Ikuto's POV

"Alright guys, since this is our last night at the beach how 'bout we watch a scary movie together?" I immediately tensed up when Kukai offered that.

It's a dark night, all of our friends are here and we're watching a scary movie. Well I'm fucked, that bastard knows I'm scared of horror films. It's his privilege as a best friend to know, but I now immensely regret telling him about my fear of scary movies.

I shot him a glare and he just gave me a teasing grin. Oh you are so on man, when this is over you are dead meat Kukai, dead meat!

I heard everyone agree and Kukai then purposely looked at me "What about you Ikuto, you in?" A hint of mischief was visible in his eyes.

"Oh I am so in, can't wait to hear which movie we're going to watch" I smirked as I saw that hint of mischief turn into straight-out disappointment. Ikuto one, Kukai zero.

"Well, I have three movies you guys can vote"

After voting out of the three scary movies, and they indeed are all scary, Insidious won I've never seen the movie so I have no idea what I'm getting myself into.

Three movies? Damn Kukai, you prepared this didn't you? Oh my revenge on you is going to be sweet, slow and painful.

Kukai changed all the settings correctly, Su was getting snacks out of the kitchen and Yaya closed the curtains and flipped all the lights off for the sake of scariness.

The rest of us were just comfortably sitting on the (at the moment not so spacious) couches, being that they held 12 people minus Kukai, Yaya, Su and Ryu.

"Alright let's watch!" Kukai cheered jumping onto the couch next to Utau who was staring intently at the screen.

I didn't want to watch and actually got frightened a lot during the movie but was forced to watch it with a poker face because freaking Kukai kept watching me every five seconds to see if I was scared yet.

And I was, heck I was shaking in my pants. Not that I was ever going to admit it though. It's my manly pride, I'm not supposed to be scared of things like this.

The movie was currently at a scary part where the father went to find the kid in the demon world thingy, since he apparently is the only one who can get him back.

Dark creepy ass area, scary music and mysterious shadows in the background. What could get creepier than this?

Creek… The door opened and a dark, mysterious figure stepped inside the house, not really thinking straight, all of us screamed in a panic and threw pillows and candy at the figure.

"Whoa, what's going on?! Stop throwing food at me!" The lights got turned on and it was just Ryu. We all sighed in relief.

"Sorry man, we thought you were the red-faced monster from Insidious" Yoru apologized and we all burst into laughter realizing how stupid our assumption was.

"Let's continue the movie" Kukai reminded us. And so we all calmed down and continued the movie, dammit!

"Ah, that was nice" Kukai stretched his muscles as the movie ended. "How about we watch the other two as well?" They all agreed on this offer. Aw hell no! I'm not sticking around any longer.

"Actually, I'm pretty tired so I'm gonna sleep" I yawned, a fake yawn that is. Please, Tsukiyomi Ikuto does not get tired at 1:30 AM.

Luckily they all bought it, even Kukai -the mastermind behind the whole 'Scare-Ikuto-By-Watching-Scary-Movies' plan- didn't figure it out. It being Kukai I imagine he came up with a stupid name like that.

Kukai's an idiot, as his best buddy for life I know this, and he has multiply proven this to be true.

"Actually I'm kind of tired too" Amu suddenly said, everyone wished her a goodnight's rest and she then headed upstairs right behind me.

After doing basics, like putting on my sweatpants and t-shirt and brushing my teeth I went to sleep. …Yeah who am I kidding, I couldn't fall asleep!

After endlessly rolling around bed trying to think of something else besides that hideous red-faced monster, I realized that this was useless.

Hesitantly , but eventually got out of bed. I softly opened the door making sure nobody heard it downstairs I headed towards Amu's door.

I was about to knock when my knuckles stopped right in front of the wooden door and I thought through what I was doing.

Alright let's see, I'm about to wake up the girl I like all because I couldn't sleep cause a scary movie frightened me. That's so uncool I can totally see how that would go.

-Entering our favorite pervert cat's imagination~!

I knocked on the door and heard a groan from the room and footsteps creeping up towards the door.

Amu groggily opened the door glaring daggers at me for awakening her out of her slumber.

"What do you want?" She tiredly asked, an annoyed tone in her voice. I awkwardly scratched the back of her head and gave her an embarrassed look.

"Uh… You see. The, the thing is. Yeah, about the movie we just watched".

"Insidious? What about it?".

"Well… It was terrifying wasn't it?". Amu shrugged "Yeah it was pretty scary, I've seen scarier movies though" She indifferently replied.

"Well, I got kind of really scared and can't sleep. Cause every time I close my I see that red-faced monster" I confessed embarrassed. Amu skeptically raised an eyebrow to see if I was joking.

"You. The movie scared you?" I sighed in defeat and nodded.

She looked at me blankly for a while before bursting into laughter "Bwahahaha! Who would've thought that the oh-so-cool Tsukiyomi Ikuto get scared of horror films! Hahaha!".

And like that she shut door in my face I was still able to hear her undying laughter once she was inside the room.

-Back to the real world-

I shook my head in disapproval. "Oh hell no, that is so not happening!" I unconsciously said that out loud.

Shit, I might have woken Amu up! I was about to head back to my room but it was too late, Amu was currently standing in front of my door with a raised brow.

"Ikuto what are you doing here in the hallway shouting random things?" Amu had a smug smile at how crazy and flustered I was looking right now.

"You ask me what I was doing here, yet describe what I was doing right after".

With that her face dropped "You know that's not what I meant".

I sighed indeed knowing what she really meant and looked her straight in the eye.

Strangely enough she didn't look tired at all and she didn't even have a bedhead… Wait, do you guys know what that means? If you don't yet, you're about to find out.

"I thought my dearest Amu-chan might had gotten scared of the movie so I went to check to see if you were alright" I smirked as her face turned in the lovely shade of pink I adored seeing on her face.

"I-I wasn't s-s-scared!" She denied with her face completely flushed. I shook my head in disapproval "My, my Amu didn't anyone teach you that lying was bad?" I scolded her and she was as red as a cherry right now.

She muttered something but I didn't understand.

"What?"

"I said don't laugh, dummy!" She exclaimed.

"Amu people will hear you and wonder what's going on" I shushed her and she nodded still looking embarrassed.

"Hey, I promise I won't laugh. I got kind of scared too actually" I confessed and Amu looked at me surprised. "R-Really?" Disbelief and confusion in her voice I nodded and looked away.

And here comes the laugh. But the thing is, it never came. I looked up at Amu to see what she was doing.

She was looking at her feet with a flustered expression and then looked up to me only to look down again out of embarrassment.

"I-If you want…" The rest came out to soft for me too soft hear.

"Can you repeat that?".

Her eyebrows furrowed her eyebrows in frustration and this time she clearly yet shyly repeated: "I-I said that you can s-sleep in my b-bed with me i-if you w-want".

My eyes widened in surprise "Are you being serious?". She gave me a quick nod.

"But no funny business are you get in as fast as you get out" She warned and I nodded while sighing I relief.

I figured being with Amu would calm me down, but heck I wasn't even scared of the movie anymore.

She let me in her room and closed the door, suddenly she got close to me and looked me straight in the eye. "I'm serious Ikuto, try to do anything and I'll kick you out".

"You really don't trust me, huh? Listen Amu you are my precious friend and I would never do anything that would hurt you or that you seriously wouldn't like and respect and care about you. Got it?".

She nodded, surprised by how committed I was as a friend. I'm willing to be committing as more as just a friend, but hey it's too early for that.

We crawled into bed and Amu clutched onto me shaking, wow I think that movie scared her more than it did me.

I patted her back "It's okay, I'll be here to protect you" I could hear her let out a shaky breath and she loosened her grip on me.

Utau's POV

We were all sitting downstairs eating breakfast it was 10 AM, we decided to go to the amusement park at 13 PM.

"Where are Amu and Ikuto?" Kukai asked me suddenly noticing their absence. I rolled my eyes.

"They're probably still sleeping. Kind of ironic, they went to bed first yet are still sleeping" Kukai laughed at my comment. "I'll go wake them up" He said but I quickly stopped him.

"Ikuto's my brother, trust me I know how to wake him up and you can't walk into Amu's room she's a girl. I'll wake them up" I ran upstairs to wake them before Kukai could protest.

I walked into Ikuto's room but he wasn't there, strange. Then into Amu's, but I couldn't see her because the blanket was completely covering her. I peeled it off and to my surprise I not only found Amu sleeping there, but Ikuto as well.

Her hands were clutching the front of his shirt while his arms were wrapped around her waist, pulling their bodies closer and their legs were tangled up in each other's.

I smirked and took out my phone quickly making a picture, oh how I was gonna have fun with this. I threw the blanket back over them deciding not to wake them up.

"Oh guys, guess what I've got~" I sang making my way down the stairs. Once they find out about this, I'm dead but still it's totally worth it.

The end! Sorry it's kind of short :( But sister kept whining that I need to turn the laptop off so I had to hurry up and wrap it up. As I said got to hurry up. So bye! Review Please!
