"A little lone dove had flown one night
But unknown to it, suddenly stolen was its flight."
Reposted from Wattpad
One quiet night, in flight was it, a little lone dove
Adorning the mask of a magpie
In search for the eternal gift that many would love
To the farthest of the earth, this little dove would try
To seek out and open the forbidden box
Relentless was it, to seek out God's gift even under the watchful eyes
Of the keen and sharp hawks
But unknown to the hawks, hidden in the dark, shadowy guise
Was the vengeful inky-black crows
But worry not, for clever is this dove
Through small tricks, traps, and shows
The dove will escape, once again high above
Very lucky, the dove can be
For finally, within its grasp a bleeding crystal
And with this crystal, the dove can be free
But without it knowing, breaking the still
Appearing from the shadows, the crows arrive
And fled did the dove, high to the sky
But alas the poor dove, the crows did strive
Loud was the dove, letting out a cry
For its flight, now stolen
And fast did it plummet
Left all but broken
With no one to catch it
On that night, the dove's mask of a magpie had shed
Holding onto its secrets and lies, it finally rested.
One night, a little lone dove fled and flew
But quickly did in, without a goodbye or adieu.
The poor dove let out a cry
But quiet was it then, as it lay to die.
