For Better or Worse: Goku Becomes Kakarot
Chapter 5
Chichi's Resolve
Chichi's eyes fluttered as she felt the cool breeze hit her beautiful face. It is only 30 minutes pass five am and Gohan is still sound asleep. She stood up and showered and then she put on her red baggy pants and white round neck T-shirt that hugged her body perfectly. Lastly she put on her aqua martial arts shoes.
Chichi quietly got out of the house and walked to the woods not far from their quaint dome house. She started doing stretches then proceeded performing kathas. Chichi's movements are fluid; her form is stunning to look at. She didn't hear that someone landed behind her because, she's too focused with her excercises. A dark and sexy voice suddenly speaks. " you're so beautiful." Chichi abruptly turned around and saw Kakarotto standing before her shirtless and his pants in taters. She exhaled and then softly replied."Yoyour b back." Wha what happened to you?" Kakarotto closed their distance, now he's standing inches apart from Chichi. Despite the tension she feels, she admire how attractive Kakarotto is. It is such a dilemma that she's in love and frightened with the same man. "We have to go home. I need to prepare breakfast". Chichi politely said, then the two of them walked in silence.
While Chichi is pre-occupied cooking the humongous amount of food, Kakarotto is taking a bath in the backyard in the barel. She is thinking to herself and says, "If I have to be a good wife for Kakarotto and win his trust, to bring my Goku back then so be it." I will tell my game plan to Gohan, after breakfast." She nodded in determination.
After half an hour the table is set for breakfast. Gohan comes down to the kitchen to join his mother. He gleefully greeted, " Hi mom! Wow what's the occassion? It looks like we have a morning party." Chichi smiled at her bundle of joy and tenderly replied." Well sweetie I just want to make it up to you since last night was a disaster." Gohan walked to his mother and hugged her tightly and said." I love you mom." She kissed her son's forehead and replied."I love you more Gohan".
"Awesome! Am I suppose to join your dramatic scene?" Kakarotto said with a condescending tone. He walked towards them and sits on his chair. Both Chichi and Gohan looked at him with confusion. He asked them. "What Aren't you two gonna eat yet? If not I'll finish this all." The mother and son need not to be told twice. The two of them are stealing glances at the man Kakarotto. There is something different about him. He looks more peaceful and happy. Does this mean he's Goku again? Gohan tried." Uhm daddy, I'm sorry if I was late last night don't be mad at me anymore? His father looked at him and then replied."Think nothing of it. Just don't do it anymore. I wouldn't want to chastise you. Because it will be unpleasant." Gohan replied in a whisper. "Clearly understood father."
Kakarotto then looked at Chichi and said."No more books and paper for Gohan for now. He should train with me. No brat of mine is a weakling." Chichi composed herself then she replied." Kakarotto, Let him train with his mentor Piccolo and Goku's friends. Your training might be too much for him. I'll train with them too." Surprisingly Kakarotto agreed. He just nodded and continued devouring his breakfast pastries and sausages.
An hour have passed Kakarotto is now catching up on sleep in the master's bedroom. Chichi and Gohan has taken this time to sneak a conversation with Piccolo. Chichi laid her plan to Piccolo then the Namekian laid the task at hand to implement Chichi's plan. The three of them are confident that it will work.
Meanwhile in Goku's mind...
Kakarotto is chained onto a boulder with energy rings. Goku snarled at his face."You will no longer scare and hurt my family and my friends or else I will increase your pain!" Kakarotto feels weak yet unyielding, mocked Goku."Tsk your friends are so weak they're not worthy to be friends with. But as for our wife, she's tasty and juicy as the finest meat the world can offer." And our brat has the potential to become a great warrior." Goku's anger burned all the more he delivered a nasty backhand on his wicked counterpart's face. "Shut the hell up! You will treat Chichi with respect! Or else I will imprison you again."Goku yelled. And punched Kakarotto on the gut hard that made him spit out a thick saliva."Honey please hold on, this will be over soon. I'm coming home."Gohan my son, be courageous and take care of your mom for me." Goku fell on his knees and cried. Kakarotto who's in so much pain kept his mouth shot.
Chichi went to their bedroom and saw her husband sleeping soundly. He looks so innocent and peaceful. Chichi walked over to him and kissed him lightly on the lips. Too much to Chichi's surprise she heard the voice she misses so much. "Honey, please hold on, this will be over soon." Chichi sobbed and said while she caressed his hair. "Oh Goku, I miss you so much." She lay beside her husband until she fell asleep too...
