Lucy's POV

Hello again. It's about 5 in the morning right now; I woke up a few minutes ago and can't get back to sleep. Today is the day we get on the Hogwarts Express. I'm so excited. Harry and Hagrid are still asleep (I can hear Hagrid snoring in the next room). Hehe. The train leaves at 11 o'clock am. We packed all of our things last night, before we went to bed. I should probably try to go back to sleep, Harry has an alarm set for 9 o'clock. I'll write more later. Bye.

Lucy M. Potter

No one's pov

Bee-beep-bee-beep-bee-beep. Harry's alarm went off at precisely 9 o'clock. He climbed out of bed and went over to Lucy's bed. He could tell she woke up at some point in the night because her journal and a pencil were out on the bedside table.

"Lucy it's time to wake up." He said while gently shake her. When that didn't work he tried something better. "Lucy we get on the Hogwarts express today." A smile then started to sneak onto her face. She slowly opened her green eyes and smiled up at her brother.

"Are we leaving yet?" Lucy asked in a tired voice.

"Not yet. We have to eat, get dressed and then we can go. And also you might want to get a lock for this." He said picking up the journal.

"Oops. I must have forgotten to put it back under my pillow." She said while looking at the book.

"Come on we need to get dressed." They both got up. Harry put on jeans, a blue t-shirt and a old blue jacket. Lucy got on jeans, and a bright orange shirt. They both had the same pair of shoes, blue converse with a red stripe on each side.

After they were completely dressed they heard a knock on the door. Harry went over and opened it.

"Yer both ready. We still need ta eat." Hagrid said to the two kids.

"Yeah. We'll get our stuff." Harry told him. They both grabbed their trunks (Lucy's was smaller than Harry's), and Harry grabbed Hedwig. All three went down stairs to then have breakfast.

It was 10 o'clock when they left. They got in a taxi and went to King's cross station.

Lucy's pov

The taxi ride to King's cross station was a little boring because we couldn't talk about Hogwarts or magic. The whole time though I was bouncing up and down in my seat. I couldn't keep still.

"Are you going to do this the whole way there?" Harry asked turning to me.

"Not aaallll the way."

"Just most of the way huh." I shrugged my shoulders In response to his nonexistent question.

When we got to King's cross Hagrid walked with us most of the way. Part way there he gave us our tickets.

"Platform 9 ¾? But Hagrid there is no such pathway, is there?" I heard Harry ask. When we looked up Hagrid was nowhere in sight though.

"Where did he go?" I asked. Harry looked at me then shrugged. We continued walking till we got to platform 8. Then Harry went up to a guard and asked where the platform was. He laughed in our faces then walked off. That's when I heard a lady speak something about muggles. I tugged on Harry's shirt and his gaze followed mine. There was a family of red-heads, a mother, father and five kids.

"Come on platform 9 ¾ this way." The lady said.

"She also said something about muggles" I told Harry.

He then turned the cart that had our stuff and we followed them. They stopped between platforms 9 and 10. We watched for a minute or two as one of the older boys went through the wall. We stood there in shock while she started talking to two other boys (twins by the looks of it)

"Alright you next Fred." She said.

"I'm not Fred." One of them said.

"Honestly women and you call yourself our mother." The other said.

"Sorry George." The first boy went forward, and then I heard him say…

"I'm only joking, I am Fred." Then he went through followed by his brother. I started giggling when I saw the look on the women's face. That's when Harry started moving forwards, so I followed close to him.

"Excuse me. Could you tell us how, to, um…" We stopped next to the rest of the family.

"How to get on the platform?" She said with a smile (she had a pretty smile) and a small laugh. Harry and I nodded our heads.

She said that it was her son, Ron's first time at Hogwarts too. She then explained that you face strait at the platform and go through (and that it was best to do it at a bit of a run if you're nervous). She also said that I should stay behind and go through with them and their daughter, Ginny. I watched as Harry went in front of the wall, looked up, back down then ran. He then was gone. He said that he would wait on the other side for me. Ron went next, then Mrs. Weasley (as I learned there last name was) and I, then Mr. Weasley and Ginny followed.

When we got through Harry was standing there as promised but looking at the gigantic red, black and gold train. On the side in gold letters HOGWARTS EXPRESS. I had never seen anything like it. We said goodbye to the Weasley's as we walked away. I heard one of them ask where our parents were. I tried to ignore it though. We got to one of the doors and a guy in uniform started to unload our stuff. Harry grabbed Hedwig and I grabbed my journal, pencil, coloring book and colored pencils. We then got on the train. Off to Hogwarts we go.
