushed furiously realizing what I had just done, though I think I also so a faint blush on Ikuto's cheeks, might've been mistaken though.
Ikuto noticed my blush and smirked. "Don't tell me you're falling for me Amu" He smirked. "A-As if!" I scoffed.
"W-Who would f-fall in l-l-love with a pervert like y-you!" I stuttered still furiously blushing. "I wonder who would…" I heard him mumble. "What do you mean?" I raised a brow.
"Nothing" He answered so I shrugged it off.
But I couldn't help but wonder, does Ikuto like someone? When I think about Ikuto liking some girl, I feel sort of sad and lonely.
