For Better or Worse: Goku Becomes Kakarotto
Chapter 6
The Big day
Today is the day. Chichi prepared for this with the help of Gohan and Piccolo together with Krillin. This is the day when they will get to test if their plan works. Chichi trained with Gohan and Piccolo for 30 days to put this plan into action. Korin provided the sling and antidote. Krillin gathered the poisoned marbles from an enchanted cave in fire mountain It's now or never. Chichi can't wait for her Goku to come home.
Chichi dressed in her 23rd World Martial Arts tournament even wears the same look. Gohan, Krillin and Piccolo are there on their designated spots meditating to center their ki. Chichi began warming up she started with her stretches then proceeded with her katha. The place is just so perfect. It is in the meadow with wild flowers and a large apple tree where she and Goku spent time when they were just an adolescent. These familiar place might help bring her sweet husband back.
Three days earlier...
Kakarotto is training at the waterfalls when Chichi brought him some snacks. He descended until he reached the ground. He smiled at her then took the picnic basket. He sat down on the grass, then he asked"Chichi aren't you gonna join me? Chichi smiled and sat beside him but kept a little distance. She served him the footlong hotdog and triple pounder wasabi burger. She also handed him three liters of house blend Ice tea. Chichi served herself a chuncky chicken sandwich and a tall glass of vanilla iced coffee. The two shared the meal together without any tension. Kakarotto sudenly asked in his most polite way."How is the progress of your training? I'm beginning to get board without someone to spar with. You know how mischievous I can get." You remember the jail house I burned in your father's kingdom and the strip club in south city right?" They're lucky I spared the innocent. Because the goody too shoes is still a huge part of me." Chichi organized her thoughts before she speaks. Then she remarked "We are doing well in our training in fact I want to spar with you just to guage how far I've gone" I want to train with you and Gohan as well. Kakarotto is pleased with what he heard and said." Alright let's spar you choose the place and I will be there." Chichi smiled and said" deal". She dished out the plates the empty pitchers of Ice Tea and her coffee glass. She placed everything back in the basket. When she's about to leave, Kakarotto pulled her close to him her palm touching his bare chest and offered her a firey kiss. Chichi felt a little bit dizzy after then gently pulled away. She picked up the picnic basket ,smiled at him then walked back home.
Today has come; the moment she'd been waiting for. The z warriors and Gohan sensed a powerful Ki coming. Piccolo announced."Alright his coming get ready Chichi. Kakarotto landed. No one is there. He begins to get irritated and shouts."Is this some kind of a sick joke! If none of you will come out I'll turn this place into a wasteland!" Then suddenly he got shot with a marble squarely onto the back of his head with a sling. He felt a blood drip then sceamed."What the hell! That is nothing but a cheap shot. Come out from your hiding place and face me!" Then he heard a familiar chuckle and his female speaks."Awww you're too impatient. It's fun to play." Kakarotto roared in frustration and said in a dark tone."Woman, don't test my patience!" His female speaks again. "Look around you, don't you remember this place? It's beautiful isn't it?" Kakarotto looked around and sensed the familiarity of the place. Somehow he calms down. He stood still sensing his surrounding. Chichi emerged and stands infront of him. Kakarotto furrowed his eyebrows and asked irritably."What's with the stunt woman?"She chuckled and then said." Oh don't be grumpy,the game is just getting started yes we are going to spar but I want you to dodge these first." Kakarotto is caught by surprise when a barrage of ki blasts and marbles are shot at him. Kakarotto dodged the ki blasts but the marbles are tiny which is why he got hit. Kakarotto felt the painful sting of the marbles. Then he realized those are laced with potent poison and it is his female who shot him with it using a sacred sling. His knees begins to tremble and fell on the grass. Piccolo , Gohan and Krillin stepped out from their spots. Kakarotto looked and called them by their names without any trace of anger. He softly looked at Chichi and reached out to her, then all went brought him to fortune teller Baba's castle. The first stage of the plan has been implemented. Chichi successfully tricked Kakarotto into believing that they are going to have a rigorous training together with their brat. Now as he lays unconscious will Goku resurface again when he wakes up? Or he will remain as Kakarotto from now on...
I know I've taken an uncommon approach. Normally Vegeta is always included and they'll bring Kakarotto to the look out. But I want to make the original DB characters relevant here. Vegeta is in outer space at this period.
