Chapter 6 people! Sorry for not showing up in a while, I've been stuck in the relam of schoolwork! So here it is, enjoy!
The ocean kept moving the ship along while the laughs of the traveling group could be heard from miles away! Of course some of those teens and their dragons couldn't keep their feet on the ship. Mainly Hiccup and Toothless.
So the duo flew beside the boat, well actually in all honestly, they were soaring above the ship. Pretty soon Astrid and Stormfly, and the rest of the gang joined them to soar around the boat while Fishlegs made sure the twins didn't accidently blow the ship up.
"Hey Snotlout! Why are you staring at Ruffnut?" Astrid asked suddenly, eyeing said boy whose eyes were focused on the female twin.
"Yeah come to think of it, you and Fishlegs seemed to have been looking at her for her past three weeks," Hiccup realized, "What's up with you two?"
"I think they're not paying attention Hiccup," Astrid had Stormfly lean forward a bit to get near Hiccup as she smirked. "Might have been caugt by this time of the year."
"Oh that lovey dovey stuff right?" Hiccup pretended to act disgusted, even Astrid did so which resulted the two to laugh until the twins fly by as Tuffnut shouted, "Hiccup and Astrid sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"
"URGH! TUFFNUT I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" Yelled a blushing Astrid, as she raced after the zippleback while Hiccup was turning red so he urged Toothless to fly down near the water so they wouldn't be caught in any violence. However he made sure he was distant from the conversation Stoick and Valka began to have, well tried to keep a distnace but it wasn't easy when your dragon's curiousity is engagaed too.
"So the tribe wanted you to marry this Cloudjumper to unite the tribes?" Stoick asked, after hearing the brief explanation Valka gave him as she nodded.
"Since I was the daughter of our leader it would make more sense. Besides we need more dragons to be safe and to aid the alpha to defend the nest incase Drago Bludvist comes to destroy it." She explained.
"Drago Bludvist?" Stoic gasped at the name. "I thought that man was dead from that last battle the nightfuries had with his army."
"Who's Drago Bloodyvist?"
Valka instantly looked over to see Hiccup struggling to get Toothless to fly off so they wouldn't get caught sadly, Stoick stepped in and gestured the duo to get on the ship.
"In all honesty dad, I wasn't intending to spy on you guys but I guess I let Toothless lead for a bit too long," Hiccup explained once they landed. "It won't happen again, but who is Drago Bloodyvist?"
"Bludvist," Stoick corrected but he didn't bother to explain this subject in deeper depth, believing that the two teens were still young to know about this. "He's just a mad man Valka and I knew, that't all you two need to know. Just go fly off with your friends, I'll call you when lunch is ready."
Knowing that there wasn't any other way to have Stoick explain, the two just flew off to enjoy the skies once more.
"I told you not to spy on them Toothless," Hiccup whispered, once they were up again and watching Astrid use Stormfly's tail spikes to hit the twins. "Hey I knew that you wanted to spy too, besides if it wasn't for our spying skills, we wouldn't have known about Stoick's plan to have Astrid cook dinner for us last month." Toothless pointed out.
"Fair point, uh we would been sick in bed all week if we ate her cooking," Hiccup wrapped hos hands around his stomach, remembering about the stomache he had because of Astrid's yaknog. "I hope Valka's cooking is much better."
"Me too, I bet her food is so tasty," Toothless betted, as Hiccup nodded as they continued to fly until at the same moment, they spotted another ship following theirs, just far enough to not be seen by their ship. "What do you know, unknown ship following us, and trying to not get spotted." Hiccup commented, then patted Toothless's head,"You're thinking what I'm thinking bud?"
This time Toothless only nodded, as they looked back to see if anyone was paying attention to them at the moment and just before they could take off-
"And where do you think you're going Dragonboy?" Astrid flew by, cracking her knuckles from happily beating Tuffnut up. "You know we're supposed to stay near the ship. Vacation remember?"
"Yeah but look over there," Hiccup pointed towards the horizon, and there Astrid spotted the other ship!
"Why is that ship following us! Hand me your spyglass." Astrid took the offered obect, looking through it to see the ships sails. "Those sails don't look like any berserker, outcast, or berkian symbol...More like a completely kind of sails I've ever seen. You think they might be a new enemy?"
"I don't know but I know one thing, we have to check it out," Hiccup insisted, looking back at Astrid who just shrugged with a sigh.
"You're going to check it out if I go or not so I might as well come to keep an eye on you, so how exactly are we going to approach them?" She handed back the spyglass, taking the lead as they flew a bit more higher to the clouds. "We'll going to need to dive, fire, and ask questions."
"Or we can dodge.." Hiccup added, not even lating attention to the shieldmaiden, his eyes were lookong through the spyglass. He saw the ship coming closer! "Like now!"
"What difference would dodging-"
"FIRE!"
"ASTRID LOOK OUT!"
Said teen didn't have time to react as several pairs of bolas were shot straight at her, but they didn't get her... Since Hiccup and Toothless fly infront to take her place! The two were plummeting down so fast, they were so certain that by now Stoick saw this scene unfold! Before they knew it, they were greeted by the ocean water, devouring them to the depths until they felt more nets wrap around them and pull them to the surface again!
Only they found themselves in the enemy's ships still tied down with the bolas, while Hiccup was struggling through the rope so he can get his dagger. "For the love of thor why do these thongs always happen!"
"Hiccup!" Astrid was ready to attack but she saw how fast the mysterious ship came, that in just five seconds, it was really like ten feet behind their own ship!
Didn't take a genuis to figure out everyone else's reaction to the events, especially Stoick. Without a second to lose, Stoick was up in the air on Thornado as they began to attack the attackers! "Get your hands off my son!"
Valka however, just jumped over to the ship, not even bothering to fly but no o e had time to notice.
At long last Hiccup got ahold of his dagger so he quickly cut the rope off to free himself and Toothless, the two were ready to shot!
"Rush 'em lads! This one is a nightfury!"
"You heard Eret! Rush 'em!"
Pretty soon, Stoick, and the rest of the teens joined Hiccup, and Toothless as they fought these strange people who felt like shooting down any dragon rider in the sky! Well in Ruffnut's case, she was too busy looking at how good looking Eret looked.
"You think you can defeat me, Eret Son of Eret and my gang of dragon trappers! I don't think Drago Bludvist will be pleased with this attitude!" Eret found himself on a sword fight with Hiccup, who grabbed the nearest sword he found!
"You lads give me a good explanation as to why you shot down my son! Or else I'll have no choice but to burn this ship! " Stoick threatened , as he knocked out one of men, none of them even noticed that both ships were turning near Breckneck Bog!
Not to mention that Smotherint Smokebreath dragons seemed to be gaining interet on the metal around the ship. And the bag that had metal in it, and the pendant!
