I stayed singing long after Yugi fell asleep, and when the clock hit 12 the thief came down the stairs.
"Don't get me wrong, I love that you're troubled, but some people want to sleep, so. Shut up!" He told me taking a sit at my side.
"Can't sleep?" I asked noticing that we were both speaking in our native tongue. He nodded and crossed his legs on the coffee table.
"Do you want to duel? No shadow tricks just a good old fashioned duel." He asked pulling his cards out as he spoke. I waved my hand and two game mats appeared on the table as I pulled out my own cards in answer.
He smirked and went to the other side of the table. We shuffled and drew our hands, then he waved at me to start the game. I played a monster and use a bit of magic to bring it to life. We went back and forth killing monsters, until half way into the game we brought out miniature versions of all our monsters and had an all-out war.
When our lighter half's woke up they just about killed us for destroying the living room. They did congratulate us on not killing each other, and acting like friends, so at least we weren't in that much trouble.
"Hey, I know how to prove we can work together. We can breakfast just me and Yami!" That didn't sound like a good plan to me, but our lights nodded and sent us on our way. Upon reaching the kitchen I wondered how we could cook without bodies. "Magic dumbass."
"What do you mean by that?"
"We use magic to cook." He waved his hand and the pots flew to the stove. "Don't you cook for Yugi?"
"No I don't know how." He smirked at me, and rolled his eyes.
"I'll teach you."
Three hours later and over a hundred brunt meals later he gave up. After tossing out black pancakes he throw a pot at me, and walked out. I sighed and sat on the counter. When he came back he had our lights in tow. He was yelling in what I think his light call English about something. Yugi looked as though he understood, and Ryuo was nodding along.
He then started handing Yugi things. Yugi went on making whatever it was they made. The three of them worked together as I watched. Once they seemed done Yugi went and got Tea. I followed. She was roaming around the top floor.
"Breakfast is done." She nodded and went down with Yugi. I decided to go to sleep in my soul room.
