Hild Takes Manhattan: A Senshi Muyo Supplement
Part Seven: Devil's Bargain.
As Hild left the two mutant leaders behind to mull over her words (As well as a sheepish Lance Alvers and a fuming Kitty Pryde.) Hild contemplated her next task. It was a delicate operation and therefore she would need to find something else to occupy Deadpool's time.
"Wade?"
"Hmm?" Deadpool answered as he finished checking his PDA trying to find if there was a taco stand nearby.
"I have a little mssion for you. I want you to bring me Nick Fury's spare eyepatch. Also, the Agent Philip Coulson. I want you to steal his car and wait until I call you while I take care of some rather boring business talks. And I want you to do this without killing anyone. Can you handle the challenge?"
Deadpool looked up. "Fury's eyepatch? Piece of cake!" He then turned his head in confusion to the Mistress of Niflheim. "But what's a Coulson?"
Hild smiled. This should keep him occuppied for a while.
177A Bleecker Street New York.
The Sanctum Santorum. Hild smirked looking at the Victorian style mansion. My! Such a modest appellation. She knew she would not need to knock as sure enough, the door opened and she was greeted by Wong, faithful servant of Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Stephen Strange.
"I am here to see the master of the house. I am most certain he is expecting me."
"Yes." Wong replied. "He is waiting for you in the parlor. If you will follow me?"
"Of course. Most kind." Hild followed in mild amusement.
They reached the parlor in short order to see Doctor Strange seated comfortably on a sofa. Hild took the easy chair directly facing.
"Thank you Wong." Strange said, acknowledging his aide. Wong simply bowed and withdrew.
"I must say I was surprised when you requested to see me." The sorcerer remarked as he addressed Hild.
"My business is important, but that does not require me to be rude. Nor; hopefully, will there be cause for unpleasantries between us." Hild slipped a bracelet off her wrist.
"I suppose it does depend on precisely what that business might be."
"A certain being has not only persisted in encroaching upon my sphere of operation, but his conduct now has become dangerous. It is time I dealt with this." She fixed her gaze on Strange. "I also wish for you to understand that while I intend no threat to thee or to innocents, it would be unwise to meddle in my affairs. But for today, consider this a favor."
Strange remained impassive as Hild flexed her now barren wrist. "A favor?" He questioned wryly. "And what would you ask of me in return?"
"Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson." Hild replied. "Once they are here then we will summon Mephisto and settle that which lies between us..."
