Well, it's been a while, eh? I know. I'm such an asshat for not updating for such a long time. Life gets in the way, and a person can lose a bunch of motivation for writing.

I've had a lot of things happen in my life in the past few years; moving everywhere, family emergencies, meeting the love of my life who I am now engaged to, and otherwhat nots. I really don't have much of an excuse for me not updating other than I just lost all the motivation. Surprisingly enough, this fanfic actually takes a bit of research, maybe nothing compared to a science fiction story, but reading up on Ancient Egyption culture, religion, and customs can be frustrating at times. It doesn't help that everything constantly changed back then and I'm broke and can't buy all the books I need, but oh wells! Google will have to do, eh?

But the reason for this author's note, I know...it's not a chapter, I'm such an ass; I am going to continue this. Updates won't be consistent but I feel a tiny flame in me come to life. My fiance actually just told me how he read my story and loved it, which actually gave me confidence since I've been suffering with depression for a bit. Maybe this story will help me fight the negative thoughts in my head? We'll see!

Just give me a bit of time, since it's been years since I last wrote, and I don't want to disappoint you. The upcoming chapters are actually gonna take quite a bit of time to write since I'm going to need to do quite a bit of research on the history, agriculture, religion, and so many other things on Egypt in this time period. It's kind of scary for some reason..lol

Give me just a bit of time to watch a bit of the anime, as well as the manga, research some things, remember what I had going and I will have this updated hopefully pretty soon. I don't know exactly when, but if anything, here's a bit of a preview:

The sound of footsteps echoed in an empty hallway; the sound give a foreshadowing of something so much more. It was constant, never faltering or hesitating. The sound seemed to get closer to a balcony, where generations of powerful and mysticals beings have stood, watching their land as the sands of time shifted into what it was today.

The dawn of a new Pharaoh.

The silhouette of a man stepped into the watchful gaze of Re; features of the being coming into light.

Smooth skin, yet not without it's scars of harsh and vigourous training with weapons and magic. The skin was the shade of the desert itself, radienting a warmth that reflected the sands.

A whoosh of a cape could be heard with every step, the cloth bellowing in the winds,taking a life of its own. A color of royalty itself, passed on for generations by fellow powerful beings, yet it never seemed quite fitting for it's holder until now.

And if a person listened quietly, a soft jingle could be heard. The music came from the gold that had been blessed for several weeks for the wearer. The Gods themselves have brushed against the jewelry that the being was wearing now. Yet, there was one piece that stood on its own, a magic forebidden, yet timeless encompassing the piece of history.

If one looked closely enough, the piece seemed to be a puzzle, yet so complicated, no one would ever be able to solve with it's twists and unforgiving patterns. Yet, this wasn't just any puzzle; held only by a blessed piece of rope, was the most powerful millennium item. Of course, it purpose not quite clear, but soon it would be.

It gleemed in the light of Re, yet instead of just reflecting and succumbing to the light, the piece seemed to give it's own light, challenging the God of Gods, Re, refusing to be just another subject under the mystical entity. With such a powerful item, however, it's holder must have a power of their own. And not just any power, but a power blessed and granted by the very Gods.

Yet this being never faltered.

This powerful force had a future not yet known, but would change the course of history of not only it's land, but the world. Who was this being? Why, only a single being could handel such a daunting task. A being who was just crowned moments ago;
