Chapter 4 people! Which is kinda of an awkward moment for everyone ;)

The nightfury who Stoick called Valka, and well Stoick himself were both just staring at each other in disbelief for a moment before Tootless coughed and whispered outloud. "Are you two going to explain to Hiccup and me or are you just going to just stare at each other all day?"

The adults quickly got out of their trance, pretending to cough in embarrassment, especially Stoick since he wrestled Valka infront of Hiccup!

"Is it really you Stoick?" Valka asked getting said man out of his embarrassment as he nodded. "I... I can't believe it! I mean, look at you!" Valka took a quick look around Stoick to see how his looked as a viking.

"Yeah, and look at you," Stoick looked at how grown up Valka looked. "You look absolutely beautiful."

The two couldn't help but chuckle while Hiccup and Toothless still stared at them with bewilderment. Hiccup fake coughed a bit as he commented sarcastically, "I am so sorry for interrupting this interesting reunion but just to let you know, whatever you two are talking sounds very fascinating if Toothless and I know what you're talking about."

Apparently the adults didn't notice or even heard e question until several questions popped in Stoick's head. "Wait, I can understand you? And you can talk to me? How?"

"Yeah, the spirits did this so I can talk to you when I find you," Valka explained, making Stoick got little excited about the fact that bis cildhood friend came all the way to see him.

"Really? But why now?"

"Well.." Valka looked in the satchel she was carrying and soon pulled out the nevklace Stoick gave her a long time ago. "This is why."

"The necklace? You...You kept this," Stoick gasped in shock, since he was pretty sure that Valka would have lost it or threw it away at some point. "After all those years.."

"The spirits told the alpha in the sanctuary that this necklace bonds us as one," she began to explain while Stoick was busy repeating some of stuff she was saying."

"As one? Really Valka?"

"And now I need you to come with me to the isle of night before the spirits change winter into spring."

"The isle of night? You mean the island where we grew up as kids before you moved out? Together?!"

"And burn the necklace."

"And burn it!" Suddenly Stoick tripped over his next sentence in confusement. "Wait what!? Burn it?!"

"Come on Stoick it's just a silly necklace," Valka tried to reason but her plan was easily backfiring when Stoick was starting to feel insulted.

"Silly..Necklace huh?"

"No, no you see the thing is," Valka quickly explained, "The spirits won't let me get married if this necklace isn't burned!"

"Really then why don't you do that job yourself," Stoick suggested, beginning to walk away while Hiccup and Toothless looked at each in even more confusement they couldn't even handle.

"What just happened?" Hiccup whispered to Toothless as the nightfury answered with a shrug. 'I believe this what adults call, romantic drama.' "Toothless, I don't think those two are techiniocly um...togther." 'It's fun to say it anyway.'

"No, we have burn it together, otherwise it won't work!" Valka begged until Toothless has had enough wit standing in the sidelines so he hauled Hiccup into the conversation s the drago asked with annoyance. 'WHAT WON'T WORK! COME ON FOR THE LOVE OF THOR CAN YOU STOP IGNORING US AND ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS!'

"Toothless!" Hiccup scolded although he wanted to explode just as much as his dragon. "Bad dragon you don't scream like that, sorry about that dad...So who's your friend?"

"Oh!" Stoick quickly stopped his annoyed mood then introduced everyone to each other. "Oh, Hiccup, Toothless, this is Valka. Valka this is my son Hiccup and my younger brother Toothless."

"So you're Valka?" Hiccup chuckled in translation to what Toothless was laughing like crazy about, "A certain viking was just dreaming aout you! You sould have seen him how he cried 'Valka, Valka!"

"Hiccup, tell Toothless to quit doing that and you can stop translating," Stoick whispered in embarassment, until Hiccup calmed said dragon down.

"Dad? Son?" Valka looked bewildered at the statement, looking at Hiccup, and then at Stoick, trying to see the resemblance. "You got married to a viking woman or someting Stoick?"

"No!" Stoick quickly explained as fast as he could so Valka wouldn't job into any crazy conclusions. "Hiccup's my adoptive son, you see...Uh what are you doing?" Valka apparently got to close to Hiccup as she examined him in astonishment.

"Oh he's beautiful," She even spotted his prosthetic leg as she also admired the boy's hair. "Look at this hair, and those eyes! And look, he already as a battle scar! No way, you wouldn't happen to be that boy who defeated the Red Death that I heard about?!"

"Ummm," Hiccup rustled his hair in awkwardness as he nodded, "Yeah, but it wasn't myself, dad's parents came to help me."

"Oh my gods I can't believe it!" Valk sequeled until she remembered what Stoick just mentioned. "Adoptive? What what happened to your parents Hiccup? Well I know yur real but horrible father died with the red death but what about your mom? And how did Stoick manage to find you?"

"I found him wondering around the isle of night when the spirits turned me into a human," Stoick began, "He was alone, but techiniocly he found me.."

"Really, but why were you alone Hiccup, wasn't your mother with you?"

The three boys instantly got quiet at that question, shuffling in awkardness to find a simple way to explain the whole story without Valka jumping into conclusions. At last Stoic was the first to explain, "Uhh..You see, the crazy thing..Ummm...I...Um...fought with his mother...since there was huge misunderstanding with us since Farris got...killed in an ice accident..And well...Techiniocly...I was the reason why Hiccup orphaned..."

"But don't worry!" Hiccup quickly added just in time since Valka was ready to roast Stoic alive for being so stupid! "He helpd me ge home, saved me countless times and toldme the truth. Yeah I admit I was really angry wth him but later I forgave him so here we are. As father and son in the woods with a wild nightfury who could talk to us now."

Valka glared at Stoick one last time before she calmed down and went back to what the two were discussing before the introduction began. "Anyway...Stoick please burning the necklace togther is the only way in order for me to get married."

"Um let me think about this.." Stoick pretended to think until he gave her a straight answer. "Nope sorry I can't help you."

"WHAT?! You're just going to say no just like that!?"

"Yep, besides today Hiccup, his friends, and I are going on a vacation trip so sorry can't help, so have fun burning the silly nevklace," Stoic began to walk away with Thornado as Valka shouted out threats.

"Wait, you know neither of us can go on with our lives unless we do this!"

"I'll take my chances," Stoick replied, motioning Hiccup and Toothless to follow until Valka shouted, "Fine then we'll just to wait until the spirits turn you back into a dragon and have you come and find me!"

Hiccup ad Toothless stopped a their trails, turning back to ask Valka, "Where did you say you have you burn the necklace again?"

"The isle of night."

"Funny you should mention that, we're ging there to have our vacation! Dad may e there is way to help her, we just need her to tag along with us on the trip!" Hiccup exclaimed, causng Stoick to sigh and grabbed Hicup to have a smal chat behind the tree.

"Hiccup, look what she said about the spirits turning me back to a dragon won't happen okay," Stoick whispered, "That will never happen, besides she's a nightfury, she can handle goingby herself."

"But do you want to take the chances dad? The small chance of us no longer being father and son?" Hiccup asked. Stoick looked at Hiccp, then at Valka until he sighed once more and announced, "Alright, fine. Valka you can come with us on the trip, just...Follow along we'll go to the village first."

Stoick soon began to walk the other way ad Valka piunted towards the right direction while giggling, "The village is that way Stoick."

"I knew that," He muttered, going the right why as Hiccup began to vhat with Valka, "No he didn't, he has a terrible sense of direction."

"That's not true Hiccup."

"Yes it is and you know it dad, you see Valka, there was this one time when he was supposed to meet me at the cove for something but he managed to get lost for five hours!"

Stoick shook his head but smiled at the way Hiccup was telling the little memory until his eyes narrowed at Valka. Hopefully this decison wasn't one he would regret.
