JJ pov

"Welcome to Castle's castle." He says gesturing to his huge home. "I'll give everyone a tour at the same time hey Jess you wanna do me a favor?"

"Sure." She says.

"Alright I'm going to do something crazy and your mom is probably going to kill me but trust me alright." He whispers into my ear.

"Ok." I whisper back. He picks mom out of her wheelchair into his arms.

"Grab her chair." He says walking her into the house. Leaving me and Alexis flabbergasted.

"Well that settles it they're officially crazy." I say folding up her chair and dragging it behind me.

"Pshh we've both known for a while this just makes it official." She jokes back. We walk in and my mom is laughing telling him to put her down.

"That was crazy and you are so going to pay for it." She says as he puts her down on the couch.

"Do you have her chair?" He asks me.

"Yes."

"Alright we are going to do the castle tour so here on the main level is the kitchen living room and two bedrooms one will be Kate's and the other is of course mine. We have the heated pool of course. Then we have an office where I write. And upstairs are four bedrooms there is one right across from Alexis' room that would be perfect for JJ. You can decorate it how ever you want we will get the stuff for it later." He says.

"Really?" The money being thrown at me is a little surprising. I'm starting to get used to it, but it's always been me and my mom on a cops paycheck which is literally nothing.

"Of course." He smiles at me, I run upstairs after Alexis and realise I forgot my purse, I run back downstairs to hear a conversation I shouldn't.

"Castle you are spoiling that girl."

"Kate you hid her from me for 14 years she deserves it, and I saw the scars I just want to make her happy don't you?"

"I do, and it kills me I'm the cause of those scars Castle that girl didn't talk to me for three years, and she did that as a stress relief to get over the anger she was harboring for me."

"Kate you know that isn't quite the case right. You can't blame yourself."

"I know, but I do, I love that girl with all my heart. The only thing that brought us back together is the fact that I almost died."

"Hey." I but in knowing my mom is about to cry, I hate to see her cry. She takes on hard ass criminals all day and if I make her cry that says something.

"Did you forget something?" She asks.

"My purse, and mom it isn't your fault it's mine. I did it to myself, even though I knew I shouldn't. Please don't cry, and most of all don't blame yourself." I wipe her tears, not knowing what else to do. My mom and I took care of each other when I was younger. She'd wipe my tears and help me out. Some nights after an extremely tough case I'd wipe her tears and help her out, it was the way we both survived.

"Thanks Jess. I love you I hope you know that. I'm sorry for keeping you from your dad here. I hope we can all be a family."

"I know. I love you too mom and you too... Rick." I tried really hard, but now wasn't the time, I just am not ready to call him dad.

I run back upstairs my purse in hand, I open the door across from Alexis'. It isn't much white walls, a bed, and a dresser. It is huge and had it's own balcony facing the beach. It would be a really pretty spot in the mornings to just sit and think.

"Hey." Alexis walks up behind me. "Some mornings I would sneak in here and just look at the waves, when I was younger. It's a pretty sight in the dim light mornings." She smiles at me.

"I bet I was just looking at the waves now and imagining it. I think the change of scenery will be really good for her. She's healing on time with hers and the doctor's schedule. So staying here at the beach will do her a lot of good I think."

"I do too, now after that drive I'm hungry what about you?"

"Same." My stomach is grumbling, but I didn't want to say anything if no one else was hungry.

"Well lets go get the two love birds." She jokes and we both laugh.

"Dad we're hungry!" Alexis yells. "Well that's a good thing because Kate and I just came to the same conclusion."

AN: I know this has been forever and I have no idea when the next one will be. Life has been hectic and recently I have sprained my wrist leaving me with one hand to type with. But since I couldn't do anything else I typed up this chapter. Thanks :)
