AN: And here's the new chapter. I thought I would have it done sooner, but I hit a slight writers block. Writing a sass off between Eric and Loki was more difficult then I thought it would be... well you'll see what I mean and hopefully I did well!

I also had difficulty picking out a song for this chapter. I settled on Bad Romance. What do you guys think? Does that fit? If not I'm open to suggestions.

Replies:

Tennyo Ch'ang-O: Some of your questions will be answered in this chapter. As for the Avengers appearing, Thor and Natasha might be the only ones in this story, I am thinking of possibly adding more in the final chapter but not sure, but in the next one I promise you more will appear.

angelicedg: You will just have to wait and see.

Mistress-Cinder: Well I figured everything can't always run smoothly right? I needed to spice it up. Tee Hee.

Song: Bad Romance – Lady Gaga

Thor, Jane, and Darcy road in Jane's van to Fangtasia, while Thor explained all that Loki had told him.

"So some evil fairy king wants to force Sook to be his bride as revenge against Loki? Sookie's already taken though... Isn't polygamy a bad thing?" Darcy asked from the backseat.

"Taken?" Thor was confused now.

"Sookie is kinda married now in a way." Jane supplied.

"How is one 'kinda' married?"

"Well it wasn't a traditional human wedding so we're still iffy about all the details." Jane replied.

Before Thor could ask anything else, they arrived at the parking lot of a building that Thor thought to be odd. Everyone was wearing leather and were almost naked. A blond woman at the door looked to them and motioned for them to go around.

Once they were at the back of the building and out of the car, the woman was coming out of the backdoor. She was wearing a tight leather dress. She looked Thor up and down then coked her head.

"I didn't know Eric had a brother."

Darcy then stepped up, "Pam, Thor God of Thunder, Thor, Pam the Badass Vampire Bitch."

Pam smirked, "You flatter me, Darcy. You know my bed is always open to you."

"Vampire? I have never heard of a vampire."

Pam raised an eyebrow, "To sum it up: I'm dead, have fangs, and drink blood." She looked away from an alarmed Thor to Darcy, "Now what was this emergency?"

"Sookie's in danger." Jane spoke up this time.

Before anyone could react, the backdoor slammed open revealing Eric who had blood on him here and there.

"Sookie's in danger?" He growled.

"What the hell, Eric?!" Darcy was alarmed and Jane was to shocked to speak up, "Who's blood is that?!"

Eric vamped to Darcy and glared down at her, showing a bit of fang, "Yours next if you don't tell me what the fuck happened to Sookie."

Darcy eeped and looked to Jane.

Jane shakily started to explain, "A guy named Oberon is planning to kidnap Sookie and force her to marry him. We came here to warn her."

"And why would he do that? I mean Sookie is delectable, but why does he want her so badly?" Pam spoke up.

Thor was the one to speak up this time, "As revenge against my brother, Loki."

Eric growled and checked his bond with Sookie. She seemed alarmed about something, and that's all he needed to shoot up into the sky.

Pam sighed, "Well I guess we should take this party on the road."

Loki and Sookie continued to stare at each other. Unsure about what to say. Loki had dreamed of this moment for the past year. It was the longest year of his life. She looked so beautiful and when he saw her fight, she was a radiant goddess. A lot had happened to his faery it would seem, and he couldn't be more prouder. At least she could handle what was to come their way.

"You're... How?" Sookie asked still in awestruck.

"My mother helped with my escape, I knew about this attack on you and had to make sure you were well protected," Loki began to slowly approach, "Now we haven't much time. Oberon has surely sent out more minions to try and take you. We must find a safe place to hide you."

"Oberon? Minions? I... I'm still trying to figure out if this is real or just another dream."

Loki smiled and brought Sookie close, "It's not, Miss Faery. Allow me to prove it to you."

Loki then kissed Sookie with those cool soft lips she remembered so vividly. It was Loki. He was really here. She kissed back for a moment, then Eric's face popped into her mind and she gently pushed him away.

Loki looked down at her in confusion.

"Sookie, I know this is all a shock..."

"It's not that, it's just... I'm with some-."

Before Sookie could finish her sentence, a hard force slammed Loki across the lawn. That force was a very pissed off blond vampire.

Eric snarled and moved Sookie protectively behind him.

"You must be Oberon." He growled.

Sookie moved back around, holding her hands up to Eric, she was alarmed by the blood on his body for a second, but then collected herself.

"Eric, no. He's not-"

"Sookie, go inside while I dispatch our uninvited guest." His eyes were to focused on the man who was now getting up.

Loki glared at him this time, "And who are you to order her about?"

"I'm her husband."

Loki's heart dropped.

"Husband?"

"Yes, so you can take your vengeance against that prick Loki somewhere else."

Sookie couldn't look at Loki, she didn't want to see the hurt in his eyes, "Eric... He is Loki."

Eric looked away from the god to his wife. He could feel the truth and conflict in their bond.

Eric looked back at Loki and sized him up, "This is Loki?"

Eric hadn't expected the god to look like this in the slightest. He was completely his opposite. Dark hair and eyes, slender. He didn't know what to make of him. Thor looked more godly then this stick.

Loki on his part was also sizing Eric up. To the god he looked like a barbaric version of his brother. Especially with the blood all over him. Loki decided he must have manipulated his Sookie into marrying him given she was probably vulnerable when he had left her. He did tell her to see other suitors, but to get married only a year of his absence? No, he wouldn't allow this barbarian to go unpunished for manipulating his intended Queen.

Eric smirked, "I expected someone godly, not a Lord of the Rings reject."

Loki plastered on a smile, Sookie remembered that smile, it was the same one he had in Germany when they first met. This was not going to be good.

"I have no idea what that is, but at least I know how to bathe myself before greeting my lady."

Eric glared, "Your lady? All I see is my wife," Eric smirked again, "As for bathing, it's a pass time I enjoy with my wife nightly."

Loki was glaring back this time.

Sookie didn't know what to do, she could feel the tension and both of them were wound so tight she knew they were about to snap. She was about to say something, but then a white hot pain went into her shoulder. When she looked there was a knife in her back. There was then a burning sensation and she began to scream and fall to her knees. The men were so focused on each other they hadn't sensed one of the men Sookie had knocked out earlier had come to.

"Sookie!" both exclaimed and went to her side.

Eric quickly took the blade out and licked the tip then growled.

"Lemon juice on a iron dagger." He glared at the now retreating man.

Loki glared at the man, he understood the implication. Fae had only two weaknesses: lemon juice and iron. The bastard had tried to kill his Sookie. He quickly pulled a blade out and threw it into the cowards back, killing him.

While Loki took care of the intruder, Eric took off his shirt and pressed it on Sookie's shoulder while he carefully rolled her onto her back, her head resting on his lap. He then bit his wrist and placed it in her mouth.

Loki looked disgusted, "What are you doing?!"

Eric glared at him, "I'm trying to heal her, now shut up." He looked down at Sookie and petted her hair back with his free hand, "Drink, älskling." He whispered to Sookie.

Once his blood touched Sookie's tongue she convulsed and threw it up. This alarmed Eric, he had never seen this before.

"Healing her my arse." Loki growled and Eric growled right back at him.

"It usually works!"

Soon they were joined by Pam, Darcy, Jane, and, to Loki's annoyance, Thor.

Thor was shocked, "Loki, how are you here?"

Loki glared at him, "There's no time for that, can't you see Sookie's injured? This wouldn't have happened if you had just let me out when I told you to!"

Eric looked to Pam, "My blood didn't heal her, call Dr. Ludwig and have her come here."

Everyone was now inside Eric's home. Sookie was on the couch. Jane was cleaning her wound, trying to ignore the tense vibe between the two men behind her. Eric was sitting on the chair by the couch, while Loki was leaning against the wall closest to the couch on the other side. Both glaring daggers at each other.

Pam soon walked in with Darcy in tow.

"I finally got a hold of the good Doctor. She should be popping in soon."

As soon as Pam said that, she did in fact pop in making Darcy jump.

"What is with you supernatural beings and just appearing?"

Doctor Ludwig surveyed the room then went straight to her patient. She looked over the girl's wounds, then looked to Eric.

"She's part fae and was stabbed with an iron dagger coated with lemon juice?"

Eric nodded, "I tried to give her my blood but she reacted badly to it."

'The girl's lucky she's only part fae... as well as whatever else she is." The doctor gently pressed her finger into Sookie's wound to get some blood, then she licked it, "...Something ancient..." She looked to Loki, "I don't suppose the Prince of Asgard would have any ideas?"

Loki raised an eyebrow, "And how is it you know of me?"

The doctor waved him off and went to work, "I know a lot of things. Like the fact that this girl is of the Brigant clan."

There was a new tension in the air now.

"Um and this means what?" Darcy spoke up.

"The Brigants are the rulers of the Fae of the Sky. Meaning this girl is of royal blood. My guess is she's Niall's great grand daughter." Ludwig explained.

Loki tensed up. He knew Niall. He was part of the reason Oberon hated him so. A thought then came to his mind.

"That would make Sookie in line for the throne, yes?" Loki questioned, Ludwig nodded, and he smirked at Eric, "Then she is my wife."

Eric arouse from his seat, glaring at the god, "And how do you figure that?"

"Sookie is a Princess of the Fae, I am a Prince of Asgard, by royal rite, since I was her first ever bed partner, and she was willing, she is my wife."

Ludwig spoke up, "He is right Northman. By Fae and Asgardian law, she is his wife."

Eric growled, "And by vampire law she is mine! We blood bonded."

Ludwig tilted her head as she continued to work, "That is also very serious. A blood bond can only be broken through death... And before you plan out Northman's death, your highness, if a bonded pair is ever separated it can harm the other mentally. Most will even follow the other to their death."

"Wait, so are you saying Sookie is married to both of them?!" Darcy's eyes widened.

"Technically speaking, Yes. Vampire law is recognized by the Fae as well." Ludwig then turned back to Sookie, "I'll have to examine her, so every one leave. Perhaps you two can work this all out and learn to share since I doubt either of you wishes to relinquish their claim."

Both glared at each other, each wishing to murder the other.

Eric mock bowed, "After you, your highness."

Loki sneered and they both left the room and headed to the dining room across the hall as Thor entered the house. The god of thunder watched as his brother and the vampire went into the room and closed the doors to it. He had gone to patrol the outside to make sure none of Oberon's men had come.

"What's going on?" He asked.

Jane cringed, "Let's just say everything just got more complicated."

The sound of wood breaking against the wall in the room made everyone jump.

Pam sighed, "I say we give those two some time alone. I think Eric has a bottle of wine in the basement."

As soon as they were alone in the room, it all started. The straw had finally broken the camel's back.

"You come back after a year and already you're causing problems for Sookie." Eric growled from one side of the dining room table.

"I'm causing problems? Who's blood was that on your shirt?" Loki crossed his arms over his chest from the other side of the table.

"That's none of your business, and for your information Sookie knew what I was doing tonight."

"Sookie's not the type to condone violence."

"What do you know about Sookie!? You knew her only for a few days!"

Loki slammed his hands down on the table, "And you think you know her better then I just because of the amount of time we spent together?! I know Sookie far better then you do! Do you know of her past? How she was abused as a child?"

Eric kept his face blank. He had not known that.

"How about the mental torment she goes through daily because of her telepathy?"

"I don't need to know those things. If Sookie wishes to tell me, I will listen. Just like I did when she confessed to me how much you leaving her hurt her. She was afraid of finding love again, because it nearly broke her when you left!"

Loki glared and slammed a chair against the wall with his power in anger, "Do you think I wanted to leave her! I wanted to make her my Queen!" Loki's fingers dug into the table, "Do not question my love for Sookie... You do not know what I have been through with her."

"Like what?"

Loki's eyes narrowed, "Have you ever seen Sookie die?"

Eric just stared at him, face expressionless.

"When Sookie took the Tesseract in, she had died for a few minutes. I had held her corpse in my arms... I was planning to follow her. The moment I saw her lifeless eyes I knew my life had ended."

Eric looked away, "... I'll give you that. I can't even think about Sookie dying without wanting to kill something myself." Eric then looked back to the god, "I won't question your love for Sookie, but you can't question mine either. I love Sookie with my whole being. I would kill for her, I would meet the sun for her, I would even conquer the world for her if she desired it." Eric smiled bitterly, "I haven't even told her that yet."

Loki was calming down himself, he knew he wasn't lying. He did in fact love Sookie as much as he did.

Eric put his hands in his jeans, "So what shall we do about this?"

Loki stood up straight, "I'm not going to leave Sookie again."

"And I'm not going to leave her either."

Both stared at each other, then Eric sighed.

"We'll discuss this with Sookie when she wakes up, agreed?"

Loki nodded reluctantly.

Eric stood on his balcony looking up at the stars. How had this all become so complicated? He knew Sookie had baggage, but he never expected that baggage to come back and bite him in the ass. Although her baggage was lighter then his own. He had baggage he had yet to tell her, and he hoped he would never have to.

A presence behind him brought him out of his inner turmoil. When he looked he saw the god of thunder approaching him.

Thor came to stand beside him, looking out at the scenery.

"Jane gave me a small lesson in vampires," Thor looked to Eric, "She tells me you were a viking way back,"

Eric smirked, "Were? I never stopped."

Thor grinned, "How does it feel to meet your people's gods in the flesh?"

Eric shrugged, "Meeting you, interesting. Your brother however..."

Thor nodded and sighed, "Yes, my brother can be somewhat a pain."

"Somewhat?"

Thor laughed, then smiled fondly, "He wasn't always like this. I feel like I'm partially to blame for what he's become. The only time I have ever seen the brother I grew up with is when Lady Sookie is involved."

Eric was silent for a moment, "He really does care about Sookie then?"

Thor nodded then looked to him, "You're worried that now Loki's somewhat back in the picture it will cause conflict with your relationship with Sookie. Well I haven't known Sookie for long, but I can tell you she is a true woman. She committed herself to you, and I doubt that commitment will diminish because of this."

Eric nodded and smirked, "I can't believe I just received relationship advice from the Thor. My ancestors much be ecstatic."

Thor laughed and patted Eric on the back, "Come! Let us drink to them then!"

Eric had passed on the drink, instead opting for a shower. He needed time to think about things by himself, and he needed to distract himself from his wife being in the position she was in. He wished to be by her side, but the doctor needed her space to work. He trusted the doctor to look after her.

Now that he was all clean, he made his way back down. Pam had left to check on the bar, Thor he could tell was on the back porch with Jane, and Darcy wasn't anywhere around so he assumed she left with Pam. That left only Loki who was in his study.

Eric entered his study and saw Loki reading his first edition of Dracula. The god was in one of his chairs and out of his armor. Well someone was making themselves at home...

"Thor's wench told me to read this book to understand your kind better." Loki sensed his presence, but didn't bother looking up at him.

Eric rolled his eyes, "It is probably the most accurate of the books about us, however there are differences."

Loki nodded understanding it was like the tales of Thor and himself. Most of them were purely fiction. Especially the ones about him giving birth to Odin's horse and having sex with every inanimate object in sight. He blamed Thor and his friends for those ones. Hopefully Sookie had not heard of them, he would never hear the end of it.

"She also suggested a book called 'Twi-'"

"No. Just no." Eric interrupted.

Loki shrugged, "Considering we'll probably be stuck together, I figured I should research your kind so I know what I'm dealing with."

Eric gave an unnecessary sigh then moved to the shelf and pulled a book off of it, "This one would be better then. It's a book that was actually written by a vampire. The humans think it's fiction, however it's actually a true story."

Loki took it, surprised at the barbarian being so cooperative.

"You're right we'll be stuck together either way." Eric shrugged, "And to be honest with how much trouble Sookie gets into it might be good to have back up."

"Yes, trouble just gravitates to her doesn't it?"

Eric smirked, "That's putting it mildly."

Doctor Ludwig soon entered the study, making both men focus on her, Loki standing up from the chair.

"How is she?" Eric spoke up first.

"She's fine. She'll heal with some rest. I think she rejected your blood because the ancient thing inside of her was already doing so. You both can go in and see her now."

Eric nodded, "I'll send your payment as soon as possible, and always it was a pleasure."

"Fuck off." Ludwig grunted as she left.

"She's pleasant..." Loki commented.

Eric shrugged, "She's not a huge fan of vampires." He then looked to Loki, "Now shall we go check on our wife?"
