Chapter 5 people so so sorry for lack of updating is isn't normal for me but with a lot of things going at school, it can hold me back. But here I am now, here's the new chapter and enjoy!

Astonished wasn't the first word to describe how the teens reacted when they saw Hiccup, Toothless, and Stoick walk to the docks with another nightfury trailing behind them! Confused, maybe a little shocked was the right thing to describe their situation, if they weren't Fishlegs that is.

"Cool a another nightfury!" Fishlegs got a little closer to Valka to see the features a nightfury has. "Wow the wing span is longer than Toothless, do you guys realize how incredible this oppurtunity is!?"

"Not as incredible as a nightfury popping in Berk out of nowhere and us getting held up from our vacation," Snotlout impatiently huffed. "What's the excitement with that anyway." Before anyone could answer, Hookfang lit up Snotlout pants, causing him to run around the village until Gobber scooped him up and dumped in a bucket!

"On that cheery note," Hiccup sighed. "I think we should head out, before the twins decided to blow up the village with impatience."

On cue a nearby house exploded, with the twins flying on their dragons as they shouted, "Vacation time! Now! No more waiting!"

"For a couple of teens, some of them act so immature," Valka shook her head, not even realizing tha everyone heard her! "Oops."

"IT CAN TALK?!" Fishlegs looked like he was about to faint that moment but he practically exploded with a ton of questions. "How is that possible? I thought Hiccup was the only one to understand dragons? Can all nightfuries talk? If so then how come Toothless doesn't talk? Does he have some birth defect or something?"

Toothless slapped Fishlegs with his tail in annoyance at the comment as he growled under his breath that Hiccup wisely chose not to translate. "Birth defect, please! I never heard such a ridiculous question in my life. He's lucky I didn't blast his behind for that."

"Okay," Stoick coughed awkardly as he mounted on top of Thornado. "Alright everybody, we can do introductions later but let's mount up and fly off to our vacation spot." Valka paled all of a sudden at the mention of flying, she saw the rest of teens glady mount on their dragons, she had to think of something to avoid flying, now!

"Um how far is that island we're going to Stoick?" Valka tried to ask as politely as she could for the sake of her dignity as a nighfury.

"By dragon it won't take long, about a day's flight and we'll be at that island by breakfast tomorrow."

"Well that sounds like a very good plan but how about we go on boat instead?" The moment she suggested that everone was staring at her as if she just spoke a different language! "What?"

"A nightfury refusing to fly?" Ruffnut gasped in awe. "Never thought I see the day that happens, a nightfury for gods sake!"

"I-It's not that I don't want to fly, no no," Valka quickly explained before anyone could jump to conclusions. "I would love to fly but since this is a vacation, and you have packed stuff, a lot of packed stuff. I figured that it might tire out the dragons, I mean what are the riders doing besides riding?"

"She's right," Astrid spoke up. "For someting really obvious she,s right. It's our vacation, I think the dragons deserve a break and for those who want to fly can fly besides the boat." She looked over at Toothles who almost got into a breakdown at the thought of no flying. Pretty soon everyone got into an agreement whoch led to only Stoick to say the orders.

With a sigh, Stoick shouted over to the forge. "Gobber prepare a ship!"

"So your name is Valka, and you're an old friend of Stoick?" Astrid asked while the tees were surrounding the nightfury, fascinated wi her introduction. "And you joined our vacation to do this burning necklace thing to allow you to get married?"

"Yep that's pretty much it," Valka smiled she leaned over to Hiccup and whispered to him with a chuckle. "You've picked quite a smart lass Hiccup." By that time Hiccup turned red and before he could let anyone else notice, he quickly got up and headed towards where Stoick was.

"Oh did you guys here that, I think my dad needs me now!" Toothless followed the slightly embarrassed Hiccup while he couldn't help but hold a chuckle at his friend's blushing. Hiccup saw Stoick just staring off at the calm sea and after a moment he joined in the watch, they two stayed quiet for a while.

"So how close were you with Valka?" Hiccup finally asked, breaking the awkward silence while the teens seemed to laughing with Valka about something. "And why did she have to leave?"

"Well for your first question, Valka and I were just teenaged nightfuries, friends nothing more." Stoick explained, making sure the boy and dragon didn't get the wrong idea, well mainly the dragon (Toothless). "And she left well just because the needs to be safe from the vikings who still kill dragons. Never saw her again until now."

"Wow, who would have thought that my brother have such a childhood friend, only to wrestle her without realizing," Toothless sighed, shaking his head in disappoinment. "And Farris told me to follow his footprints, how can I if he lets such a women slip off his hands by wrestling her."

"What did Toothless say?" Stoick interrogated, and since Hiccup was a little nervous about repeating what said nightfury spoke, he quickly decided to change the subject.

"Hey dad you know, you never told me about the time you tried to flirt with a female monstrous nightmare but ended up getting trapped in a cave with skunks?"

Now that made Stoick a little more suspcious. "Where did you hear that? I never told you a story like that." He then turned to Toothless. "I'm totally su re that Farris never told Toothless that story."

"Valka told us," Hiccup answered, turning around with Stoick as they heard Valka tell another story about Stoick getting his butt kicked by a sheep!

"Stoick thought he was going to finally get that sheep to give back his new viking trinket he found but that sheep was too smart for that." Valka recalled, trying to contain her laughter. "I told him to let the sheep be but Stoick being such a stubborn boar did otherwise and next thing he knows, he's getting chased by a herd of sheep while the leader kept kicking him from behind!"

With that a chorus of teens were laughing once more while Snotlout needed Tuffnut to held him sit up straight!

"Valka I thought we weren't going to say a word of that?" Stoick hissed but Valka shrugged as she giggled. "Yeah but the whole archipelago knows that sory thanks to the terrible terrors your brother told that story to."

"Really now?" Stoick smirked, he approached the group, sat down on top of the nearest barrel. "How about I tell you about the time Valka mistaken a yak for her father."

"Stoick?! Not that please that is so embarrassing, my father kept repeating that story to everybody!"

"Then that shouldn't be a problem."

The teens and their dragons looked amongst each other, getting interested with the story as Astrid whispered to Hiccup. "You sure they weren't dating before?"

"NO!" Both adults answered in panic, which caused a ton of amusement for the group, well embarassment for the adults.

"You spotted them?"

"Yes sir, they're just up north, we should catch up to them in no time."

"Good," a large man stepped off from where he was standing, down the deck wearing a long cloak of dragon skin, his eyes met a younger teen who happened to be a dragon trapper! "Follow them Eret, we need more dragons to add to my army, and then take down the alpha!"

"With pleasure sir!" With that, the one name Eret went off to order his men around to get the sails ready to follow the unsuspecting Berkian ship.
