Percy's point of view, five years later:
"Daddy, Daddy!" my two-and-a-half year old, Daisy yelled as she ran toward me as soon as I stepped through the door.
I picked her up and gave her a big kiss on her cheek. "How was your day?"
"Draco buy me ice cream, Daddy, and we went to the zoo," Daisy said as I carried her into the kitchen, where Draco stood eating a sandwich.
"Did he now?" I raised an eyebrow at my stepson.
"Molly had an ice cream too, but Draco wouldn't let us get two scoops." She frowned at her older brother.
"We just had lunch, Daisy." Draco returned his sister's frown.
"He did let me get rainbow sprinkles, Daddy! Molly got in trouble though. Mummy sent her to her room," Daisy continued.
"What did she do now?" I asked.
"Mum wanted you to go talk to her," Draco said commented.
"What's Narcissa doing now?" I asked, putting down the squirming Daisy, who ran to the table and picked up the crayon and started to color a half finished picture.
"She's laying down," Draco replied. "I'm worried about her. She keeps complaining about her back, so that's why I took the girls today."
"Thank you." I sighed. "I'm surprised she hasn't had the babies yet."
"I am too, and she wouldn't tell us if she thought she was in labor until the last minute."
"I agree." I glanced upstairs. "I'll go check on Molly. Will you stay for dinner?"
"I wouldn't miss your mum's cooking." Draco leaned against the counter.
I grinned at him. "She'd love that, and she loves cooking for anyone she thinks is too skinny." Draco snorted, and I grinned at him. "Well I'd better go check on Molly."
I walked up the stairs quickly to my eldest daughter's room. The four year old sat gloomily at the small table that had become her 'time out' table. She'd taken after Fred and George's silly behavior, but she was very stubborn. I loved her for it, but with Narcissa's pregnancy with twins, I often worried about her drain on my wife.
"Molly," I said softly, taking a seat across from her, noticing a big chunk of hair missing from her bangs. "What happened to your hair?"
"Well, Daddy," she started as if it were obvious. "I needed a haircut, and Draco wouldn't take me, and Mummy's too tired."
"So you tried to do it yourself?" I asked.
"Well, no one would take me, Daddy." She frowned at me.
"It's not the right time, honey. What did I tell you about bothering Mummy right now?" I reminded her.
Molly sighed dramatically. "To be kind to her and to listen because Mummy feels tired right now," she said in a bored tone. "Can I be out of time out now, Daddy? I'll do better and not make Mummy tired anymore."
"Yes, you can go down now. Grandma and Grandpa should be almost here," I said.
"Can I see Mummy?" Molly asked.
"How about in a little bit? Mummy's resting now, honey." Standing, I picked up my daughter and gave her a kiss as she wrapped her arms around me.
"Draco took us to the zoo today," Molly said.
"That's what Daisy said, and he bought you ice cream?" I asked.
"It was so yummy! I like it when Draco takes us out."
I laughed. "I know you do. Your older brother always buys you something."
"I think everyone should have a big brother like Draco," Molly said.
"Why don't you go tell him thank you?" I asked, setting her down as I stepped outside of her room.
"Okay!" She ran down the stairs, making a ton of noise as she went.
"That child," I muttered as I went to the master bedroom at the end of the hall. The door stood half an inch open, and I quietly opened it to find Narcissa laying on her side with her hand on her belly. Narcissa opened her eyes at me as I approached the bed.
"How are you feeling," I asked as I sat gently next to her.
"Tired," she said. "I think we may need to go to St. Mungo's soon."
"Do you want me to get your bag?" I asked, and she nodded. I leaned forward and kissed her. "I love you very much, you know that?"
"I love you too, Percy." She smiled up at me before her smile faded. "I'm having back pain, and it won't stop."
"I'll grab your bag." I quickly grabbed her packed bag, shrank it, and put it in the pocket of my robes before I returned to her side. "Here, let me help you," I said as she tried to sit up, but she stopped and moaned and clutched her stomach.
"Wait," Narcissa said as she clutched her stomach. "Oh, Percy. It hurts."
"Breath, Narcissa," I encouraged as I took her hand.
After a few long minutes, I led Narcissa down the stairs.
"Is everything, okay," Mum asked from the bottom of the stairs.
"She's in labor," I replied. "I'm glad you're here to watch the girls."
"And we'll take them to our house tonight," Mum said as we walked to the fireplace. "Shall I get the girls so they can say goodbye?"
"Yes, but please hurry," Narcissa said.
Mum bustled out of the room and into the living room, where I could see Dad had the Muggle train set laid out as they played with it. They loved it when their grandpa came over to play with him. It was amazing seeing my parents be wonderful grandparents to my children.
"Mummy, are you going to have the babies?" Molly asked from my mother's arms while Dad carried Daisy.
"Yes, sweetheart," Narcissa said. "Come give me a kiss goodbye."
Molly leaned forward in Mum's arms and puckered her lips, earning a kiss from Narcissa. "Mummy, I'm sorry I cut my hair and made you sad," Molly said.
Narcissa laughed gently. "I forgive you," she said.
"I'm going to miss you, Mummy, but I get a sleepover at Grandma's house," Daisy said, stealing away Molly's attention.
"Have fun at Grandma's," Narcissa said, giving our daughter a kiss.
"Make sure to owl us when the babies get here," Mum said.
"I will."
Within the next twenty minutes, I got Narcissa to St. Mungo's, where we were admitted and check out by our Healer, who'd we worked with on all of our pregnancies.
"You're doing well, Narcissa," the Healer said. "I think you're on your way to delivering naturally."
Narcissa nodded. "When can I get some pain potion?"
"I'll grab you some now," she replied. "If you need anything else, let someone know, but you two know what to expect."
When the Healer left, Narcissa laid back and closed her eyes. "How's the pain?" I asked, taking her hand as I sat in the chair next to her.
"Its bad, but I'll managed," Narcissa said, opening her eyes to look at me.
I reached out to rub her belly. "I'm so glad we're having these children together."
Narcissa smiled at me gently. "I am too, Percy. I really am. I know I've said this before, but, I can't believe that I have you and the girls. After everything I went through, I never dreamed of having this life with anyone. I'm so happy with you and the girls."
"I am too," I replied as I continued to caress her stomach, feeling one of the babies kick against my hand. "I'm hoping one of these babies is a boy though."
Narcissa laughed. "Draco told me he hopes so too-doesn't want to be outnumbered by sisters." Narcissa took a sharp breath and leaned forward over her stomach. "Oh, my gosh, Percy."
"I'm here, Narcissa," I said, moving so I could rub her back to try and relieve the discomfort. "Take a deep breath, and blow it out," I encouraged her. I went through a breathing route until the contraction stopped.
After several more contractions, the Healer returned with pain potions. Ten hours later, I held my new born son and daughter in my arms while Narcissa slept. She'd delivered the babies in five hours, and she'd just fallen asleep after feeding both of them. I stared at their little faces as I held my children. Even though I'd had two children before this, the love I had for both of them was mindboggling.
John sucked his thumb into his mouth. He looks like Dad, I thought. Alison, who had Narcissa's beauty with the Weasley red hair, slept with her mouth open. She'd be stunning when she got older, and I shuttered at the thought of any of my girls dating. Alison face scrunched up and she started to cry loudly.
"Shhh, sweetie," I said, rocking to try to get to fall asleep again. "It's alright."
"Percy?" Narcissa as she stirred.
"I think she's hungry," I said, and when Narcissa was sitting up, I handed her our youngest daughter.
"Isn't that better?" Narcissa asked Alison started to nurse. "She's so beautiful."
"Just like her mother," I commented, earning a huge smile from Narcissa.
"Are your parents coming?" she asked.
"Yes, and Draco may come too," I said. "I think Charlie wanted to do something with the girls."
Narcissa nodded as her eyes fell on Alison. "Your mummy's pretty girl. Do you feel better now?" Alison said, stroking her cheek.
"Percy?" Narcissa said.
"Yes?"
"I never told how glad I am that we met," Narcissa said. "Thank you for giving me a family."
"I'm glad we meet too, Narcissa." I leaned forward, giving her a kiss. "I love you."
"I love you." Narcissa smiled at me, so glad that she was mine.
The end.
