Hey everyone! Sorry it took me so long, I've been busy! That's probably the only excuse you'll ever hear from me, but oh well..

Here's a chapter that I was very hesitant to release because I don't know if you'd find it too boring.. I tried to make it a bit more interesting than originally planned, but I promise you something is gonna happen on the RinHaru part in the next chapter (oooooh) :D

I hope you enjoy this filler, feel free to leave constructive criticism or reviews of my work, it makes me happy to see that some of you are loving this so far! :D Lots of hugs to all of you!

Huh? How did he get here? The sun blinded him as he opened his eyes, pushing himself up onto his elbows as he looked around. He found himself on a beach he'd never been to before, the ocean gently pushing waves of clear water against the sand, a sky so blue that it hurt to look at and the heat making it harder to breathe than usual. He took a whiff of the air, but furrowed his brows in discontent as he couldn't smell anything.. Anything but a familiar scent that wasn't too sharp, but still strong enough to make Haruka aware of it's presence. That was the smell of Rin Matsuoka's cologne, no doubt about it. Did that mean Rin was there as well? He turned his head, blue eyes widening slightly in surprise as he saw the red-haired teen sleeping in the sand next to him. Where were they? Haru tried his best to come to a conclusion, but nothing made sense to him anymore and his struggle to make sense out of it only made his headache even worse.

With a sigh the dark-haired teen threw himself back into the sand, smiling as the warmth enveloped his body once more. He wanted to ask Rin about this, maybe this was all his doing? In any case he'd enjoy this moment to the fullest, that much he knew. He didn't get to enjoy anything though, because as he shot a glance at Rin to make sure he was still asleep, two bright ruby eyes were staring straight into his own. Too close. He was too close. This didn't feel right, something was off about Rin.. He just kept on staring at him without blinking, almost as if he was dead.. Suddenly there was no more warm sand, no sooothing sound of the ocean, nothing. Everything around him had died, colors and sounds fading into nothingess as Haruka tried to grab his rival's shoulders, but as he did.. Everything turned black.

Rin Matsuoka was sitting at his desk with his phone, staring at the teen lying in his bed as he considered calling 911. It had been thirty minutes since Haruka had tripped over the spectators bench by the pool and hit his head severely. The redhead had carried the unconscious teen all the way to his room, made sure he wasn't bleeding and even tucked him in.

"I should call 911.." He mumbled to himself as he swiped his finger across the screen to unlock his phone, but quickly looked up as he heard movement coming from his bed. Finally, his black-haired rival had started to move around with painful groans as he slowly returned to consciousness. Rin shot out of his seat, jumping to Haruka's side to see if he decided to wake up or not.

"Oi, Haru! Can you hear me?" To be honest he didn't really know how all of this worked, but he'd seen it in movies a couple of times. If he kept on talking to him he'd reply sooner or later, right?

"Wake up, you're freaking me out!" That seemed to work. Eyelashes fluttered slightly before two blue eyes sleepily peeked up at him. A sigh of relief left Rin's lungs and he pulled over the chair so that he could sit down before his knees would give in under him.

"..Rin?" a voice muffled by the covers sleepily asked.

"Seriously man.. You gave me a heart-attack you idiot!" Even though he was relieved that Haru was alright it kind of pissed him off that he had made him worry that much.

"...You're not dead... Good.." Okay, correction: Haru wasn't alright after all.

"Why would I be dead?" His ruby eyes met his rival's blue ones for a moment, before the dark-haired teen avoided his gaze by turning his back against him.

"It's nothing.." He mumbled in reply, closing his eyes with a sigh. So it had been a nightmare after all? He tried to run his dream through his head once more and just as he got to that point where he thought Rin was dead, someone grabbed him by the shoulders and turned him around in the bed.

"Oi! Do you really expect me to believe such a shitty excuse coming from someone who almost died?" He paused, angrily glaring into Haruka's shocked blue eyes before easing his grip around the teen's shoulders.

"You had me worried sick y'know.."

Huh? Was Rin worried about him? A sudden wave of heat ran through his body until he could feel his cheeks burning, trying his best to keep the covers in front of his face so that only his eyes were visible. Haru found himself dumbfounded and quickly tried to think of something to reply with, ending up with a simple "Sorry.."

The redhead shook his head with a strange look on his face, was he blushing too or was Haruka just seeing things?

"Don't be sorry, it wasn't your fault.. Well kind of.. Anyways, if you need anything just call." Blue eyes followed Rin as he pulled the chair back over to his desk, once again stunned by that same muscular back he'd seen earlier. Even though the red haired teen was wearing a tank top it was easy to make out every single muscle underneath the gray fabric. Wait, why was he doing this again?

'I can't have him staying here, this is fucked up..' Rin thought to himself as he focused on the computer-screen in front of him, trying to get rid of that bright pink color dusting his cheeks. Why did Haru have to be so annoyingly adorable? Why couldn't he just be ugly or something? The redhead sighed deeply, peeking over at the dark-haired teen who was lying on his back staring at the ceiling.

"If you're worried about Makoto and the others, I've already called them and informed them about what happened.. I told them that you're staying the night." Haruka nodded half-heartedly in response, showing that he hadn't really been giving that any thought at all. Rin continued, turning in his chair to get a better look at him.

"Nitori will be here any minute now.. I told him to pick up some Tylenol for ya' since your head must be killing you." Haru nodded again, eyes still fixed upon the white ceiling. This pissed Rin slightly off, being ignored like that was one of the things he hated the most which was why he decided to take it even further.

"With Aiichiro being here, that means we're gonna share a bed. Hope you're cool with that."

"Hm? Cool with what?" Haruka turned his head to look over at the now fuming ruby-eyed teen who got up from his chair and marched over to his side once more, almost shouting.

"You and I are gonna sleep together! You hear me?" The boy's blue eyes widened at the sudden outburst, not really knowing how to respond. He was just about to open his mouth as both teens heard a silent knock on the door. Rin turned around, his face turning a strange mixture of red and purple as he saw his roommate standing in the door with arms full of pills and a forced smile on his face. The redhead flailed his arms around before letting out a clearly fake and way too high-pitched laugh, quickly making his way over to his very embarassed roommate.

"Hah.. No homo though!" He tried to save it, grabbing the pills from the smaller teen and placing them on the desk. The smaller silver-haired teen just laughed in response before making his way to the bathroom, silently closing the door without uttering a word.

"Oh my god.." Rin sighed, closing his eyes before punching himself in the back of his head. He knew very well that his roommate was easily flustered about those subjects, but he just suddenly appeared! It wasn't Rin's intention of making it sound that.. lewd. A chuckle from the other end of the room made the red-haired teen turn with a raised eyebrow. Haruka was sitting up, struggling to keep a neutral expression. It always made Rin's heart skip a beat when he saw the blue-eyed teen smile, especially since that was a very rare sight to behold.

"Oh, you think that's funny?" Rin said, making his way to the bed with a laugh before signalling the other boy to move over.

"Try not to move around too much, if my back hurts when I wake up tomorrow you owe me 10 dollars." And before Haru got the chance to protest he pulled the covers over the both of them, lying himself back to back with the dark-haired teen as he hoped to get a decent night's sleep. Hoped.
