I internally groaned seeing my ex stumbling and holding onto the wall sounding needy.

"Ally don't go-"Austin began as he squeezed my hand.

"It's okay I can handle this. It isn't the first time and knowing him it probably won't be the last." I said rolling my eyes. I sighed and looked at Austin.

"Thank you for tonight, you're such a sweet guy. If you want you can stop by tomorrow to watch movies and eat some Rocky Road?" I offered nudging him. He smiled throwing his hands in his pockets.

"Of course, I'd love to spend time with you Als." He agreed kissing me on the cheek.

"I'll see you tomorrow then alright Aussie?"

"I'll be there around 2, see you then gorgeous." I felt a slight blush rise in my cheek but turned to deal with the source of Austin having to leave so soon.

"Dallas what do you want?" I asked crossing my arms.

"I want you Ally, I want to be your boyfriend again." He slurred reaching for me.

"Stop! I told you we're never getting back together. I'm seeing someone and he had to leave thanks to you!" I snapped.

"He doesn't know you like I do. It won't be the same and you know it." He begged.

"Exactly! You don't know me at all and it'd be so much better to be with him. You're right it wouldn't be the same because he would treat me right. I'm calling a taxi for you." I said waving my hand to stop a car.

"I'm gonna win you back Ally, you'll see." He said with a sad smile. I closed the door once he got in and told the driver his address. Rubbing my head I got home and changed into my pajamas before laying on the pillow falling fast asleep.

~Next Day~

"ALLY WAKE UP!" I jumped up turning to see my best friend Melanie bouncing on my bed.

"MELANIE?!"

"ALLY?!" I hugged her laughing.

Just to clear things up my awesome crazy lovable friend Melanie has just returned from her tour in Europe. She's an aspiring singer as well as actress. She's currently trying to land a lead for a new movie coming out in a few years called Don't Count Us Out. Melanie has been gone for about 3 months and this is the first chance I've gotten to see her since she left. She's also dating her high school sweet heart Carter which may I say they are adorable!

"Ugh I friggin' missed your gorgeous face!" Melanie said laughing.

"Aww I missed yours too! How long are you visiting for?" I asked crossing my legs.

"I'll be here for the week! Carter is coming Wednesday to see me but I plan on spending as much time as I can with you and Trish." She replied smiling.

"Yes this is perfect! Haha oh gosh I'm having someone over today though. He's coming around 2."

"He? Ooh Ally tell me everything!" Melanie exclaimed squealing that I finally found someone that wasn't written in a 300 paged love story.

"Okay well we met at that coffee shop we always go to, Melton's? Yeah well after his shift he asked if I would walk with him. So we have been hanging out and had our first date yesterday. It was amazing, he's amazing." I ranted.

"Ugh you have to let me meet him! Does Trish approve?" she asked. I laughed.

"Yes she's the one who pushed me to talk with him actually." I replied smiling. God what am I gonna wear to see him? I mean it's just a movie date type of thing but I don't wanna be a bum.

"Do you by any chance wanna help me get ready? You know how to be an attractive girl like 24/7." I asked with my puppy dog eyes. They've gotten me far in life these past 18 years.

"Duh! I'm gonna make you irresistible Allison Dawnson." She smiled rubbing her hands together.

Oh lord what did I sign myself up for?

Melanie ransacked my closet in search of the perfect pajama outfit for the lovely Austin Moon. Haha I can't believe she's going all out for this. What a good friend I have.

"Okay I definitely agree with the penguin bottoms but I'd have to wear a black top with that. Then I'd probably put my hair in a ponytail." I told Melanie.

"Yes! That would be so cute! Okay hurry so I can do your make up! It's like 1:30 already!" she claimed.

"Okay we got this, crap let me brush my teeth first."

"Oh em gee Ally you're such a tooth fanatic sometimes." Melanie teased.

"Whatever Mel make your jokes but mark my words when we're 80 I'll still have my teeth to talk with." I replied winking at her. We wrapped up our girl session just in time to meet Austin.

*knock knock knock*

"Oh god he's here, grab the door for me?" I asked nervously.

"Of course girly, finish up he's gonna take a double take when he sees your adorable self!"

"Thanks so much for this, I'm really glad you're back in town." I said hugging her tightly.

"Aww of course! Not quit you're gonna make me tear up and your man is waiting at the door." She said as we pulled away.

"Finish up and go get 'em tiger!" I laughed watching her go meet Austin and tried to make myself presentable.

"Ally?" I heard him call out. I walked out to see him in Batman sweatpants, a matching shirt with a gray beanie.

He. Is. Adorable.

"Hey! So I got three main movies I think we should totally watch. There's The Conjuring, The Lucky One and The Switch." I explained getting them out.

"Wow a lot of the to work with." He said smiling.

"You know I really didn't see you watching The Conjuring." I laughed putting it in first.

"There's a lot you don't see about a girl at first glance, you gotta take the opportunity to get to know what you don't." I explained as we heard the microwave ding with the finished popcorn.

"Trust me, I will at every chance I get." He said staring at me.

"Okay mister sappy sweetheart pants save that for the next movie." I teased making him laugh. He grabbed the popcorn and we sat down on the couch as the eerie music began.

It was hilarious to see this macho tall blonde squirm during the movie when I was hardly flinching. Emphasis on hardly haha. We didn't talk a whole lot during the movie but we weren't silent either. I started dozing off during The Lucky One and I think Austin was too.

"Hey Als? You awake?" he nudged me gently. I made a noise sounding like I didn't wanna get up, and honestly I didn't. I made my comfiness on his chest and his arm was around my waist. It didn't seem like he wanted to move either.

"I don't wanna get up." I groaned going deeper into his chest.

"Haha well if you don't think I'm some creepy axe murderer I can stay here all night and let you sleep on me." He offered.

"Really?" I asked surprised.

"Of course Als."
