The Truth Ch. 6

Darkness over ran me. I couldn't see a thing. I looked down to see myself in my regular form. I wasn't a pup now.

All I could see was my own weak body. It felt like I was burning with a chance to forget something. Starting to ask myself questions, it echoed through out the total blackness.

Each question I asked slipped away from my mind with ease. It was like trying to grab a fish with your paws. You grab it, and a few seconds later it slips out. I couldn't hold onto them.

A few seconds later white over came me nothing was seen for miles. It was like if I were inside that mysterious machine called 'Eclipse'. I still couldn't hear anything, except my very own claws hitting the floor while walking, and my own voice.

I started to walk slowly, as I heard my own feet drag along the white floor. I inhaled slowly, and looked around trying to find a slight difference in this white never ending landscape. Finally I found something a bit out of the ordinary. I saw what looked like a boulder. I drew closer to this mysterious artifact.

I looked around it, and saw a portal, and finally saw colors. I was uneasy if I should jump in or not, but decided to either way. It spun me around, as I twirled and turned. A few seconds later awoke in a semi-large den. "Where am I." Was the first thing I said out my mouth.

Looking around was a major turn off, because I didn't see any light or wolves. I looked down to my body, and noticed I was a pup. "Well seems like it was just a dream." He says laying his head on the cool ground. After a while of just sitting there I heard an familiar voice.

"Humphrey what are you doing? Don't just sit there move, and interact with people." I looked around to see nothing, and I shook my head.

"I must be going crazy. Ah maybe this mysterious voice is right." I let out a small sigh, and began walking around the den. "I haven't spoke to anyone for ages." Going tunnel through tunnel I finally saw brightness. "Finally." I thought to myself.

Checking my surroundings I found myself on a ledge of a large mountain. Forests covered the area. I didn't remember any of these places. The den filled with tunnels, and the look of the area.

"Seriously where am I?" He spoke this time, and heard a voice to the side of him.

"Hello son." Was the first thing out of that wolves mouth.

I looked at him, and he looked exactly like me, but darker. "Dad? Is that you?" This wolf nodded his head yes.

He smirked. "Well let me tell you something Humphrey." His dad began staring off the ledge of the mountain. He sat down with the wind blowing his fur back like if he were a god. "You might not remember what happened, but you will remember the names of those you care about. To you it's the pack, and your friends." His smirk turned into a small smile. "And to me it was you, and your mother. I didn't care about the rest of the pack. Hell I don't even remember the alpha's name." He spoke, as he finished with a single tear drop falling from his eye.

I smiled as well, as sat next to him. "Well you see dad." I began, and looked toward him. "I might have cared about my friends, but I care for you more. Nothing in this world can replace you. From now on, and until the day you die, I'll be with you." His dad, Kim, smirked.

"It's real kind of you to say that Humphrey, but it's time for us to separate." Kim stood up, and began to walk down the mountain. "See ya on the far side son." Were his final words to me, as he left leaving me on the mountain by myself.

"See you around dad. I love you." I spoke leaving the mountain side. I jumped down the rock I was sitting on, and hopped from rock to rock all the way to the safe ground. I arrived safe on the earth, and heard a few familiar voices. I turned around, and found Kate, Sebastian, and Black.

"Humphrey I think we should go home we spend to much time outside the western pack." Kate said.

Sebastian nodded his head. "Yeah it's been a while, since we got back." Black just looked a them concerned. He didn't say anything.

"Alright let's go. I think we should all have some rest." Black chuckled looking at them all.

"You guys can go to sleep on my back. I'll walk you guys home." He smiled having that trusting glimmer in his eye.

I stared into his beautiful eyes, and nodded. "Are you sure?"

Black didn't hesitate. "Well of course. You guys are pups after all." Kate agreed to this, and Sebastian did too.

"Well alright if you say so." I replied getting on his back.

Once I got on his back I heard a feminine voice that sounded odd. It calmly said "Time skip night." I was actually confused at the random voice. Looking around I saw the scene change. I jumped off frightened of what I just saw.

"Humphrey you alright?" Black, Kate, and Sebastian all said in unison. I was breathing harder than I have ever did, and steadily controlled my breathing.

"Yeah I'm alright just shocked." They all looked at me with worried expressions, but soon ended when I heard a wolf from behind me.

"Kate!" Said a raspy low voice.

"Dad!" Kate responded back hugging him. "Can we go home now I'm tired still." Winston nodded with a smile on his face, as they began leaving toward the alpha's den. "Night Humphrey see you in the morning."

Sebastian then jumped off Black's back, and walked up to me. "So you ready for you're first night alone brother?" He asked feeling bad for me. I nodded with a slight smirk.

"Yeah, because I know my father, and mother would always be in here." I set my paw on my heart, and stood up from the floor.

Sebastian slightly nodded, and began leaving toward his den. "Alright night brother see you in the morning." Now I looked toward Black, and he stared back at me.

He then looked past me seeing a few alpha's in the pack. He stared with love in his eye. "Umm Black?" I waved my paw in front of him knocking him out of his day dream. The girls giggled at him, and left to there own den.

"Oh um yeah. I should get going." He replied with a saddened voice. I looked up to him, and shook my head.

"No I think you should get a new pack here. Those girls you saw back there love you man." Black chuckled at the thought of mating with one of them.

Black finally agreed. "Alright sure. I'll stay here with your pack." He agreed walking toward the den the female wolves walked in. Black turned back, and said a few final words. "I'll see you in the morning. If these ladies let me go." Black replied with a wink, and walked in into the den.

I was left alone, and decided to walk toward my own den. Once I arrived there I laid down, and closed my eyes. I heard that mysterious lady once again. "Alright Humphrey. I'm taking you out of there." She stated. Looking around the scene turned white, and I started to grow tremendously. Once I stopped growing I looked around seeing a white landscape from like before.

"Where am I?" I asked myself, until my vision was over ran by darkness. I instantly awoke, as I sat down in a random tree looking thing. I was tied against it, until a human female untied me.

"Go to your room, and sleep. You'll remember everything tomorrow. Hopefully." She whispered. I walked out of the door, and looked around this mysterious facility. I didn't remember any of this. How could I have mysteriously teleported here.

Either way all the rooms I passed where empty. I turned left, and saw a white comfy thing, so I walked in. The door closed behind me, and a green light on top of the door turned red. I slowly walked toward the white comfortable thing, and laid on it. It was as comfortable as anything I have ever slept on. I began to drift into darkness quickly, and before I knew it. I was having dreams.

Anyways I hope you enjoyed the story, because it took a while to write. I'm so sorry for the 6 months delay. I held you up for so long now. I hope this was worth the wait, and I'm guessing it wasn't. Btw is Humphrey ever going to remember any of the things he did. Will his travels through his past just a waste of time? Where are Kate, and Sebastian? Anyways leave a review if you enjoyed the chapter, and have an awesome day/night guys. (Date just to show you how long it took.) Date: 1/3/2015 Time: 12:52 AM. Later.
