Chapter 8-Not Strong Enough (Apocalyptica)

(Percy POV)

When I got to the top of the hill, both Thalia and Nico gave me questioning glances. Clearly meaning that they had seen that little scene with Annabeth. Instead of answering their unspoken question, I just shook my head, letting them know that I didn't want to get into it right now. After all, we had work to do, and now wasn't the time to be worrying about Annabeth being mad at me. Without a word, I climbed into the Camp's delivery van.

Thanks to Argus, we made it to the Empire State Building with a little time to spare. Hoping the doorman wouldn't give us too much of a hassle, the three of us made our way inside. After all, we didn't want to spend more time outside than we had to.

More likely than not, from the moment we left camp half-blood we popped up on every monsters radar from here to New Jersey. I mean, all three children of the Big Three in the same place at the same time? It was probably a good thing we didn't have to walk all the way here.

"Well, what can I do for you three today?" The doorman asked once we had stepped up to his podium.

"We need the key to the six hundredth floor." Thalia replied. "and don't try that `there's no such thing` bullshit either. After all, you got all the children of the Big Three in here. Do you know how many monsters are after us right now?"

The doorman paled. "Here you go, ma'am," he said handing over the key card to Olympus. "Have a nice day."

Thalia accepted the Key Card with a slight smirk while my jaw dropped in amazement.

He didn't even put up a fight, I thought furiously, Unfair!

"That's bullshit." I told Thalia and Nico on the way over to the elevator.

"What is?" Nico asked, a confused look on his face.

"Anytime I ask for the key to Olympus, he always puts up way more of a fight than that," I complained, "but Thalia askes for the damn thing and she doesn't even have to work for it."

Thalia just smirks at me before pressing the 'up' button on the elevator. "What can I say? Maybe he just likes me more than you?"

I scowl. "Asshole."

"Fish-dick," she replied.

"Bitch-bolt."

"Sea-scrodum."

I started to retort, only to stop due to the look of amusement and the silent laughter coming from the Son of Hades. I felt my face turn bright red, and I shut up. No use and entertaining our youngest companion.

The doors to the elevator opened, and as Thalia walked in, she called to me over her shoulder. "I win."

I had to bite the inside of my lip to keep from restarting the argument. Our training couldn't start quick enough.

(Nico POV)

It took everything I had not to burst out laughing out loud. Anytime Thalia and Percy were together in the same room for more than a few minutes, they started fighting. It was priceless honestly,

They were like brother and sister. Although, I had a distinct feeling that Thalia wouldn't like being Percy's 'sister'. Despite the fact that Thalia was a hunter, I had a feeling that she liked the Son of Poseidon as a lot more than a friend, or brother. With the looks she sometimes shot Percy when he wasn't looking, it was obvious that she had feelings for him. Of course, he was so damn clueless he probably never noticed. Hell, he wouldn't be able to figure out his feelings if Aphrodite herself told him.

Sadly, for me anyway, the elevator ride was fairly quiet. Apparently, Percy had decided it would be better to let Thalia win, and just concentrate on the mission. Soon enough, the doors to the elevator opened and I got my first glimpse of Olympus. Unlike Thalia, and Percy, I had never been to Mount Olympus.

It was fairly beautiful for something with so much color. Looking around I decided I preferred my father's palace over Olympus. However, I guess I'm a little biased being a Son of Hades and all.

Glancing between my cousins, I walked out of the elevator and into Olympus, the home of the gods.

(Kratos POV)

(Didn't see that coming did you?)

I glanced around my new home, ironically enough on Olympus. The very place I swore to tear down brick by brick. My new home was an exact replica of my old home in Sparta with a large open and green field around it, surrounded by large pine trees in a large circle. The back door of my home, instead of leading to the back half of my house, led to the inside of my patron, Athena's home on Olympus.

It was her will that I was to live here with the children of the Big Three and train them for the next year or so. If the children were truly as week as they looked, he would need far more than a year to train them to be strong enough to defeat a titan.

"Well, I'm not the one who shot Chiron in the tail with an arrow!" A voice yelled from the back of my house.

I turned to my house from my spot in the middle of the field, as a second voice spoke up, "Hey, that was like three, almost four years ago! It wasn't like I meant to! How do you even know about that?"

"Demigods!" I heard a voice that I recognized as Athena. "Now, is not the time to be fighting amongst yourselves. Pull yourselves together."

The door to my home flung open, and out walked the goddess of wisdom and my new apprentices.

"Welcome to the home of the ghost of Sparta, demigods." Athena announced. I smirked in anticipation.

(A/N): And finally the newest chapter in this story. Sorry this hasn't been posted sooner or that I haven't been able to update as often as I should, I've been pretty busy with a lot of stuff right now. I'm trying to find a job, I got a kid on the way, and I got jumped just as week ago by to guys with a knife. So please take that into consideration when you ask for updates and stuff, but anyway. This is nothing but basically a filler chapter, the next chapter will be action packed however, as Percy and Co.'s training begins, and I would like feedback on what everyone would like to see Kratos give them as new weapons to help them get stronger. I have a general idea of what I want, but I do like to know what other people think. If its a good idea, I'll include it. Anyways, as always, thanks for reading, have a good day and goodbye.
