Warning, short scene/detail/flashback of attempted rape. Narcissa's point view:
"No," I shouted, fighting against my attacker in the darkly lit room, unsure of who it was. Pinning me down with his body, he groped my breast while his other hand went to his pants.
I bolted upright, breathing hard and sweating. I took a shallow breaths as my chest started to close as I hugged myself, tears running down my face. I hadn't had a dream of getting attacked in a long time, months really, but this had to of been one of the most vivid and realistic dream I ever had.
After I had calmed myself down, I moved out of bed, deciding to get something to drink, knowing that it would take a while to fall asleep again. I poured myself a cup of water from the sink, and I quickly drained a cup of water before returning to my room, where I lay down, hoping to fall asleep soon. After hours of waiting, staring at the moon lit room, sleep didn't come. Sighing and gathering my courage, I tiptoed to Percy's room, where he snored softly. With the faint light, I could see him sleeping with his mouth open.
He really is handsome, I thought as I approached the bed.
"Percy," I said quietly, touching his shoulder, causing him to jerk awake.
"What's wrong?" he asked, half sitting up, showing his bare chest.
"I had a bad dream," I explained.
"Here," Percy said as she scooted over and pulling back the blankets. "Stay with me."
I got under the covers as Percy wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close. I sighed as I put my head on his chest.
"What did you dream about?" Percy asked quietly.
"I had a flashback and I couldn't get back to sleep," I replied.
He didn't say anything as his hands ran down my back, and his presents was calming. Slowly I fell asleep. When I woke up, I lay in the same position as light filtered in the room, making me think it was later in the day. I sighed in contentment. I loved the feel of waking up in his arms.
"Good morning," Percy said in a deep voice.
"Morning." I lifted my head to look into blue eyes.
"You know, I don't mind you having bad dreams if this means if I'm going to wake up with you in my arms in the morning," he said. "I can't wait for you to my wife."
I giggled as Percy kissed me firmly. I enjoyed his kisses as I cupped his cheek. When I pulled away from him, I sighed and rested my head on his chest, my ear pressed firmly to it.
"What's on the agenda today?" I asked.
"It's up to you, really," Percy replied, his voice reverberated through where my ear lay.
"We aren't doing anything with your family?" I asked.
"Not today, we aren't," Percy explained. "Dad wanted to take Mum out on some boat trip on the lake. I think he's going to try Muggle fishing." I snorted before Percy continued. "George and Angela are sightseeing in a near-by Muggle town. Something about a Muggle joke shop, and I'm sure George will steal gather some new ideas from there."
"Angela seems good for him," I commented.
"She is. He …" Percy sighed. "He seems back to him old self."
"Were you worried he wouldn't be?" I asked quietly.
"I think we all were … are. Loosing Fred hit him the hardest." Percy fell silent as I lifted my head again, looking at him.
"I wish I could've met him." I caressed his face with my hand.
"I do too." A sad grin covered his face. "I wouldn't have heard the end of it, dating an older woman."
"Or being engaged to one."
I smiled at him before giving him a long, slow kiss a Percy threaded his hand through my hair, realizing I couldn't wait to be his wife either.
Six months later:
Draco sighed dramatically as Fleur did the final touches on my make-up.
"You okay there, Draco?" I asked dryly from my chair.
"Fine," he grunted. As the wedding had gotten closer and closer, the more and more Draco sulked and pulled away from me.
I didn't say anything, but promised myself to try to talk to him if we had a moment alone.
"Zere," Fleur announced. "Percy zill not take his eze off of you."
I smiled at my reelection in the mirror. My makeup was simple, but brought out my eyes.
"Thank you," I said, smiling at my soon to be sister-in-law.
"It iz no problem," Fleur replied.
"We'd better get you into your dress," Andromeda said.
Within a few minutes and with my sister's help, I changed into my strapless sweetheart neckline and a beaded waistline that fell to my knees. I check over my reflection in my mirror, not believing that I was going to be married in half-an-hour. The thought of it, made my eyes fill with tears.
"Oh, Narcissa," Andromeda said, wrapping an arm around me. "Please don't cry."
"Sorry." I blinked away my tears before they could spill over. "I'm just so happy, and I can't believe I found someone."
"You deserve this. Both you and Percy deserve each other, and I'm really glad you met him," Andromeda gave me a gentle squeeze. "Let's go get your man."
I laughed and turned to open the door, earning squeals of delight.
"Oh, Narcissa!" Molly exclaimed. "It's prefect. You're absolutely beautiful."
"Thank you, Molly." I smiled at her as she handed me a cup of tea; I wasn't sure if it was to calm her nerves or mine.
A half an hour later, Andromeda approached me with a bouquet of light purple flowers that she put together. "It's time," she said.
I smiled as we lined up in the kitchen of the Burrow. Craning my neck, I looked through the windows for my soon to be husband, but he and ceremony were out of sight. Charlie led Molly to her place upfront before Billy and Fleur carried Teddy and Victoria down the aisle.
"I'll see you in a moment," Andromeda said, smiling at me before Arthur led her out the kitchen door and out of site.
"I'm going to miss you, Mum," Draco said quietly as Andromeda's head went out of sight. "I love you though, and I'm glad you've found Percy."
"Thank you, Draco." I kissed his cheek.
As soon as the music changed, I took a deep breath and allowed Draco to lead me out the door. As soon as I rounded the corner and saw Percy, everything melted away.
Percy's point of view:
She was stunning, was the thought that ran through my mind as I held onto Narcissa's hands throughout the ceremony, unaware of anything and everything. At the end of it, I gave her a brief kiss that still earned a wolf whistle from someone (I suspected it was George). Narcissa and I walked swiftly down the aisle. As soon as I we entered the kitchen, I gave her a slow, passionate kiss.
Pulling away from her, I gave her a huge smile as I cupped her cheek.
"How are you feeling, my wife." I smiled down at her.
"Amazing." She gave me a slow, sweet kiss. "My husband."
Epilogue will be up next.
