I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY FOR MY EXTREME TARDINESS! Believe me i am having trouble with classes so i had to atudy to raise my grades up but now here I am and for those of you who are wondering when am i going to do the final sequel story for a fight for the heir, and for waterbending viking, i'll probably have those stories written by the end of this month, hopefully.
Anyway, here's chapter 7 people and enjoy!
If Stoick made a list of the worst situations he could ever been apart of, this day woud be on the top of that list! He didn't notice the fog that was beginning to cover the ships, or the hisses of the smothering smokebreaths! The gray dragons were waiting for the right moment to attack and take whatever scarp of metal they could find!
Meanwhile, Stoick was grapped another trapper only to crash him on the deck, breaking the wood in the process! The dragon riders were either up in the air destroying the canons or on the deck fighting the trappers, or in Ruffnut's case, try to get a better look of Eret. Valka was fighting Eret without any intention of flying at all.
"Toothless plasma blast!" Hiccup commanded, pointing toward the sails of the enemy's ships until he heard the hissing and realized the smoke! "DON'T SHOOT TOOTHLESS!" Said dragon swallowed his fire, looking at Hiccup with confusement until he heard the hissing as well..."Uh oh...Smokering smokebreath dragons!"
"We have to get out of here, we're right next to Breakneck Bog!" Unfortunately Hiccup was too late for the warning, the scavengers were flying from every corner of the ships in search for anything that has even a little bit of metal! The battle that was engaged was soon turned into a panic to try to get the dragons away from the metal that held the ships together!
"Hiccup, can't you tell them to leave or something?!" Snotlout yelled, chasing a smokebreath that was flying off with his helmet. "GET BACK HERE YOU THEIF!"
"You don't want to know what are the first thhings these dragons are talking about!" Hiccup answered, "They don't seem to want to listen to anyone but their instincts!"
Eret however, was stating at Hiccup when Snotlout mentioned the talking to dragons part. "So this is the boy who can talk to dragons? Now this one Drago would love to be oart of his army.." He used this panic as an opportunity to aim his last canon of nets tocapture all the riders in one place. "That's it, just have the one in the thunderdrum fly right near that nightfury.." Before he could shoot, a smokebreath was attacking him for his swords, which resulted him to shoot, but at a random position!
Thornado tossed Stoick of the saddle so the dragon was the only one who got trapped on the nets, crashing into the other dragons, who also tossed their riders off their saddles so fast ! Valka was the only one to dodge the hit but Stoick managed to get his right foot tied down by some rope after he landed hard on the deck, and to make matters worse, the ship was beginning to sink and fall apart!
Eret managed to chase the dragon off his face but now he couldn't see anything in the thick fog created along with everyone else. So while Hiccup and the other teens tried to find their way through to find Stoick and their dragons without falling in the water, the chief saw the bag with the trinket just a few feet away from his reach! He made great effort to get it but a smothering smokebreath was too fast so it caught it just moments before he retrive it!
"The necklace! That theiving dragon has it!" Stoick shouted, struggling to get up, if e rope his leg was tied to wasn't attached to the anchor! Hiccup came running through the fog, only to see his dad stuck so he rushed to help while he also yelled orders to the other riders. "IF ANYONE IS ON THEIR DRAGON, WE HAVE A SMOKEBREATH DRAGON WHO HAS VALKA'S BAG WITH THE NECKLACE!"
"I SEE IT HICCUP!" Astrid answered but added with regret. "But we can't find our dragons in this fog, it's ridiculous!"
"Valka.." Stoick muttered, then called for said dragon. "VALKA WE NEED YOU TO FLY AFTER THAT DRAGON AND GET THE NECKLACE BACK!"
Valka froze at the mention of flying, but she looked up seeing the theving dragon fly off victoriously with it's prize. However that dreaded memory of the flying incident with the snow and how she was plummeting to her doom came flooding in her mind! She shook her head, taking a few steps back but didn't realize that she fell in the water! Once she did, the dragon was flying away while she responded in worry. "I can't the theif's too far, you try to get him!"
"How can I?!" Stoick asked in annoyance towards the direction where Valka's voice was. "I'M STUCK!"
"Yeah but the smokebreath is closer to you!" Valka insisted, swimming her way towards the ship that had smokebreath dragons fleeing away with metal possesions. "Just get him, he's right above you!"
"I think I can get him!" Hiccup got up aftering releasing Stoick from the trap, in hopes to calm this argument down, as his made his nightfury call for Toothless. Right there the nightfury pounced right next to Hiccup, ready to fly but one of the evacuating smokebreaths decided that the metal rod in Toothless's tail looks interesting, as well as Hiccup's metal leg!
In a flash, the rod was gone so Toothless is absolutely flightless, as for Hiccup, well with his leg gone, he fell flat on the ground, his hand having a tight grip on a metallic shield with ten strike class sign on it that the dragons have ignored! With little time but good aim, Hiccup shot the rope at the Smokebreath with the bag, but at that moment...THE SHIP SANK!
Toothless sprung up in the water surface with Hiccup holding on tight since he didn't have his leg. Stoick swam towards the duo, making sure the teen wasn't hurt while everyone else began to swim towards the island.
The dragon tied in the rope just used it's teeth to snap the rope off before fleeing with it's pack in victory, leaving the passengers in the two ships trying to stay up in the water! Eret quickly grapped some pieces of wood to sail away as his men followed while he pointed towards the group of dragon riders, mainly at Hiccup. "You may have escaped us, but we will get your dragons! Drago will get them all!"
The group didn't have time to worry about Eret, this time they had other things to worry about than his trappers..
Few Minutes Later...
"How could let that dragon escape with my necklace Stoick!" Valka shouted in anger, after everyone managed to find a nice cave to camp out and rest for a bit from all the excitement. "This isn't really the time to be lazy!"
"Then what about you Valka!?" Stoick asked in the same anger, getting up from trying to find something to help Hiccup walk besides sitting on top of Toothless. "You had your claws free, you could have just flew up and stop the smokebreath from getting away! But nooo, you couldn't!"
"Well you could have at least tried to get it, Stoick I mean does Hiccup have to do everything for you?!"
"Don't you even dare bring Hiccup in this conversation! It's your fault that the smokebreaths got his leg!"
"It's not my fault that it's made of metal!"
"Well it's not my fault that you're stupid wedding was cursed by the spirits! I was stuck, the riders were seperated from their dragons so what's your excuse?!"
Valka was about to answer but instead, she growled and turned away. "Shut up already! Without that necklace I can never marry Cloudjumper.."
Stoick's anger was soon washed out when he saw the teens looks at himand at Valka in shock, sure they've sene arguments but not one like this. Then he looked back at Valka, then sighed.
He sure has done it now.
"So that dragon whisperer boy from Berk is with them?" Drago asked the wet and exhausted trapper.
"Yes... Apparently that man he's with is his father," Eret answered, shivering from the water and cold in the wind. "He even rides a nightfury."
"And so there are two nightfuries, and a dragon whisperer," Drago chuckled, then turned to Eret. "I've heard rumors about a dragon turning into a man, and that the man became a father and chief of Berk. And that boy is the son of Berk's deceased chief, so his new father was a dragon...How interesting."
"Sir, if I might add, some of my men were sneaking around their ship, overhearing that this chief has some unfinished business with the spirits and this female nightfury they're with," Eret grinned, pointin got the spies who were even more soaked than him, while trying to cathc a breath of air.
"So it comes to that...GATHER THE MEN! Eret, get yourself another ship, but this time I'm coming with you with my army." Drago saw the sudden change in mood around the area, hearing soldiers getting themselves ready. "We're going to get that boy and his nightfury, one way or another, we're going to split him from his father!"
Dun duh duuuuuuuuuuunnnnn!
What does Drago have in mind when it comes to splitting Hiccup up from Stoick?
