Sorry for the late update, writers block. Also I'm quite surprised about what I've turned this story into, this plot originally wasn't intended. But after a couple weird dreams and enough Greek mythology to kill a horse, the imagination runs wild while typing. Anyways enjoy.

Later on that night after eating and catching up for a bit everybody begun to settle down. Jin was sitting at the table with Echo, who had just finished up wrapping his arms up in a proper sling. "So, how long do you think it will take to heal?"

"Unfortunately a couple weeks" Echo sighed, "let's not worry about it though."

On the other side of the room Evei and Frieda were already settled down for bed. Both girls were sitting on a blanket Aki had found. "It's so strange isn't it" Evei spoke while looking up at the ceiling.

"What is?" Frieda questioned while propping herself on her elbow to look at her friend.

"Everything that's happened in the past few days…most of came here for help, or to get away, and now we're hiding from Greek hybrids and a guy who wants to kill us. Not to mention that we are apparently supposed to save the world as guardians and protectors."

"That is pretty weird" Frieda admitted, "but we have to, I mean we can't just let Doji take over the world with her weird hybrids." Evei sighed,

"I had gone there because I was forced and maybe as a little escape from my life, just for a little."

"Evei" Frieda smiled, "your mark"

"What about it? It's a dumb bird."

"No, if you look closely it's a dove."

"A black dove?"

"Aki says out marks will represent us. The Egyptians believed the dove represented quite innocence. And the Chinese though it to represent peace and long life. A lot of people also believe it to represent love."

"I'm not a quite innocent, maybe peaceful and I have never loved. And why is it black?"

"It represents how you are different" Aki added in, she was sitting cross legged on the torn sofa in front of them. She lowered her voice "I shouldn't be telling you this, but…I once read a prophecy, one e had taken from Ziggurats lab, it said-"

"Akira comes help me with this, now." Akira growled as if she knew what Aki was going to tell the girls.

"But Akira, Frieda and Evei should at least know about the prophecy after all they are-"

"Aki" she warned.

"Sorry girls."

"Man" Evei said, "I have to know now."

Frieda shrugged, "She'll tell when the time is right Evei, be patient and don't do anything stupid."

Quick reminded that Zeo is a hybrid of the Teumessian Fox: a gigantic fox that was destined never to be caught, it's said that that it was sent by the gods to prey on the child of the city of Thebes as a punishment for a national crime.

Zeo howled out in pain as his back hit the rocks behind him. Hikari proved to be tougher than she looked, under the Kimono she had been wearing she had black top with short cargo shorts and brown boots. She had taken the annoying kimono off to fight with Zeo. Zeo on the other hand choose not to change into his Teumessian Fox form right away, which was a bad move on his part. Hikari attacked him right away with a silver dagger. She managed to cut his left cheek and sliced across his chest. At some point Zeo had her on the ground with her dagger to her throat, but that changed quickly. She had pushed Zeo off with her foot and slammed him into the rocks.

"Gee, you're strong" He rubbed the bump that was forming on his head. Hikari had retreated to a nearby rock ledge above him. She had drawn her bow and was ready to shoot. Her arrow seemed to glow silver along with her aura.

"Silver" Zeo mumbled, "You must be part of Artemis's hunt."

"Indeed."

"I've heard about you guys. You pelage your life to virgin lady Artemis, to join her hunt and reject men for the rest of your life and you'll always be immortal, unless you break your vows. So you must be an expert shot considering Lady Artemis used bows often." Hikari nodded her head and released her arrow. The gleaming arrow hit the white pendant around his neck. The rock cracked and Zeo grew mad.

"That pendant was special to you, why?" She demanded. Zeo ignored her and the other red pendant glowed. after the glowing light disappeared Zeo stood in her Teumessian Fox form. A fox as big as Hikari (who stood about 5"6') his fur was the same as a normal fox but red color was more like Zeo's hair and his eyes were an intense turquoise. He growled bearing his fangs. Hikari's eyes widened as Zeo tackled her. They both went tumbling down the rock cliff side.

Zeo landed on top of Hikari, who was actually hurt with scratches all over her body and blood coming from the side of her head and mouth. "Aren't you supposed to be immortal?" He growled.

"I read about a boy named Toby in the paper a few years back, in the picture of him he had the same white pendant…" She ignored his question. "He died because Ziggurat killed him while performing his hybrid experiments. He was your best friend and you've kept his pendant ever since and when I destroyed it your instincts told you to kill me." Zeo placed a paw on her neck, ready to finish business.

"So you're not immortal? You broke your promise to Artemis you fell in love with someone." Hikari smiled,

"Yes it was a very long time ago, lady Artemis was furious, she sent me here as punishment to protect this village." She choked back tears, "I've been alone since…" Zeo sighed and shifter all his weight on to her neck. It was over quickly and Zeo knew he'd done her a favor. She lived her life filled with loneliness, not allowed to love. from the look in her eyes he could tell she was ready to go.

But still he had never killed anyone before, now he hoped he wouldn't regret it later on.
