In Beach City, everything was normal. Well as normal as things can be with magical creatures attacking each and everyday when they want to. Unbeknownst to them though, small orbs fly around, watching them like miniature Red Eyes, but of a pale green color to them. These orbs are the 'Architect's Eyes', small inventions that he made with plans from how Peridot and the Diamond Authority made their droids that repair malfunctioning Gem Pads. He always told them in the past to lock up data gems properly and now he benefited from their lack of upkeep.

After reopening the pad to Earth, he was able to send in a few of these Eyes to watch the place. As he watched them from afar for the past few days, he noticed some strange events occur.

The rocking and shaking of the lighthouse followed by Steven walking out of it with a deactive gem in hand.

The gems cleaning out the one called Greg Universe's garage.

Even of them riding one of the drones into a area that is blocking his orbs and a day later of Pearl running out of the temple... with Rose's scabbard.

When his orbs returned to the temple, he saw something not so odd going on. He saw Garnet walking out and up on to the lighthouse cliff as she seemed to be searching for something. After a while, Jadeite was about to look away as something else caught his eye. She was holding a gem, a light green gem that was pear shaped as she held it between the gems in her hand and sent it away. Moments later, the same gem appeared in Jadeite's hand as he sighs "Damn... she remembered" he said.

When he became the Archivist, he created a gem using notes from gems of the past and info gems he had around the Archive to create these message gems, gems that could allow messages to be sent at a quicker pace.

Think of it like e-mail, but gem form.

As he held it up to get the message, he instantly regretted it "This is Garnet of the Crystal Gems sending this to Architect. I am enacting section eight of the Archivist Vow" she messaged. He put the gem down as he remembered what that section was. Section eight was a vow of sorts, stating that if a gem has someone or something of research worthy intrigue in exchange for a deal. Unfortunately, he had no choice of denying at least hearing them out.

In a few minutes, he appeared behind her "This better be important, I have information to document" he spoke in his monotone voice.

Garnet turned around "I know something you don't." Well that's a surprise, there was a lot that has escaped him over the years since he wasn't what humans called omnipotent. "I will show you to the Kindergarden and how it was shut down. In exchange, you don't try to hurt Steven or this planet for a month"

Well this was surprising "So you will show me how you shut down a massive Gem virus making plant in exchange for not hurting a planet of evolved primates?... you know that this may not end well for you after my research is done correct?" he asked. All he got was a nod from Garnet as he sighs "Very well. Show me" he said. What he wasn't expecting was to be lead the path and into the home as the three members looked shocked he had just walked in, but one look from Garnet stopped them from attacking. The heavy footsteps of the Archivist echoed a bit as he stepped onto a regular warp pad with Garnet and in a moment they were gone.

The two reappeared later in the center of the Kindergarden... well the outside of it anyway. "We destroyed the power source when we got here"

"Doesn't matter. The energy may be lost, but the information is backed up... somewhere in here. I will find it" he replied as he stepped off. He looks at Garnet "I will keep my word Garnet" he said as she left, she kept up her end of the bargain. As the Archivist pulled out his weapon, he walked over to one of the Virus towers and cut the legs down with ease. When the tower fell and hit the ground, he hopped up on top of it with his blade and cut the glass off quickly. He kneeled down as he looked over the internal process parts of the tower "Now... where are you" he said as he started to dig his hand in to rip out some small, black rock that was in the dead center of the tower.

After a few hours of doing this, he returned to the pad, but stopped as he noticed something... off about this one rock. It looked like the others, but had a 'X' cut into it. A small hunch was all he had as he walked up the rock to push it, he just phased through it and started to tumble down a path, dropping the rocks along the way as he soon slammed into some kind of green wall. As he looked up and stood, he found the sight of what Garnet told him about.

Before him was the power crystal of the Kindergarden, destroyed by a large fist like construct. But what he is looking for was buried deep into the system. With sword in hand he starts to cut apart the machine, slowly but surely, in order to reach the core, but not to damage it. If it was damaged, it set his own plan back a few hundred years. Luckily... it only had minor damages, so he could at least acquire the gem list. The list was a missmash of genetic code the Homeworld made for different gems. Different personalities, powers, forms, etcetera, even what their gem would look like and be, much like how Amethyst was created.

As he browsed through the list, he stopped as he found four gem files that were created, but held no gem. These four would do marvelously. He found which gem pod they were in, which fell with him during his tumble. As he founds the pods they were connected to, he did one thing that he felt as odd. He pulled out his sword and destroyed the other pods, literally destroying code of hundreds of potential Earth made gems. He didn't care though, this was all a part of the plan. To retrieve the Marquis council man... to bring her back.

He arrived back at the archive with the pods in hand as he made his way to the control console. He looked up at the console and spoke "Archive. Bring forth room eight, Beta, Sigma" he said. In a flash of green light, a door opened and showed something similar to a science lab. Right above the door, a gem of spinel shape that was yellow in color was there. This room belonged to Yellow Spinel, the ex-head of research and development of the Homeworld gems before she was killed from one of her inventions backfiring on her and killing her... poor gem.

As he put the pods within massive tubes, he activated the machine and got the profiles ready. He made sure to get the right profiles, as the tubes slowly filled up with some weird, crystal green liquid and went through the extraction process of the five samples. There name's were Carnelian, Beryl, Kunzite, and finally Cymophane. These four would be his own creation.

These four, would be the Archivist's Guardians, gems made to protect the Archive and assist the Archivist in whatever way they deem necessary, from simple sampling to even a few more... dark means. Everything was going according to plan... well almost. Just as he was about to add in the detail of their gems, one of the Archive alarms go off and pulling a screen up, he saw one thing that made him nearly twitch from irritation. Right above the Earth, was a hand shaped ship from Homeworld, going towards Earth... and not even a day had passed since the deal was made. He normally wouldn't interfere, but since this planet has much more to show... he feels the need to interfere. He quickly added in the details for the gems of the four soon to be made gems as he left for a pad to Earth.
