#9 Because you're in a hotel

Emily's wedding was beautiful. Her dress was flawless and the decoration of the reception was very well conceived.

That's what Casey thought.

Derek just thought that this was really boring, and wondered why was he even invited. He was an ex-boyfriend! Sure, they only dated a while and he knew Emily liked Sheldon and he liked Casey, but still. It felt weird.

So he was just waiting for the good part, which was bedtime. I mean, they were in a hotel… he was bound to get lucky. And by lucky, he meant good and laid.

The only problem was that he didn't find someone to sleep with yet. But it was only a matter of time… I mean, he is, after all, Derek Venturi.

Kendra has been dropping hints all night about how 'a quickie in the bathroom is healthy for your heart' but banging your ex-girlfriend from highschool is just tacky.

He knew who he wanted to 'bang' though… except it wouldn't be banging, it would be…. Making looooove, as she likes to call it.

They had been broken up for over 2 months now, and haven't caved once. It was junior year of college so they were still living together in the same apartment, but they had separate rooms.

Why did they break up? Because I'm an idiot, he thought.

It was all Emily's fault, anyway.

They had received the invitation for Emily's wedding, and Casey was really excited.

"Oh my gosh I can't believe Em is tying the knot! I mean we are only junior years…. But it's so cool! It will be our first wedding attendance as a couple! We can take ideas for our own wedding," she had said.

Derek had flipped.

He broke up out of fear. He had felt claustrophobic and tied up. And now he realized that being tied up to Casey was his lifelong dream.

But returning to the banging issue. He hadn't has sex in two whole months! So he needed it… badly. The problem was, Casey was ignoring him and flirting with some frat guy from Emily's college. And the frat guy was tacky too… I mean, he was wearing a white suit! Doesn't he know that only the bride is allowed to wear white in the day of her wedding? Gosh!

He decided to approach them, and maybe ruin the 'tacky fratty' chances. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? Casey would slap him? That would be better than having her ignore him. Resisting her has been tough, with them living in the same apartment and all that…

"Hey Case, who's your friend?" he smoothly asked.

"Hi devil," she answered, glaring at him. "Let's go dance William." She said, turning to the boy she was talking to.

William?! What kind of name was that anyway?

"Nahh I don't think so princess, you know why? Your little friend here is kind of tacky, and so he can't put his hands all over you, or he will turn you into tacky too," he stopped them. "I mean, more than you already are."

"Der-ek!" she screamed (Victory! He thought) "Excuse me William, I have to have a little chat with my step brother," she excused herself while pushing Derek's chest.

"Step brother and ex boyfriend too!" he added for William's sake.

Casey led him to a dark corner in the reception area.

"Will," jab in the chest.

"You," another jab in the chest

"Stop," and another.

"Being," Derek's chest was really hurting right now.

"A," Was she stopping anytime soon?

"Jerk!" Aaaand it was over.

"See, I knew you were gonna call me a jerk from the start, you're getting predictable Princess," he smirked.

"Don't call me that," she said quietly, looking at the ground sadly.

"Hey, why are you sad?" he asked, grasping her chin to force her to look at him. "Aren't we supposed to be fighting? Fighting is fun Spacey."

"Stop with the cute names! I can't handle it!" she exclaimed, in the verge of tears.

"Why? I've always called you that," he said softly.

"It hurts too much."

He couldn't take her sadness anymore. Pulling her towards him, he held her tight and whispered in her ear. "It hurts, but it feels right, at least for me. Just because I was a jerk doesn't mean you stopped being my Princess, or my Spacey."

"But you were a jerk," she whispered back, but held him tightly anyway.

"I know. Can you forgive me?"

She suddenly looked at him. "What does that even mean?"

"I am asking for forgiveness Casey. I can't be away from you anymore. I love you, you know I do, and I just freaked out about the wedding comments because I have commitment issues, you know that."

"I know but I didn't ask you to marry me right away, I was just talking, and not thinking," she explained.

"I know… and now I've thought about it, and marrying you is kind of what I've always wanted. Only with you could I imagine myself doing that," he said seriously. "But not right now, you know, like uhm… when we are older and stuff," he finished lamely.

"I know!" she assured him. "I never wanted to get married right away. You know education is my priority; I have to finish college and get settled. You know me; I never go out of the plan."

"I'm sorry I freaked out."

"I'm sorry I freaked you out." She said back.

"So… are we like… friends and stuff?" he asked embarrassed.

"Shut up and kiss me Venturi!"

And he complied, pulling back just to say, "Well that was easy."

"I've missed your kisses too much to even try and make things harder for you," she simply explained, pulling him for another kiss. He might just get lucky after all… and by lucky I don't mean laid anymore. You see, for Derek it would be great to just hold her tight for the night. But apparently she had other ideas.

"Take me upstairs, Derek," she whispered against his lips.

"Don't use that tone with me Princess, I might just not be able to control myself," he warned.

"Then don't." She shrugged.

It's safe to say that all discussion was out of the window and he just led her to the elevators, and then into his hotel room.

"You know," she started, between kisses. "People say that being in a hotel room is always a good excuse to have sex."

"What about missing my girlfriend like crazy?" Derek prompted. "Is there a good reason to have sex?"

"Nahh," she answered, smiling shyly. "But it's a good reason to make love. Will you make love to me?" she asked, blushing madly.

He smiled at her blush. "No need to blush Case… we've been here before, and you are the only woman I'd make love with."

And he continued kissing her, and threw her onto his bed. He followed shortly and soon he had a hand up her dress and into her, making her feel good and preparing her for him, and at the same time he was kissing the valley between her breasts and she was moaning his name and clutching painfully at his hair.

"Der, please. Clothes off now!" she begged. And he couldn't agree more.

When she was naked under him, her breasts pressed up against his chest, he realized how crazy he must've been to even think of dumping her. She was his perfect match. And when his hard member entered her and she clutched his butt cheeks to get him deeper into her, he knew that he was finally home.

And that's how Derek Venturi got the love of his life back, by banging in a hotel room (making love, thank you very much.)
