It was finally Friday, the night of Alpha Phi's Bid Night Mixer with the ATO fraternity. Callie had been dying for this moment since she found out about it on Bid Day. She still couldn't believe she had only joined Alpha Phi five days earlier. Since Bid Day, Callie had gone up to the house every evening and was bonding a lot with all of the sisters. She had even gotten really close with a sister other than Arizona, Teddy. Because Arizona was Teddy's little, they were always together, thus leading to Callie spending a lot of time with Teddy as well. She even sort of wanted her as a big, but she also considered how awkward that could make things.
Stepping into her dorm room, which felt foreign to her anymore. Callie threw her book bag onto her bed, shoved some belongings in her overnight Vera, and made her way to Addison's room. "Hey slut."
"Excuse me. Do I know you," joked Addison.
"Don't tell me you haven't been at Tri Delt all week."
"Well I have been but not as much as you. At least I come home at night," replied Teddy, eyebrows raising insinuating a variety of things.
"Yeah, yeah. But I didn't stay with Arizona the whole time. I passed out in the apartment talking and drinking on Wednesday. Then last night we were watching a movie in the third floor common room where I fell asleep. I only slept in Arizona's on Monday, and all we did then was talk."
"Whatever you say my little sorority girl. To think that you didn't even want to go through this time last week."
"I'm never going to live that one down. I was wrong, okay?"
Without warning, Addison began jumping up and down screaming. "Vicrtory!" Immediately following this action, she started humming the Rocky theme song and running around the suite with her arms up.
Taking this as her cue, Callie picked up her overnight bag and left the suite and took the short walk across the parking lot to Alpha Phi.

Music was blaring from the apartment of Alpha Phi as Callie, Arizona, Teddy, Lexie, Lauren, and two other new members, April and Izzie pre-gamed for the mixer that night. Teddy pulled out two shot glasses and waved Callie over to her. "I propose that you and I take shots of tequila."
"Oh yeah," Callie countered. "Well I propose that you try to keep up with me all night," stated Callie as she threw back the shot of tequila Teddy poured.
"You are definitely the coolest new member."
After a few rounds of shots, Callie found her way into Teddy and Meredith's room to freshen up. She was shocked when she felt a pair of hands cup her ass. She was so surprised that she dropped her mascara brush and flipped around like a murderer just entered the room. She was pleasantly surprised, however, to find the beautiful, blonde haired, blue eyed girl that consumed her thoughts as of lately standing there. "Hello there."
"Hi. How are you doing," replied Arizona, stepping closer to Callie and wrapping her arms around Callie's waist.
"I'm not going to lie. I'm pretty excited for this mixer and for Alpha Phi Punch."
"Everyone is excited for the punch. Even the ATO's. You know what I'm excited for?"
Callie raised an eyebrow in interest. "What?"
"I'm excited to dance with you and run my hands up and down your body in a drunken stupor."
"And the sisters won't be suspicious?"
"Absolutely not. We all do that at mixers. It is just never sexual. Usually it's to get the guys all worked up."
"Oh. Well, I'm anxious for the dancing to then," whispered Callie.
The two stepped closer together and immediately found one another's lips. Callie couldn't help herself when her hands slipped down Arizona's back and onto her ass. In response to this move, Arizona moved one of her hands up to cup Callie's breast and moaned into her mouth. "Mmm Calliope."
Immediately realizing the danger in what they were doing, Callie pulled back from Arizona. "You sure are a risky girl."
"What can I say? I love the risk of getting caught with a sexy Latina."
Cheeks instantly turning red, Callie turned back around towards the mirror in order to finish touching up her makeup. "You're going to kill me, woman."
"Oh please. In other news though, I was wondering if you knew who you were thinking about to be your big."
"Well I hope you're not offended but I don't really think it would be appropriate if you and I were big and little. I was, however, thinking about Teddy."
"You what," exclaimed Arizona, clearly upset by the idea.
"Well if I'm at the house and you aren't here I usually end up hanging out with her and we end up having a lot of fun."
"Teddy is my big though. You do realize that if she was your big that would make us twins?"
"Yeah, but a lot of the sisters are twins and they hardly acknowledge the fact," defended Callie.
"I just don't get why you have to choose my big out of all of the amazing sisters in the house who don't already have a little."
Surprised by Arizona's reaction, Callie was not sure what to do next. She had considered all of Arizona's points but she honestly didn't look up to any of the other girls in the house like she looked up to Teddy. She also had a completely different relationship with Teddy than the one Arizona and Teddy had.
"I'm sorry, Arizona. I just thought I should be picking the person I thought would make a good mentor in the sorority, and so far, Teddy has been doing a damn good job."
"Whatever Calliope."
With that, Arizona stormed out of the room leaving Callie in complete shock before the mixer.

At the mixer that night, Callie and Arizona avoided each other like the plague. Each girl felt she was right in some way, shape, or form. This left Callie hanging around with Teddy and Arizona with a large group of sophomore sisters. Teddy had taken Callie under her wing when she saw Arizona storm out of the apartment prior to the mixer. She took Callie aside and assured her that Arizona acted that way sometimes and that it would all blow over in a matter of time.
Now at the mixer, Teddy and Callie were dancing in the apartment of ATO. They each had a drink in their hand and a majority of the guys staring at them. "Just ignore them. They will gawk for a few more minutes until they realize we aren't going to beg them to bring us to their rooms."
"Despite their typical man acts, they seem like cool guys. I mean they really went all out with the mixer and all."
"That's because we don't typically mix with them and because we brought our punch."
"Why don't you typically mix with them," questioned Callie.
"Well technically on the social ladder we are above them. This year though, they have a huge budget for parties and are dating quite a few of our girls."
"So more parties with ATO will occur?"
"I think so. So are you enjoying Alpha Phi?"
"How could I not be? I have been at the house almost every night this week."
"Yeah. You are one of the best new members we have. We need all of the new members to be as involved as you."
Callie was going to continue until blonde hair rushed through the room. Arizona was following a sister of one of the ATO brothers into the bedroom of the apartment. Curiosity got to Callie as she kept an eye on Arizona and excused herself from Teddy. "I need to talk to her."
Teddy just nodded and continued dancing as Callie walked towards the bedroom in the apartment. Once she reached the door, Callie slowly opened it. Instant anger ran through her body as she saw the sight in front of her. Arizona was making out pushed against the wall with her legs wrapped around the girl she walked into the room with.
Not wanting to see anymore, Callie turned around and slammed the door shut behind her and began making her way through the apartment as quickly as she could. Once she got out of the apartment, however, she didn't know where to go. She didn't want to leave the mixer yet. It had only been going on for an hour and all of her sisters were still there. Deciding to stay, Callie went upstairs and found a group of sisters on the dance floor.
"The Wobble" was playing when Callie entered the room and all of her sisters were doing the dance that accompanied it. Callie decided to join the group. She ended up next to Lauren and Lexie.
By the end of the dance, a group had formed around Callie as she fluidly moved her body to every move of the Wobble. "You really know how to move your hips, don't you Callie," questioned Lauren as a new song started.
"I guess so," replied Callie shyly.
"It's so hot up here."
"Yeah it is," said Lauren, eyeing Callie up as she danced.
Without warning, Callie felt a set of hands on her hips. She honestly didn't feel comfortable dancing like this with Lauren, knowing that Arizona was so close. Then she remembered what she witnessed downstairs and decided to start moving her hips along to the song with Lauren holding on to her.

Once she got to the mixer, Arizona was so pissed at Callie for wanting Teddy as her big that she went off and found anyone to help her let out some steam. That was when she found Julie, an ATO's sister, brought her to the apartment bedroom, and began making out with her. And that was when Calliope saw them and slammed the door as she left. Arizona felt like such an idiot. She wanted Callie to join Alpha Phi so badly just a few days ago and now here she was being an ass just because Callie created a mentor bond with Teddy. She had no idea why Callie was able to do this to her after just a few days but she couldn't help herself. The Latina was like drug. She had to fix this.
Arizona, however, was completely appalled when she entered the common room upstairs where everyone was dancing and spotted Lauren with her hands all over Callie as the two danced to the song. At first, Arizona was furious, but then she remembered why Callie was dancing with someone else in the first place. Remembering this, Arizona made the decision to let go of the anger and jealousy she was feeling and handle the situation differently.
Arizona slowly walked over to the pair on the dance floor and stood in front of Callie. Their eyes met and before Callie had a chance to say anything, Arizona's arms were around Callie's neck and her hips were grinding into Callie's. The two had an intense staring match and both girls forgot that someone else was dancing with them.

After their intense dancing session at ATO, Callie and Arizona didn't last much longer at the mixer. Not being able to take the tension, both girls headed back to Alpha Phi half an hour after they found each other on the dance floor. Once they were safely in Arizona's room, hands went everywhere.
Arizona stopped them before things could go too far. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't even have asked you about who you wanted as your big. We technically aren't supposed to do that. And I definitely shouldn't have handles my anger by going and making out with someone else."
"It's okay. I understand. I thought of the same concerns that you had. You just asked so I told you. As for you making out with someone else, I definitely didn't like seeing it but I don't own you to stop you."
"I know and you're definitely allowed to want Teddy as your big. The ranking will determine if she wants you as well. Let's agree to not talk about it anymore. Our relationship, whatever it is, can't get in the way of the sorority. Regardless of if I'm yours or not, it was not okay."
"Agreed. So how about for now, we just don't talk," suggested Callie as she pulled Arizona in for another kiss.
As usual, the kiss intensified and neither Callie nor Arizona stopped the forward progress that was occurring. Callie lifted her arms when Arizona began lifting the hem of her shirt. Eventually, both girls had their shirts and bras off and were rolling around in Arizona's bed. Light moans, escaped from both of their mouths as their hands explored one another's bodies. Callie decided to be brave and allowed her hand to run down Arizona's stomach to the button on her pants. Eager and willing Arizona lifted her hips to allow Callie better access.
The pulsing in Arizona's core was begging her to allow Callie full access to her vagina, but the nagging feeling in her head made the final call. "Calliope."
Callie stopped her hand right before it dipped into Arizona's underwear. "Are you okay?"
"Of course. I just don't know if we should be doing this. If we do this then there's really no turning back. And what if the sorority finds out? I don't want to risk you being initiated or anything. Plus, everyone would probably treat us completely differently. It just feels like we should wait to do this until we know for sure that we are going to be something that lasts. Plus, I'm a classy girl."
Initially being hurt by Arizona's reluctance to do what they were about to do, Callie couldn't help but laugh at Arizona's final line. She had to admit that Arizona had a point. They hardly knew each other. Yeah, Callie knew that most people would say that that's what college was about but this was also not a typical college hook up. Hell they were sorority sisters.
"You're right. I'm exhausted though. Do you think I could stay here tonight?"
"Of course," replied Arizona, smiling at the result of that conversation.
