author's notes
let's get one thing out of the way. this does not take place in any particular order in the series and I have NO clue where these pokemon came from. So please don't ask any questions about plot as this is just elsa and anna having a pokemon battle with super cool op pokemon. This won't be their last battle, so send requests on what pokemon you want them to use {except from kalos and beyond} and battles will be by anime rules and physics, thus I will be Ignoring stats and levels
ok for those who don't play pokemon, here is a little glossary. these are a few terms that you need to know to fully enjoy this chapter
battle: a battle is when two pokemon trainers compete in a friendly competition using their pokemon. The pokemon use moves to hit the opponent's pokemon until one faints from exhaustion. Pokemon are rarely harmed from this sport and most actually enjoy it unless they are forced to battle non-stop without rest.
move: a move is a kind of attack that pokemon use, they have many different uses. some pokemon can learn some moves while others can't. moves will be marked with an asterisk.
ability: a unique trait that every species of pokemon has. Abilities automatically take effect such as pikachu's "static" which can paralyze the foe if they touch it
pokeball: small balls that are used to transport pokemon. They harmlessly transform a pokemon into pure energy and thus shrink even the largest pokemon so that they fit into the ball. No one really knows what it's like to be inside a pokeball, but it's probably not unpleasant as no pokemon {save for ash's pikachu} has ever shown any signs of displeasure for being in one.
On a side note most pokemon can only say their own name. there are a few exceptions
"can we please have a Pokemon battle? come on I've been asking and asking!" the princess whined to her big sister. The latter groaned in annoyance.
"You beat every trainer that comes around! what more do you want?" Elsa sighed.
"I wanna battle a real trainer." The princess decreed triumphantly.
"and what makes me a real trainer?" Elsa prodded with a smirk. Anna gave her a puzzled expression.
"You have the coolest pokemon ever! pretty pretty please with cherries and chocolate on top?" The princess pleaded. realized that trainers were in short supply in Arendelle and she figured that a quick light battle couldn't harm anyone. So the Queen nodded.
"after lunch" The monarch concluded. The two royals eagerly consumer their meal and entered the courtyard.
" no time limit, three pokemon each agreed?" Elsa proposed. Her sister gave her a stupefied look.
"no way! six on six! six round one pokemon each round, the one who wins the most wins, no swapping!" Anna corrected adamantly.
"Why do you want to do it that way?" Elsa asked.
"I wanna see all your pokemon." Anna stated as if it was obvious.
"you could just ask" Elsa deadpanned.
"But that's no fun!" Her baby sister countered. The snow queen nodded in submission and they took their places.
"As you wish, my favorite sister. But I don't want to hear any whining when I defeat you!" The queen taunted. Anna blew a playful raspberry in response. Both of the two royals were sporting strange belts on their wastes. Each belt had six pokeballs. The monarch took one of the balls from her belt and lobbed it into the sky
"GO BLAZIKEN!" The young monarch cried. The ball opened midair and a red blob of energy came out. The blob took the form of a bird. It stood upright on two slender legs like a human. Rather than wings, it had two arms with fearsome talons, and wrists that were ringed with small jets of flame. It had a razor sharp beak, orange, beige, and red feathers, a slender build, and stood just a foot taller than Elsa. The younger sister smirked and threw her own ball. The blob that came from the princesses pokeball took the form of a strange lion. It had a black mane that shot backward, and slightly outward in spike like clusters and black fur in the front end, from head to paw. Its flanks and upper back legs were also jet black. The the areas below the knees of its back legs however, were blue as were it's ear lobes, torso, back paws, and cheeks. Its ear holes , star shaped tail tassel, stripes on its front legs, and eyes were lightning yellow.
"Luxray! get ready!" Anna commanded.
"luxray!" The pokemon cried as it got ready to pounce. Elsa's eyes locked onto Anna's.
"Luxray, use *thunderbolt* !" Anna ordered. Luxray's eyes began to glow, and a massive electric surge came from it's body and zoomed toward blaziken. The later jumped out of the way on elsa's command.
"blaziken, use *hi jump kick*!" The queen shouted, blaziken leaped and began to spin, with one leg extended towards luxray. The lion was knocked down before it could evade the fiery bird. Despite the hit, Luxray struggled to its feet.
"luxray *double team*!" Anna declared. Luxray began to multiply. Soon there were ten of the ferocious feline
"try *flamethrower*!" Elsa ordered. Blaziken spewed a massive jet of red hot flames from its mouth. The flame hit one of the luxray. The attack moved right passed it.
"only ONE is real" Anna taunted. The queen narrowed her eyes.
"blaziken use *blaze kick*" Elsa commanded. The fire bird's leg enveloped i
"use *dig*!" Elsa told Blaziken. The large fowl began to spin and it dived into the floor. Elsa pushed the realization that she just damaged the lawn aside so she could concentrate.
"Luxray, *substitute*!" Anna commanded. Luxray made yet another duplicate of itself. Blaziken burst out of the ground and slammed luxray. The false luxrays vanished. Elsa realized that she was being played for a fool as the luxray that her blaziken hit also vanished. It was the substitute.
'but but where is the real one?" Elsa asked to herself.
"now luxray, *hyperbeam*!" The princess commanded. The feline jumped out from behind blaziken and shot an enormous white beam from its mouth. The blast hit blaziken and the bird fell on its back, sprawled out. Its eyes were swirls.
"You one the first round, Anna" Elsa sighed and recalled blazken and Anna recalled luxray. The snow queen then whipped out another pokeball "go swampert!" she called out. The ball opened and a strange pokemon that looked something of a cross between a fish and a frog, it stood on all fours, had a blue body with orange elbows and kness, and orange spiked cheeks. It had two crests coming from its head and a flat, fanlike tail.
"Okay, then venusaur, I choose you!" Anna declared as she hurled her pokeball. The pokemon that came out was a large four legged creature with green skin and a wide mouth. large leaves sprawled outward from the top of its back and a colossal pink flat petaled flower was planted on it. Elsa flinched. She recognized venusaur and she was well aware that it was a "grass" type pokemon. Her swampert was a "water" type and water type pokemon took more damage from grass type attacks.
"swampert… *hammer arm*" she commanded. The water pokemon lunged forward, ready to bring down its mighty fist.
"venusaur, use *vinewhip*" The princess ordered venusaur. The plant monster shot out two vines and repeatedly smacked its opponent with them. Swampert quickly fainted. Elsa blinked at how quickly she lost the round. She thought carefully as to what pokemon anna would send. She then got another pokeball.
"your turn Torterra!" Elsa yelled as she threw another pokeball. This pokemon was also four legged. It had three large spikes coming out of one side of its back. The other side had a small but thick and bushy tree. Its back was green and its underside was dark brown. Two parallel spikes came out of the sides of its cheeks. Anna paused for a few moments then she chose her pokemon.
"I choose you Gyarados!" Anna yelled and she threw her pokeball. This pokemon was a blue,dragon sea serpent like monster with a long tail with a fish fin at the end. Its mouth was open wide and its back was had widely spread spines. It stared down torterra with its cold, angry eyes.
"Torterra, use *giga impact*!" Elsa shouted to the turtle like creature. Torterra launched itself at gyarados and hit the monster with all of its weight. The sea dragon was knocked down and torterra landed on its feet, shaking the ground with its bulk and the sheer force of the impact. To Elsa's frustration, gyarados got back up and shrugged off the attack.
"*Giga impact* renders the user unable to move for a while after it is used but its power more than makes up for it. Gyarados' ability "intimidate" reduces the attacking power of its opponent as soon as it enters battle. so *giga impact* wasn't enough!" Anna lectured her sister.
"I know!" Elsa whined. Her baby sister only grinned.
"gyarados, use *rest*!" Anna told her pokemon. The monstrous sea dragon curled up into a ball and began to snore. Her opponent could not take any action because torterra was still unable to move. The queen then realized that gyarados was asleep, and it could not take any action either. The princess had a gleam in her eye, signaling that she had a trick up her sleeve.
"now gyarados, use *sleep talk*!" She directed the slumbering serpent. The latter raised its body, still asleep and used its *ice fang* as it bit down on the helpless torterra. Elsa's pokemon collapsed. The snow queen recalled her torterra and revealed another pokeball. She tossed it.
"scizor! your turn!" The monarch cheered. The creature that came out was a red, insect like pokemon with large pincers, silver wings, yellow eyes and a black collar and abdomen. It was similar to an ant except it stood on its two slender back legs. Scizor stood roughly as tall as a human. The princess laughed softly and lobbed her own pokeball. The pokemon that came out was a gigantic dragon. It was snakelike, long and slender. It was green, laced with very fine, yellow, circular stripes on the sides. The chest was criss-crossed with very fine black lines. It had no legs but two arms with three razor sharp claws on each hand. The pokemon had a triangular shaped head with yellow eyes and black pupils,as well as a mouth lined with razor sharp, red teeth. It had two long, green crests on each side of its head. Two upward, and two downward. It mysteriously levitated in the air, but it had no wings. Elsa just stared, slack jawed at her baby sister's pokemon.
"w-where d-did y-you get RAYQUAZA?" The queen asked, tripping over her own tongue. She then remembered that she had a legendary pokemon herself and her surprise slowly dissipated.
"Scizor, use *bullet punch*!" The monarch commanded. The red insect zoomed at rayquaza with lightning speed, repeatedly landing a flurry of jabs to its body. The dragon shrugged off the attacks.
"rayquaza, use *outrage*!" Anna ordered. The mighty dragon thrashed flailed violently at scizor. The latter stood firm and took the blows.
"scizor, *slash*!" Elsa told her pokemon, scizor used its mighty pincers and sliced at Rayquaza, but the latter continued its *outrage* and overwhelmed scizor with sheer power. The insect pokemon fell to the ground. The two royal sisters then recalled their pokemon.
"alright, your turn, I choose Blastoise!" Elsa declared as she unleashed her pokeball. The creature that came out was a bulky tortoise that stood on two legs. Its shell was brown in the back and cream colored in the front. Its slightly rounded head was blue at the top, as were its arms and legs. Its shoulders each had a large, metallic cannon on them, extending from the shell.
"then i choose Charizard!" Anna said with a smile as she lobbed her pokeball. The pokemon that emerged was a fiery dragon like creature with orange skin, cream colored stomach, large wings with blue membranes, and a tail with a flame burning on the end. The two pokemon sized each other up.
"blastoise, use *hydro pump*" elsa ordered. Blastoise aimed its cannons and shot two massive jets of water at charizard.
"charizard, fly out of the way" Anna shouted but it was too late, the *hydro pump* slammed into charizard. The flame pokemon struggled to get up. It finally succeeded in powering to its feet. Anna considered her options as Elsa smirked.
"charizard, use *roost*!" Anna declared. charizard then took a moment to untucked its wings and readied itself for battle. "now use *solar beam*!" She continued. The dragon began to charge up power. But it needed time to charge before it could be fired. Elsa saw her chance.
"blastoise, use another *hydro pump*!" The snow queen commanded. The tortoise then aimed its cannons again. but the aim was off since the cannons were difficult to aim. That miss gave charizard enough time. It shot a massive green beam from its mouth. The hit knocked out blastoise. Elsa nodded in admiration and recalled her pokemon.
"anna there is no point in going on, i think we both know none of your pokemon are a match for my last one. I choose you, mewtwo!" Elsa commanded as she lobbed her final pokeball. Mewtwo {who bas been described in this fanfiction already} emerged and chuckled. Anna said nothing as she tossed her pokeball. Instead of a pokeball, a mere shadow came out and shot to the ground. the shadow, now revealed to be a pokemon, slowly emerged from the ground. It was pitch black from top to bottom, save for its blue eyes, red color, and the white wisp, flickering from the top of its head. It had no legs, long slender arms, and a wispy tail. One wisp came out of each elbow.
"That's Darkrai!" Elsa squeaked in surprise. She shook her head and narrowed her eyes. "mewtwo, use your *aura sphere*!" The Queen commanded. The psychic pokemon launched a strange orb at darkrai. The latter disappeared into the shadows.
"now darkrai, just as we practiced!" The princess declared. The pitch black pokemon burst out in the open and took aim.
"*dark void*!" The pokemon droned as it fired a mystical dark ball from its palms. Mewtwo didn't have time to evade it and the orb surrounded it in a large sphere of purple and black energy, the sphere vanished and mewtwo dropped to the ground, asleep.
"finish it with *dark pulse*" Anna commanded. Darkrai launched a glob of dark energy at mewtwo. The latter was unable to take action as the *dark pulse* slammed it. Darkrai dealt even more damage with its ability "bad dreams" as long as mewtwo remained asleep. Just then, mewtwo woke up.
"*dark void*!" darkrai droned again. This time however, mewtwo was faster and it evaded the attack.
"mewtwo, *recover*" The queen shouted. mewtwo used its powers to heal its damage.
"darkrai, *night slash*!" Anna declared.
"mewtwo, use *iron tail*" her big sister retaliated. Darkrai extended its claws as mewtwo's tail began to glow and turn silver. the two attacks clashed. both pokemon dealing heavy damage. Finally, both of them fell to the ground.
"its a draw" Ana sighed. Just then, mewtwo struggled, and stood up.
"well. won a round!.. of only one." Elsa sighed back.
"do you wanna build a snowman while our pokemon rest?" The princess asked. "I bet rosetta and leonardo would love that too." She continued. Elsa nodded and the left the arena, hand in hand.
