Alright, I don't want to brag or anything, but, I'd like to think I'm on a roll. Now, for those who only read this story you're probably thinking, that I am not in any way on a roll considering I haven't updated this story in nearly a year. However, if you read my other ongoing stories (or just checked the archive of course, haha), you noticed I already updated Broken Facades and Where I belongthe day beforeyesterday. Woot, I'm being productive! How often am I productive? Never, you say? W-well, it was a rhetorical question, so you didn't have to answer, y'know ;-;? Anyway, I'm having a lunch break right now on my internship as I am writing this, figuring I'd probably be rather tired once I get home. It's fine though, I'll just have to force myself off my lazy butt and I think that I should be able to finish this chapter by today if I do so. Well, let's get into it kept you waiting long enough.. Erm let's see it's been a while. Oh, right! This is their last day in the beach so they'll go to the amusement park today (today in the chapter, I mean, not in reality), though Amu still has a bone to pick with Utau for her 'viral prank'. Welp, enjoy! Thanks for reviewing Havock, Guest, KL, Psht who needs a name anyway, MTkurbs, Guest, Animefungirl12 and Hime623.

Recap

"Oh guys, guess what I've got~!" I sang, making my way down the stairs. Once they find out about this, I'm dead but still it's totally worth it.

End of Recap

Ikuto's POV

"Utau!" Amu exclaimed, while everyone other than those two sat on the couch with their fingers plugged in their ears.

My younger sister wheezed, struggling to speak properly, "It-"she sharply inhaled, "-was a joke."

"Damn, that girl sure can run when she's ticked off." Ryu commented, nearly inaudible under the sound of Amu's wrath.

"That's it," Rima, who's basically the laziest person in the universe, got off the sofa and made her towards the kitchen, where Amu and Utau we're currently reprising the cold war, "I can't read my gag man- I mean my shoujo manga like this." She tried to cover herself. Pretty useless, considering we all know about her not-so-secret comedy obsession.

"I only posted it on my Facebook wall, I swear!"

"Exactly, it's on the internet. Now I'll be tormented by it for all eternity!"

Whoa, did I just hear a pan flying through the kitchen? Note to self, pissing off Amu may give her homicidal urges.

"Shut up both of you, or else I'll show you what it's really like to be tormented for all eternity!" Rima entered the argument.

Perhaps I should consider driving off to a far away, secure location that is one hundred percent safe of possible explosions. Nah, I'll survive… hopefully.

"But she pos-" Amu tried to argue, oh sweet, naïve Amu. Has no one ever told you it's impossible to argue with Mashiro Rima?

"Teenagers have the attention span of a goldfish, by the time we're back on school everyone will have forgotten about the stupid picture!"

"See, that's wha-"

"And you, do you have suicidal urges or something, you idiotic giant!" Well, Utau was tall, but then again so was I. What can I say, it runs in the family. My father's side of the family, that is, my mother is pretty short herself.

"Oh snap!" Nagihiko sweat-dropped for what we were all expecting next.

Kukai winced, "This is gonna get ugly, isn't it?"

"D-Did you just call me a giant, you dwarf?!"

"Yes, and don't call me a dwarf just because your head goes through the ceiling!"

"Don't call me a giant just because you can barely reach the cupboard!"

"Uh, isn't this kind of unrelated, especially considering the original problem has already been solved…?" Amu tried to intervene.

"Stay out of this, cotton candy head." Rima and Utau replied in unison. Hey, a cute cotton candy head, for your information! I probably shouldn't enter this argument though, that's just suicidal.

"I could insult the two of you about your hair, but I don't think you'd understand." Amu retorted, that was actually a pretty smart dumb blonde joke.

Daichi shot off the coach, "That's it, I must see what's about to go down."

"Wait, Daichi, it's dangerous!" Tadase tried to stop him. It's futile Tadase, once Daichi is interested in something nothing can stop him.

Kukai shrugged getting, "Sorry Tadase, but this much more interesting than any sports game."

I sighed, "There's no way I can let you two block heads go in there alone, can I?"

Kukai grinned, "Ikuto, my man. You never let me down."

There's also a slight chance that I myself want to see what's going to happen, but you know, those are just minor details.

"Why you little-!"

At the sound of female shrieks, we all raced towards the kitchen in curiosity of what was going on.

Once we had reached kitchen, and were fighting for a good view, the sight of Utau holding Amu in headlock, whereas the pinkette painfully nudged her in ribs was displayed for us.

Oh, and Rima was simply pouring herself a glass fruit punch taking in the view before her just as the rest of us.

I raised an eyebrow, "Shouldn't you be in there with them?"

She carelessly shrugged, taking a sip of her punch, "Why bother, they're pretty much doing all the work for me." I can't tell whether she's a genius or just lazy, perhaps both.

I shrugged, "You've got a point."

Kairi raised his glasses, "Someone should stop them."

"Before you do, let me take a picture." Kukai insisted, taking out his phone.

"You'll probably end up like them if you do that, though." I warned. Kukai's like the brother I never had… but he's really an idiot.

He lowered his phone, laughing sheepishly.

I sighed, "I'll do it, after all, they are my sister and my-" I cut myself of midsentence. Uh, right Amu isn't anything me, uh crap this'll look really lame. Come up with a good safe, you slow brain, "my, uh… friend?" hold up, did I just friend zone myself? Wait no, I think I was already in the friend zone. Not sure if it counts if you only recently fell in love with the person, though. Eh, who cares anyway?

I took ahold of Utau's arm, loosening it from the monster grip it had around Amu's neck and gripped the pinkette's wrist to prevent her elbow from pounding further into the blonde's ribs.

Jesus Christ, how are these two still alive?

"If I remember correctly, before this became the 'kitchen battle' we were planning to head for the amusement park, no?"

"And you two look like crap." Rima bluntly stated.

"Yaya thinks Rima-chan is right."

Ryu and I shamelessly nodded in agreement, while the rest, attempting to be nice agreed more hesitantly.

The girls, whose arms were still in my grip, looked at each other and burst into laughter.

"Bwhahaha, Utau, you look like mess!"

"Haha, as if you can talk. Now your hair really looks like cotton candy."

"Can you guys just hurry so we can go to the amusement park?" Miki tiredly sighed.

"Fine, fine. Just give us five minutes." Utau bickered. Yeah right, five minutes my ass, more like half an hour.

Amu's POV

Utau was combing my hair while humming a lullaby. It made me feel rather calm, Utau felt like an elder sister, even though she was younger than me.

However, something had been bothering me. I suppose the blonde is somewhat more knowledgeable in this area than me, so it's probably safe to ask, "Say, Utau."

I nervously bit my lip, what if she thought what I wanted ask was silly and laughed? Or even worse, try to dig further into the subject.

"What's up?" She asked while her fingers grazed through my hair, as took ahold of some of it, tying it up as a bun at the side of my head and leaving the rest down.

Utau really fashionable, she's also a great singer, funny, has a good taste in music, beautiful, athletic and honest. Kukai better be aware of how great his girlfriend is, because she deserved to be appreciated.

"Uh, how did you know you liked Kukai?" I saw her violet eyes spark with curiosity.

"Hmm, well I guess when you like somebody there isn't really a 'how', when you like a person you just know it."

"Yes, but you figured it out somehow, right? Are there signs or symptoms, or just something like that, I guess."

"Uh well, you want to spend time with them, are always thinking of them, care for their happiness, yet feel jealous if they like someone else. Your heart, it beats so fast it hurts," I could see a blush appear on her pale skin as she thought of more signs, " and you like the sound of their voice, their smile, even if they say or do something stupid you can't help but think it's cute. And no matter how painful or annoying it can get, you still wanna be with them," her lips had curved into a soft smile. A few moments she seemed to snap out of the state and nervously laughed, "but I guess it feels different for everyone."

I smiled, "I guess you become really cute when in love."

The blonde's blush deepened in embarrassment, "W-what? I was always this cute y'know," she pouted, before turning to me with a smug smile, "you asked me all this stuff. I wonder why you wanted to know?"

Now it was my turn blush, "Um, I was j-just curious, t-that's all." I stammered.

"Hmm?" Utau cocked one of her perfectly plucked eyebrows, the smug smile not once disappearing.

"Oi, hurry up you two, otherwise we'll leave without you!"

Utau frowned, getting off bed and grabbing her bags, "We'll continue this conversation some other time, young lady." she jokingly said in a parental manner, I couldn't laugh though, because I was well aware she would truly want to continue this conversation with me and wasn't going to let me live it down until we did.

I grabbed my bags as well and followed Utau in step.

Ikuto was waiting outside of his car for me, he smirked and jokingly asked, "Are you sure you didn't forget to put on your ball gown, princess?"

Even though he was teasing, I couldn't help but blush.

"You know what maybe you're right. Just give me a sec." I stook out my tongue.

He laughed, "You sure are in a good mood, princess."

My heart squeezed. Ikuto can get on my nerves... but I like his smile.

My eyes widened. Wait, could I be? N-no way! I furiously shook my head.

Ikuto raised an eyebrow and put a hand on top my head, so I would stop shaking it.

"Uh, are you alright?"

My blush increased and I wouldn't be surprised if it matched my hair at this point, "D-don't touch, you'll mess up my hair." I slapped his hand away, pouting.

"Wow, already feeling sour again? Eh, girls, never understood them." He shrugged opening the trunk, allowing me to put my bags in it.

"Well, let's go." He said, getting into the car.

"Can't even open the door for a princess?" I joked, getting into the car as well.

"Whaa - No way, you have hands that are working just fine, don't you, you lazy princess?" He playfully whined.

"Hmpf, you're not cute at all."

"Oh? That's too bad, you are though..." My cheeks reddened as I looked at Ikuto in surprise.

He stared at me quietly, a slight tint of pink on the side of his cheek. There was no way he blushing, though. I was probably just seeing things, it was probably just the sunlight hitting his cheek. Even so, he's really handsome, isn't he? I never bothered noticing before, but maybe just maybe I do like Ikuto...

It looked as if he snapped out of a daze as a smirk appeared on his lips, he leaned in closer and whispered in my ear, "And I'm sure your body is as well."

If my face wasn't red before, it certainly was now, "Y-you pervert!"

I take that back, there was no way I liked Tsukiyomi Ikuto, nor would I ever.

Sigh, Ikuto you idiot Amu almost realized her true feelings, but you just had to act like a pervert to save yourself from revealing you like her and ruin it all. Poor Ikuto, I feel bad for you, but I wanna pull this romance out some more. Besides, I'd like to work on other couples as well. Even so, I feel so satisfied knowing that I finally updated this! Unfortunately, I didn't make the two day time-span, I mean, the chapter was finished yesterday, but I still had to edit it. I won't make any promises, but maybe I can also update I Love Her Like today. Also, question out of curiosity: Do you like the new cover image? This is like the third time I changed it .-. Well, hope you enjoyed this chapter. Review Please!
